Hi,

You have quite a bit of information on your website..it will take me time to get through it.  But I do have a few questions.

  1.  Will everyone eventually make it to heaven?  Even evil murderers and abusers and blasphemers?
  2.  What articles on your site deal with heaven, what heaven will be like?
  3.  Is this a type of Universalism?
  4.  Can I do it your way to be saved and have my bases covered by already doing it the evangelical way?

Keep reading the writings in the section on “The Restitution of All Things,”

for the answer to question number 1:

https://www.thepathoftruth.com/teachings/restitution/

For question number 2, you’ll need to enter the Kingdom yourself to know what it is like, which you can only do by the King, Who is the Door:

“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture” (John 10:9 KJV) .

“But as it is written, ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,’ nor has it entered into the heart of man, ‘the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’ But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God” (1 Corinthians 2:9-10 MKJV).

The King, Jesus Christ, is the Kingdom of God, its glory and fulfillment in those who believe.

For question number 3, see:

Subject: Hell

Hi,

I’m trying to understand the issue/purpose of hell vs the lake of fire.  If someone is not saved while hear on earth, do they then get a second (or more) chances to get to heaven?  It sounds like what you are saying is that hell/lake of fire is for the purpose of purifying sinners who were not saved while alive on earth. I assume that as bad as the lake of fire is made out to be that everyone will eventually want to be in heaven if they are experiencing the lake of fire.  I apologize if the question is not clear. But it makes me wonder if people will choose to live like they wish on earth (sin and not come to know Jesus) with the understanding that they can have a relatively short term experience in hell/lake of fire. Is there anything we can do to know Jesus will accept us hear on earth?

Thanks,

Ken W.

Hi Ken,

“And death and hell were cast into the Lake of Fire” (Revelation 20:14 MKJV).

Hell and the Lake of Fire are two different things. The first is a state of spiritual deadness and darkness, the second is the action of God that purges and renews men from that state. “For everyone will be salted with fire” (Mark 9:49 ESV).

You write:

I assume that as bad as the lake of fire is made out to be that everyone will eventually want to be in heaven if they are experiencing the lake of fire.

Pain doesn’t turn men to God. If that were the case, many would be with the Lord already. It’s His grace that turns anyone to Him.

“For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8 MKJV).

Pain can be used to get our attention, but only seeing the Lord by faith saves us, as with Job at the end of his long ordeal.

“I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; but now my eye has seen You. Therefore I despise myself, and repent in dust and ashes” (Job 42:5-6 MKJV).

But it makes me wonder if people will choose to live like they wish on earth (sin and not come to know Jesus) with the understanding that they can have a relatively short term experience in hell/lake of fire.

It doesn’t work that way, Ken. People aren’t in control – God is. Read Whose Will Is Free? and The Most Foolish of Questions.

Is there anything we can do to know Jesus will accept us hear on earth?

The Lord said He came that we might have life, even abundantly.

“I am the door. If anyone enters in by Me, he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:9-10 MKJV).

We are saved and enter into life through the Lord Jesus Christ, by believing Him and doing whatever faith in Him requires of us, because we believe Him. Keep reading our writings and hear the words of faith that will build faith in you.

I looked up your email address online and found your letter to Darwin Fish about chronic pain. His answer had much error. Darwin doesn’t know the Lord, though he is familiar with the Scriptures and quotes them copiously – Must Everything Be Spelled Out in the Bible?

There are simple solutions in a complex world. The Lord is the Answer from which all other true and good answers flow. You need to come to Him and believe, as a little child comes to his father and trusts him.

Paul
