Hello,
First I mean no disrespect. I found your website, and read your articles on Torben Sondergaard.
I am just learning of this person as well. I find him very intriguing. I read your thoughts on Torben and I was hoping that you could possibly give me some biblical reference that debunked his ministry.
With that said, I have some comments and some concerns.
When I was a little girl I witnessed many, many, many times in those old 1980’s Georgian tent revivals, permanent healings, casting out of Demons, real discipleship of fellow congregants, praying and fasting, and real come to your house type of fellowship. (It seems that this is what this Torben guy is preaching.)
I have not witnessed this type of real healing since I was a young girl. Also, I have not seen true fellowship that I witnessed from a child. The American church is very selfish, worried about their on desires instead of Gods. The bible preaches and teaches we should cast out demons, heal the sick and make disciples. The Christians and its churches, myself included, rarely make disciples, rarely become well, and almost never cast out Demons. This is opposing to everything that Jesus taught. I am tired of pretending church with a bunch of pretending people, that goes home and reads our bibles and say, yep I’m good. Jesus should be the center of our lives, period.
I fast and pray often and I have met a hand full of people that fast and pray often. I have a great yearning a great desire, to please God in this way. I know it is possible because I have my memories. I am not sure about this Torben guy, there are false prophets. I am not convinced he is one. Please give me some Scriptural references better than the ones on your website to debunk this mans walk.
Other information I have for you. He does have a book, and he offers it for free in ebook form, the 3 day stay at the kickstart program for only $40 total, this includes food. Then there is the Program in Utah that he offers for only $800 for a full 3 week stay, including food. Most other programs are much more expensive. If he was trying to get rich wouldn’t he charge more that just the price that would cover his cost for us to be there. I would like your wisdom, but I would also like to truly and prayerfully research this person before you reply. Thanks for your time. God Bless and Thank You.

Aside from the fact that we never thought or proposed Torben was trying to get rich from his spiritual enterprise, we have truly and prayerfully meditated on what we’ve written about him as a false teacher. We have no doubt of the verity and substance of what’s posted on our site. The truth is there, rich with Scriptural proof for those with eyes to see and ears to hear.
Regarding the matter of having spiritual faculties, you say:

You have all been Christians in name only, Olga, not in reality. That’s why things aren’t happening there and it’s why you can’t see the evidence we’ve presented of Torben’s anti-Christ ways.
“Why do you not know My speech? Because you cannot hear My Word” (John 8:43 MKJV).
This can be good news if you choose. Now you can repent and learn of the Lord as He is in truth. He is not in the showy stuff. Don’t assume that because you see what appear to be miracles, the Lord is there.
“For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders; so much so that, if it were possible, they would deceive even the elect. Behold, I have told you beforehand” (Matthew 24:24-25 MKJV).
The sign of the Lord’s Presence is the resurrection power that follows taking up the cross. The sign is available only to those who are given to see.
“And then the sign of the Son of Man shall appear in the heavens. And then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of the heaven with power and great glory. And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other” (Matthew 24:30-31 MKJV).
