I’m pretty darn sure that John 1:12 and Revelation 3:20 prove that you are very wrong about this belief that you have about “accepting” Jesus.

Where specifically is a problem with anything said in our writings about the false version of “accepting” Jesus, Keith? Because there certainly isn’t any conflict between what we’ve written and John 1:12 and Revelation 3:20. Those and the Scriptures we cite are entirely consistent with one another and true. Rather than being “pretty darn sure,” you should readily admit you don’t understand what we’re saying, unless you wish to remain a Pharisee coming against the Lord:
“Jesus said to them, If you were blind, you would have no sin. But now you say, We see. Therefore your sin remains” (John 9:41 MKJV).
