Grace, it’s good that you would want to give to the Lord. You can and you may send offerings to us, but with conditions. We prefer to not accept gifts from strangers, especially if they don’t believe. We want to know who you are and whether or not you agree in spirit with us and why. We want to know that you’re receiving our ministry.

God wants people to be willing, knowledgeable, cheerful givers. Are you satisfied in spirit that we truly honor the Lord? Are you giving for the right reasons?

As you continue to read through our site, you may decide to have nothing more to do with us. Not that the Lord requires you to readily believe everything we teach. People must be given time to learn and to receive understanding from the Lord Jesus Christ as they walk with Him. But if you’re at peace with us and our ministry before God, wonderful, you’ve been blessed.

Hi Victor I have been reading from your website for approximately six months and have found your teachings and testimonies to be very enlightening. It has been a blessing to me in a time of spiritual dissolution regarding mainstream preachers, teachers, ministries etc. Your teachings have been refreshing to hear. I believe that where you are being fed i.e. The Path of Truth, is where I should and would like to send my offerings.

I have been sending offerings to a very large American TV evangelist but have recently had doubts whether the money is used for the work of God or to enlarge their ministry and lifestyle, even though God has been blessing me by my obedience. Since I have stopped offering to the said ministry my business and personal finances have taken a downturn. I don’t want to be walking in disobedience in this area, therefore since The Path of Truth found me would it be right to send my offerings to The Path of Truth? I await your response, Thank you for your counsel in this matter

Kind regards, Steven

Hi Steven, Paul Cohen here.

A Grace wrote us last month, asking about sending us tithes. Here’s what Victor replied:

Grace, it’s good that you would want to give to the Lord. You can and you may send offerings to us, but with conditions. We prefer to not accept gifts from strangers, especially if they don’t believe. We want to know who you are and whether or not you agree in spirit with us and why.

But if you’re at peace with us and our ministry before God, wonderful  you’ve been blessed. [END]

Are you in agreement and at peace with these conditions? Please elaborate.

Question: If you’re being obedient and following the Lord by disassociating yourself from a deceitful work of men (as taught in the writings He’s given us), why are things going sour with your finances? Do you know the reason why this is happening?

Hi Paul, It was actually me that originally emailed you regarding tithing but I sent It from my daughter’s iPad so the email address you received said Grace, sorry for the confusion. I receive your ministry in the spirit and am at peace with what you teach for I know what you teach to be from God. Although I have not obviously read everything on your website I am in agreement with what I have studied so far. I do want to honour God with my giving and want to give for the right reason (not to milk some formula). In fourteen years of giving, all be it perhaps sometimes to the wrong ministries in ignorance, God has blessed me. There have been times in this period when I haven’t given and have noticed a downturn in business and finances. I have only ever stopped giving to certain ministries through revelation and understanding of the truth, not a specific instruction from God. As far as I know I am walking after the spirit and in truth of his righteousness, so at this moment where I am experiencing a slight downturn in business and finances, I cannot give an explanation other than that I have stopped giving for several months and therefore am being disobedient in this area. I want to give to be obedient that is why I have asked the question as to whether I can tithe to The Path of Truth. Thanks for your time in this matter. Steven

Hi Steven,

The Lord has evidently been working with you, requiring works of faith based on what He’s given you, which is a very good indication you’re on the path of truth – the way of His salvation.

As you aptly put it, if you’re being fed by our ministry in the Lord, then you’ll be honoring Him by bringing your offerings here. On this basis we can receive them, giving thanks for what God has done and is doing in your life.

You can send the offerings to us through a PayPal account (if you don’t have one, they’re easy and free to start), to Paul Cohen (in US dollars as a gift, not as payment). If this way doesn’t work for you, or you need help, contact Sara Schmidt and she’ll assist you.

Besides reading on our website and writing to us, you’re also invited to join us and other believers from around the world at our weekly Sabbath meetings in a chat room on our website, starting at 12 noon MST (North America). The meetings last for several hours, well into your night, but you can come and stay for however long you wish.

We’d like to hear more about yourself and your spiritual journey, Steven. Fill us in as you’re able.

Steven and Karen, we appreciate very much your offering unto the Lord. Thank You, Father, and thank you both.

Above all, the greatest thanks we can possibly receive is that you hear our words and walk in the light as He is in the light. That is our great reward, for which we’re very thankful. Lord willing, by our instruction in the Lord, you’ll prosper in every way concerning the Kingdom of Heaven.

Would you like to receive our correspondence on spiritual issues raised by visitors to The Path of Truth?

Thank you, Steven and Karen, and bless the Lord for what He’s doing in your lives! We hope to hear more from you when you’re able.

I’ll be sending you a separate email inviting you to our new forum, which hasn’t been opened yet to the public on our site, but we’ve begun posting with others among us.

Thank you, Steve and Karen.

Paul

God bless you, Steve and Karen and thank you! Thank You, Father!

I do hope God is blessing you by our ministry that you may be sustained in this increasingly troubled world and kept on your arduous journey into the Kingdom of God. In Him, we have nothing to fear; the Truth makes us free; He is Faithful and True, Always. Believe on Him and never doubt. Spread the Word of Truth far and wide, that it might reach others in need to hear and be saved.
