Regarding your “very important message” about “another Sabbath” – we have corresponded with other “lunartarians” in the past concerning the weekly Sabbath, and respond to you by copying the appropriate segments of those letters as our answer from the Lord on this matter.
By the way, the Lord gave us to keep the weekly Sabbath in 2000, which you can read about here: How the Lord Gave Us the Sabbath.
I’ve tried reading through the materials you sent us. I say “tried” because in some instances I find it hard going and didn’t understand the reasoning or conclusions. I hope you can help me out. One part in particular pertains to using the lunar cycle to determine the times of the weekly Sabbath. It reminds me somewhat of the conversation Victor had with his son Jonathan about the Sabbath, which you comment on in your letter:
“On November 21, 1999, as Jonathan and I sat reading Exodus 20, he asked me why we didn’t keep the Sabbath. I don’t feel at peace about any answer I give him. Why? I found myself getting into a sort of confusing defense against keeping the seventh day, the Fourth Commandment. I also had to reason with him about keeping another day, namely Sunday. Of that conversation, you said:
“Isn’t this always the case? A little child shall lead them. As adults and denominations, we’ve made ‘salvation’ so much more difficult than it really is. We are to have that child like faith.”
The sum of the matter is this: If you can’t explain it simply, so that a child can understand what the “seventh day” means, then you have a problem. Your literature is definitely creating that problem! I don’t want to potentially throw the baby out with the bathwater and miss any significance to the new moon and the lunar cycle, so I must ask you directly: Can you tell me, in your own words, directly and simply, how one is to keep the Sabbath as commanded by God?
Your answer will be much appreciated. To help you in providing me with it, let me tell you what I see, as I can verbalize it from where I now sit. I’ll start with the Scriptures:
“And God called the light, ‘Day.’ And He called the darkness, ‘Night.’ And the evening and the morning were the first day” (Genesis 1:5 MKJV).
“For in six days the LORD made Heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it” (Exodus 20:11 KJV).
“You shall do your work six days, and on the seventh day you shall rest, so that your ox and your ass may rest, and the son of your handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed” (Exodus 23:12 MKJV).
The day begins with darkness, proceeds to light, and ends with darkness. Every seventh day since God created Heaven and earth is the Sabbath, a day of rest. After each Sabbath the days are counted again till the seventh day, and then we have the next Sabbath. It was according to this reckoning that Israel kept the Sabbath in the wilderness, as commanded by God through Moses. In case anyone had forgotten which day was the Sabbath, or had a quarrel about how to calculate it, God Himself showed them which day it was, and regularly demonstrated it, for 40 years through His miraculous provision of manna, which was doubled on the sixth day, and ceased on the seventh:
“Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, in it there shall be none” (Exodus 16:26 MKJV).
Having this training, the Jews didn’t forget which day was the Sabbath, from Moses to Yeshua, the Latter also acknowledging the Sabbath, knowing what day it was.
Now, here is the tricky part: Has something actually changed the way days are counted from the time of Yeshua till today? This is where you lose me. The Jews, who have not forgotten which day is the Sabbath, keep what is called “Saturday,” or Friday evening to Saturday evening, without fail or dispute, all over the world, at all times. Have they all missed the change, or do they all misunderstand how to calculate the days to determine which day is the Sabbath?
Here’s another aspect to the situation, more personal. The Lord gave us the Sabbath to keep, Friday evening to Saturday evening, and He didn’t correct us on this understanding or direct us otherwise when He gave it to us. Perhaps now is the time for that, you might say, and perhaps you’re right. He could have withheld this from us….
The Lord has never corrected us about the day we’ve kept. Indeed, He has blessed us. Like the Name of Christ has a singular identity, Saturday is known all over the world as the Sabbath.
It did cost us to keep Saturday as the Sabbath, literally. We lost half or more of our business, as we expected. I’m not saying this as complaint, or perhaps thinking we lost it for nothing. Obedience always costs. But it was great gain spiritually, and the Lord turned things around and prospered us even more than before in physical things, though we didn’t ask for it.
I’m not trying to build a case here for Saturday as the Sabbath. I’m simply reporting to you what I know and see. If you can show us otherwise, and I believe I speak for Victor and the rest of us in this regard, we do want to hear what you have to say and to obey whatever is right and good in the sight of God. Don’t be dismayed or consider this an adversarial debate. We are, by the grace of God, for the Truth, and we hope you are and will be, too. We aren’t assuming otherwise. It is in this spirit that we come together with you and wish to reason….

You start off on the wrong foot altogether. The mark of the beast is about having the “name of the beast” or the “number of his name.”
Revelation 13:15-18 BBE
(15) And he had power to give breath to the image of the beast, so that words might come from the image of the beast, and that he might have all those who did not give worship to the image of the beast put to death.
(16) And he gives to all, small and great, the poor and those who have wealth, the free and those who are not free, a mark on their right hand or on their brows;
(17) So that no man might be able to do trade but he who has the mark, even the name of the beast or the number of his name.
(18) Here is wisdom. He who has knowledge let him get the number of the beast; because it is the number of a man: and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.
The mark of the beast has nothing to do with the Sabbath (at least not directly). Apparently you don’t have wisdom from God regarding what is the mark of the beast. We do – by His grace and revelation. He has delivered us from that mark, having sealed us in our foreheads. Read The Mark of the Beast and the Seal of God.
As for your challenge, we see that Brian Hoeck of Truth on the Web has capably supplied all that is needed to demolish your arguments for a luni-solar Sabbath: Sabbath: Counted From the New Moon?.
Though not specifically formatted according to the letter of your challenge, Brian has provided ample proof, with valid Scriptural arguments that disprove your theory in truth and principle. He shows that the observance of Sabbath days according to the luni-solar calendar is disconnected from the authentic seven-day cycle that God initiated from the beginning, meaning that your schedule violates the Sabbath Commandment. You owe this man a million dollars. Will you heed your pledge to retract your error and pay up?

In all justice and truth before God, we red his material and judge that Brian has soundly refuted your theory logically, reasonably, fairly, historically, and most importantly, Scripturally – and then some, according to the conditions of your hasty, defiant, proud challenge.
You are indebted to him for US$1,000,000, payable now, according to your promise. Now pay that which you have vowed before all, unless you can prove him wrong, not by Babylonish record and tradition or man’s carnal reasonings (none of which prove anything), but by the Word of God, which tries all things, which is precisely what Brian Hoeck rightly and wisely relied upon.
While it is abundantly clear that what he has provided is in harmony with Scripture, Brian also made it abundantly clear that you altogether contradict God and His Word.
If keeping the right weekly day as the Sabbath means one’s salvation, you perish in your calculated error. Fortunately for you, it doesn’t mean that, but it appears you are trying your level best to remain lost and anti-Christ any way you know how.

There is was no new light presented from the Bible that would show an alternative calendar to Yahuwah’s calendar. Furthermore, since the challenge was posted no one has been able to prove from the Scriptures that the Sabbath falls on any other dates on His calendar than the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and the 29th. We were Saturday keepers for many decades; but when we were faced with His divine calendar we had to discard Saturday Sabbath. To date we have not seen any scriptural evidence in favor of going back to Saturday Sabbath, or a third alternative.
We do not take lightly the Challenge, and consider the prize as token of our deep gratitude for anyone who can show us our error. After all, if we worship Him on the wrong day, then the whole wealth of the world would be nothing to the loss of our eternal lives.
It’s not that there wasn’t light provided, Galal. The reality is that you and your self-serving cohorts reject the Light, blinded by your idolatry. It’s impossible for you to see or hear a thing.

At creation, our Creator gave us His calendar . . He placed in the heavens
Creation of the sun, moon and stars
Gen 1:14, And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven [WHY?] to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
See, He gave us “light,” for “days and years.”
A “day” makes up a week right?
7 “days” make a week . . So far, so good.
He rested on His 7th day brought upon by the “lights in the heavens.”
Now our Bible also tells us something is going to get broken. Somebody is going to attempt to change His calendar 🙂

Everything is simple and clear enough for us, David, by the grace of God. Evening to evening makes a day. Six in a row, starting with God’s designated first day, brings you to the Sabbath. No fancy footwork or calculations necessary.
The link you’ve provided shows how the Catholic Church changed the Ten Commandments, removing the Second Commandment against graven images. The Catholic Church also did away with the Fourth Commandment by declaring the first day of the week the Sabbath in replacement of the seventh day God had sanctified. How much more blatant can one get in tampering with His Law?
Have you red any of our website or the links I’ve provided you with? You imply that we could only be refusing your loony doctrine because we’re “enjoying [our] life in Babylon.” Tell us specifically how and where you see us “enjoying Babylon” in our lives or preaching of Christ.
