Hello
My name is Jon, I am 40 years old and live in the UK. I started my religious journey a little over a year ago and I have changed a lot in my life. I have repented a lot and a lot more and more still…. I spend a good amount of time in contemplation of all I have learnt from the scriptures thus far and read the bible daily and as of yet do not belong to any church. However…. there are still many questions that I struggle with, but to start with could you please give me your views on the following:
1. Do we as christians need to keep the sabbath day? and if so which day? (Saturday?)
2. Do we need to be baptised? I was baptised as a child so does this count? Does it have to be a full immersion baptism?
3. Do we need to attend church and if so how do I decide on which denomination? 7th Day Adventist ties in with a Saturday sabbath etc.
Any help you can afford me would be most appreciated.
