Hello, I just watched Todd whites testimony and came across your response letter about him and schnoel… I can’t even remember how to spell his last name but I saw the part about how he doesn’t talk about repentance, (white) and I just wanted to say,(as a learning kid) that I thought his whole thing was about repentance, that you can’t just ask Jesus to save you and live the exact same way like he said he had for the first several months, he has a testimony only because he finally turned to Jesus fully and really did change because of Jesus. Other wise he’d still be an angry crack head shacking up with chicks like he did BEFORE he repented. Right?
Like I heard him say you have to be IN JESUS, in His WORD! ….That whole washing with the water of the word thing in Ephesians ( which I didn’t hear him say but it comes to mind) because holiness can only come from relationship with Jesus and how you really know Him unless you are in His word!? The word makes you grow, makes you change, washes the filth out your brain, right ? Or am I confused?

Not necessarily. People can make many dramatic changes apparently for the better without being regenerated by the Lord Jesus Christ. They may give a testimony about the Lord without giving His testimony from Him, as do all His servants:
“And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, See, do not do it! I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” (Revelation 19:10 MKJV).
Todd doesn’t have this testimony. Read all the postings on our site:
