Good day to you, Achelleas,

You call us brothers and ask if there are any sites where you can find “true sound teachings.” What do you think is in front of you right now at The Path of Truth? Why aren’t you reading and profiting from what the Lord has given us? How is our site insufficient that you need to look for something else?

You ask about Creflo Dollar’s teachings, yet say you can’t find sound fellowship in Cape Town because all are preaching prosperity, his speciality. Why do you have a question about Dollar’s preaching, but not these others?

For more on Dollar’s false gospel, read Partying “Down Under,” MegaChurch Style and Osteen, Joel: Everybody’s Friendly Enemy. These are his relatives.

As for which Bible to use, what are you using now? Is English your first language?

As you read on our site, you’ll see that we quote from many English versions, though mostly from the KJV or Modern KJV. Some other translations we use that may work for you are the Literal Version, the English Standard Version, the English Majority Text Version (New Testament only), and the Good News Bible (a bit more spotty).

You can check out many Bible translations at https://www.biblegateway.com/, to see which may suit you best. It’s good to use more than one translation anyway, for comparison’s sake. It’s also helpful to consult a good Concordance for word meanings, like Strong’s, which is linked to the KJV. You can use the free software at www.E-Sword.net to have these tools available to you on your computer.

Let us know how you do with these things, Achelleas, and if you have any questions. Tell us more about yourself if and when you write back.

Paul and Victor
