The law was fulfilled by Christ in the 1st. Century.  Is that not in Matt.?

Are you referring to this Scripture, Steve?

“Do not think that I have come to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to destroy but to fulfill. For truly I say to you, Till the heaven and the earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle shall in any way pass from the Law until all is fulfilled” (Matthew 5:17-18 MKJV).

So yes, Christ fulfilled the Law in the first century, and in every century thereafter in those who believe in Him through faith from God.

“Therefore do we nullify the Law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the Law” (Romans 3:31 EMTV).

The Law hasn’t passed away as some think, because all hasn’t been fulfilled. That’s why the Lord sent His apostles to teach His commandments:

Matthew 28:18-20 MKJV
(18)  And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority is given to Me in Heaven and in earth.
(19)  Therefore go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
(20)  teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the world. Amen.

Read Law and Grace.

The commandments have been fulfilled by Christ.

We are in the new covenant not the old.

Matthew 5:18-20 ESV
(18)  For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
(19)  Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
(20)  For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Which commandments haven’t been fulfilled in you by Christ, Steve?

Andre,

Do you disbelieve in the God of the bible. Or in God period

I am back to the God of my childhood.

I believe we are in control of the physical. I think the real God controls the spiritual. I think. I am not 100 percent sure.

Andre what do you think

Your friend. Steve

Steve – you got the wrong “A” address on the “To” line of your email below. It came here, to ThePathofTruth.com instead of going to Andre, the one you intended to receive it.

Regarding your comments to Andre, the truth about the matters you brought can be found here on our site:

Free Will (section)
God Is Sovereign: Man Is Presumptuous

As an object lesson, consider that physically you made a mistake in emailing the wrong person, but God did correctly by having your email go to where He desired. He is Lord of all, over all realms.

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father” (Matthew 10:29 ESV).

I’ve also taken this opportunity to send you our last reply in case you didn’t get it. Likely you did, however, because you were already avoiding answering what we had sent you previously.

The problem, Steve, is that you’ve found your life. You sought it on the wide path of destruction, whereas we lost our lives at the narrow gate, by the grace of God in Jesus Christ:

“For you are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:3 KJV).

As a child of this world and darkness, you don’t know us or see our lives in the Lord:

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me” (Galatians 2:20 KJV).

You hate the Lord Jesus Christ, Steve, the One Who lives in us. You don’t keep His commandments, because you’re a lawless anti-Christ:

2 John 1:5-7 MKJV
(5)  And now I beseech you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
(6)  And this is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, as you heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it.
(7)  For many deceivers have entered into the world, who do not confess Jesus Christ coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the anti-Christ.

So keep your life and see what comes of it. You’ve already been tasting the bitter fruits, with much more to come.

“And He said to them, To you it is given to know the mystery of the Kingdom of God. But to those outside [i.e., Steve], all these things are given in parables so that seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them” (Mark 4:11-12 MKJV).

What you are is expressed by your every word, Steve. Just as Christ is the Word of God, so are you the word of man, the express image of corrupt flesh.

Yes, we won’t be getting your kind of life, thank God, so we might remain in His blessings.

Paul
