Wishing Peace on “Scripture-Benders”

Hi Guys,

I came by your site and read around a little. I have some questions about your views on hell.

It seems that you suggest that people don’t actually go there, or if they do, it’s not eternal. Or that it doesn’t exist at all.

I just wonder how you might reconcile this assertion with Revelation 14:9-11

9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive[his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured outwithout mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: andthey have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”

Also, I notice that the greek term for “for ever and ever” used here is the same term as in Rev 10:6, describing God who “lives for ever and ever” so if that term means something less than eternal, than that term also applies to God Himself.

yes?

It just appears to me that hell does exist. that it is for satan and his angels, and at least the people who take the mark share his fate.

would you agree? not trying to cause a problem, jusy hoping for discussion.

shalom,

Hi Samuel,

Take your time and read, The State and Fate of Hell and The True, Scriptural Meanings of “Forever,” “Everlasting,” and “Hell”. These will correct the false premises from which you’ve posed several questions.

There’s more in The Restitution of All Things – check there first before posing more questions on “hell stuff.”

I think I will pass. You guys are the biggest scripture-benders I have seen in a long time.

You have spun everything around to suit you, just like those you accuse.

I will leave you to your fates.

So you’re wishing peace on “Scripture-benders,” Samuel? Our God says there is no peace to the wicked.

“But the wicked are like the troubled sea, which cannot rest, and its waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, says my God, to the wicked” (Isaiah 57:20-21 MKJV).

That’s you – in total contradiction, subject to the mire and dirt cast up in your corrupt mind. And now, as the wicked are wont to do, you flee.

“The wicked flee when no man pursues; but the righteous are bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1 MKJV).
