I agree with you on one point. Voting for men has been disastrous since the beginning of the political system. I feel the imbalance of having men run the political, economic and religious system is precisely the problem. If there were a balance of women and men making decisions we wouldn’t have war. The pendulum needs to swing the other way and I couldn’t agree more that we are a war mongering society. Of course Bush and his cronies are puppets to the corporate powers that rule. That’s no secret and not rocket science. Unfortunately, that is what runs this country and the world. Bush’s family is controlled by the Saudis since they hold a very high level of influence financially in our country. It is precisely what Jimmy Carter foretold years ago. He was perhaps the wisest man ever chosen in modern times although not much of politician.
I still believe that voting is the only practical and tangible way to change things. Religious beliefs aside, a stand should be taken against what is happening. It is why we have a constitution that is still worth defending, although one wonders for how much longer.
And, I wonder if you have ever done research into the impact Mary Magdalene had on Jesus and the gospel. My research shows me she was as annointed as he was and was as powerful. In my interpretation, Jesus deferred to her and vice versa. They were equally powerful – my point is even Jesus acknowledged the need for balance in genders. After the male interpretations of the gospels and writings that were “chosen” to make up our bible, (meaning the female writings were either destroyed or ignored) she was reduced to nothing more than a prostitute who needed redeeming. Until people recognize the need for the male and female balance we will continue to be a warring world.
The first “Christian” who recognizes this will have my respect. I do not label myself any particular religion, nor do I have a need to……but I am well educated and well versed in your teachings. They are too one sided to actually offer anything to resolve the world situation.
Respectfully,
Terry
Hi, Terry,
Excuse me for not getting back to you sooner. I will reply as we read:
You write: “I agree with you on one point. Voting for men has been disastrous since the beginning of the political system. I feel the imbalance of having men run the political, economic and religious system is precisely the problem. If there were a balance of women and men making decisions we wouldn’t have war. Terry, it is not even the problem, much less “precisely” so. When I speak of “man,” I mean humankind. According to Scripture, it was the woman who was deceived, not the man. The serpent came to Eve, not to Adam. This does not mean that Adam was less guilty. He was more so, because while Eve was deceived, he went in with open eyes. He was the one who heard directly from God, commanded not to eat from the Tree of Knowledge, yet decided to follow his wife rather than obey God. That is the “original sin.”
Besides, men are born of women, and women of men. The sin nature, as identified and described by God is an independent, rebellious, and warring spirit, which is in both sexes. Therefore, any mix of the two you like will not avail. Along with the notorious males, we also have Jezebel, Athaliah and Delilah. This may sound sexist to you, but it is not: I believe that almost every president ever elected in US history, and every Prime Minister elected in Canadian history has been a woman, “the hand behind the throne.” It was women who led Solomon astray, though he was the wisest man who ever lived, outside of Jesus Christ. Think of it, Terry. You say we are a warmongering society. It is sexually homogeneous. Men wear the dresses, and women wear the pants.
Please go to The Vashti-Esther Transmutation. Perfectly applicable to our discussion.
You continue: “Of course Bush and his cronies are puppets to the corporate powers that rule. That’s no secret and not rocket science. Unfortunately, that is what runs this country and the world. Bush’s family is controlled by the Saudis since they hold a very high level of influence financially in our country. It is precisely what Jimmy Carter foretold years ago. Voting for Jesus Christ solves the problem of whether a man is much of a politician, tactician, power broker or whatever. Jesus Christ is the incarnation of the answers we need. The problem is SIN, and voting for humankind is voting for vanity, because of that sin nature in all.
You write: “I still believe that voting is the only practical and tangible way to change things. Religious beliefs aside, a stand should be taken against what is happening. It is why we have a constitution that is still worth defending, although one wonders for how much longer.”
You admit or should, that voting all this time has not changed anything. Yes, stands should be taken against what is not right, and for what is.
You say, “Religious beliefs aside…” That is the problem. Those are put aside. If they are brought into the mix, they are brought in as laws and doctrines, but not as reality. They are brought to kill and not to bring life. Religious beliefs are not meant to be for their own sake but for ours. It is not a matter of religion, or doctrine, but of reality. Jesus Christ came not to give us religious beliefs, but Life, in fulness. It can be had. He said so. He is not a liar or a fool. He preached it, and sent His followers to do the same.
This is what we do now, and we are getting to the root cause of the whole mess, the human nature that needs a Savior. Terry, that is why He laid down His life and took it up again. He did it to demonstrate that He is God, that we have every good reason to believe and trust Him, and to provide the Way out of this mess. We must believe. That is what is required of us…devoting ourselves to God, and voting for Him.
Do you not see that they are doing as they please with, or in spite of, the Constitution?
You write: “And, I wonder if you have ever done research into the impact Mary Magdalene had on Jesus and the gospel. My research shows me she was as annointed as he was and was as powerful. You are in great error there, “not knowing the Scriptures or the power thereof” (Matthew 22:29), and base your opinions on silly or evil notions concocted by the ignorant. Consider that it was not Mary who died on the cross for humankind, nor any other woman or man, but Jesus Christ. He was the Son of God in the flesh. He also had the power to raise Himself from the dead. Nobody else has ever had that power, simply because they are not God. The whole of the Old Testament was of Him, not of Mary nor of any other person. Jesus said to the Jews who contended with Him, “You search the Scriptures, thinking that in them you have eternal life, and they are they that testify of Me.” Dozens upon dozens of prophecies in the Old Testament came to be fulfilled in Him. This is not so with any other.
Even His male disciples, the apostles, were not credited with the same status your informers credit to Mary. Therefore, they contradict themselves if the argument is that she had the same power Jesus did, and the truth of it was hidden because men hid it. Also, if she had the power that you ascribe to her she would have seen to it that her testimony went forth; men could not have forestalled it. Jesus in His power, had His recorded.
Jesus did not acknowledge the need for gender balance. To say that would be to say that someone came up with the concept and He agreed. Being the Creator of all things, He is the Originator of what is right and good, and not someone who is subsequently enlightened by His own creatures. He is the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and the Omega (the A and Z). Having said that, Terry, Paul the apostle does declare the following, by the Spirit of Christ in him:
“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many as were baptized into Christ, you put on Christ. There cannot be Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is no male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:26-29).
Men and women both, outside of Jesus Christ, are corrupt. In Christ, they have the only, genuine hope. As it is written, “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27). That is why He is called the Savior of all men.
You write: “The first “Christian” who recognizes this will have my respect. I do not label myself any particular religion, nor do I have a need to. . . . . .but I am well educated and well versed in your teachings. They are too one sided to actually offer anything to resolve the world situation.

Terry, may I respectfully say three things to you:
1)I am of no particular religion, not even the “Christian” one as it is generally and popularly represented.
2)That which we preach is for both sexes, and the Scripture I just quoted from the Book of Galatians speaks of equality such as we have not known in this world outside of Christ.
3)You are not at all well versed in my teachings. Your versing has been of the teachings of others, in the Name of Christ, some true, some false. Therefore, you cannot judge as to whether my teachings are one-sided or anything else.
While I would like you to be versed in my teachings, it is not the answer. What is needed is your repentance, your turning to God with all your heart, and then will you know for yourself, as well as do I, what the nature of my writings is. I am not here to indoctrinate, but to persuade people to “vote” for the Lord Jesus Christ. He is indeed Lord of all.
Let me end this letter with very appropriate and applicable words, from the apostle James, for several issues we have discussed. Note that he too speaks of, and to, both sexes, rebuking them together, and telling them clearly what is needed:
“From where do wars and fightings among you come? Is it not from this, from your lusts which war in your members? You desire, and do not have. You murder, and are jealous, and cannot obtain. You fight and war, yet you have not because you ask not. You ask and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it upon your lusts. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever desires to be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Do you think that the Scripture says in vain, The spirit that dwells in us yearns to envy? But He gives more grace. Therefore He says, God resists the proud, but He gives grace to the humble. Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners; and purify your hearts, double-minded ones. Be afflicted, and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to heaviness. Be humbled before the Lord, and He will lift you up” (James 4:1-10 MKJV).
Thankful to be writing you,
Victor
