Hi there,
After being inspired by a film with Todd White, I wanted to see if there were any skeptics out there who could prove my enthusiasm wrong. So I came across this website and was quite intrigued. I found myself going “Yes…Yes…So good..So right…This guy’s got his head screwed on right.. waaaait-“ ..

I’m sorry sir, after reading through your page for last few hours (Yes. Hours.) you come across as very well read and educated on biblical truths. How do you see past this one?

Yes. All verses pertaining to hell. Are you going to tell me that none of these were inspired and spoken by the Lord, and that they are just verses by mere carnal men?
I honestly would never take this much time to try to argue a point that is so obviously and unmistakably wrong, but in most other areas, you and your “team” seem pretty intelligent. Except on this one. Tell me why I’m wrong.

I just want to add that I should have been skeptical of this website from the very moment I realized Rob Bell was not listed on your list of false teachers. Oh my. A man who distorts the bible in every which way yet you somehow manage to support him.

Megan, how can you rightly conclude that because we haven’t listed Rob Bell as a false teacher we therefore agree with him? Not only is that a false assumption, it goes against what we’ve plainly stated in the very first words introducing the False Teachers Exposed section:
“This list is not meant to be an exhaustive one. What is important is that one learns to discern truth from error.
‘Then you shall again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God, and him who does not serve Him’ (Malachi 3:18 MKJV).”
Regarding the big lie John Piper subscribes to, you seemed to have missed the key word, “interminable”:

We don’t deny there’s a place of torment or punishment – we’ve been there and see many others there. We only point out that there’s no such thing as a place of torment that doesn’t end. Jesus Christ isn’t a loser; He is the Winner of all, as the Scriptures amply declare from beginning to end. See The Restitution of All Things. This section of instruction will answer the Scriptures you list in your email.
Does it insult your righteousness, Megan, that Jesus Christ is the Savior of all men? Along those lines, you also wrongly ascribe our writings to “intelligence.” Our writings are revelation from God and have nothing to do with man’s intelligence or abilities. You’ll get nowhere with God by your intelligence:
“At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank You, O Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the sophisticated and cunning, and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight” (Matthew 11:25-26 MKJV).
“For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7 MKJV).
And here’s where you get tripped up:
“For since, in the wisdom of God, the world by wisdom did not know God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save those who believe” (1 Corinthians 1:21 MKJV).

Paul, you so conveniently ignore all the verses that mention eternity.
You say, “Judgement Fires are Correction, Not Destruction.”
2 Thessalonians 1:9 “They will be punished with EVERLASTING DESTRUCTION and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power”
You question, “Is Hell Forever? Those who teach an eternal (everlasting, time without end) Hell plainly teach that Hell is the Omega (English “Z”) because implying there is no end to it.”
Matthew 25:46 “Then they will go away to ETERNAL PUNISHMENT, but the righteous to eternal life.”
Also, this is a biblical debate pertaining to strictly what the bible states, so I don’t know how you get off on attacking my character by asking, “Does it insult your righteousness?” If you want to harness effective conversation you’ll abstain from juvenile remarks that have nothing to do with the subject matter.
John 14:6 “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”
Matthew 7:22-23 “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, “I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS”
How are all men to spend everlasting life in paradise if they do not first go to the Son and ask for forgiveness and relationship with Christ?
You paint a picture of a God who gives these laws to man, yet when man chooses not to keep them and turn his back on God while denying His power and existence and living a life far from Him, man receives eternal life regardless. This just is not true.

If you won’t do that, you have nothing to offer us except your ignorant opinions and presumptions, none of which are true. Stop insulting the Lord Jesus Christ. Get responsible and read everything in the section I gave you and don’t write back if you won’t answer everything I’ve specifically pointed out to you.
