Being Correct in All Teachings

I just stumbled onto your site this evening while searching Clayton Jennings. I read the article between yourselves, Allison and Clayton. Very discouraging.

I was not impressed with Clayton’s replies, but he is right, you know nothing about him, except reading his website.

I then went to the ‘false teachers’ page and was very surprised at the list of names there. I trust that by you openly judging all those people, you have done more research than you did with Mr. Jennings.

I am not endorsing Clayton Jennings, but if he is drawing people to Christ, then what is wrong with that?  I was taught, by Greg Laurie, who didn’t make your list, that we should not put our trust in any man, only The Lord. Man will let you down, every time.

It is the responsibility of the seekers of Christ to determine what is correct and what is not and get that knowledge from Him. The way they are lead to Him does not matter.

Another thing that has stuck with me, a dear friend of mine told me, we take in the information we receive from man, like eating a peach. You spit out the pit, right?  Same rule applies….no man can be 100% correct in all of his teachings, except one!!!

Respectfully,

Chris

“Do not judge according to sight, but judge righteous judgment” (John 7:24 MKJV).

Chris, does it not occur to you that while you find fault with us for addressing error and correcting others, you are doing that very thing with us?

What gives you the authority to correct us (or anyone else for that matter) when it comes to the things of the Kingdom of God? Are you an apostle, pastor, prophet, or teacher sent by the Lord Jesus Christ or are you simply giving us your opinion, your doctrinal perspective based on your intellectual understanding of the Scriptures and things in general?

Are you aware that there are many Jesuses preached and represented in the Name of the One and Only True Jesus Christ, some so convincing and close to the true that even the elect (chosen and learned) of God stand to be deceived?

What makes you so sure you can judge whether Clayton Jennings or we are right or wrong? How do you know we haven’t been called and commissioned by the Lord to judge men by righteous judgment (His revelation and understanding) as He has commanded, and not by judgment after the appearance as you may be doing – and are? You accuse us of having little or no substance in our judgment of Jennings. Do you really know?

You write, “Another thing that has stuck with me, a dear friend of mine told me, we take in the information we receive from man, like eating a peach. You spit out the pit, right?”

It’s interesting the way you put it. The problem is people think they’re eating peaches when eating something else, so it really doesn’t matter if they eat the pit or not, does it? As well, many can’t tell the difference between what should be swallowed and what should be rejected. Consider the millions of lost souls believing lies in nominal Christendom, orthodox or otherwise (Diabolical Doctrines and The True Marks of a Cult). What does that tell you?

And don’t you know that all it takes is a tiny portion of poison hidden in a sumptuous meal to destroy the eater? Or just a little yeast ruins everything? “Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?” (1 Corinthians 5:6 WEB)

So just how wise is your dear friend’s saying, after all?

You make the all too common claim, “No man can be 100% correct in all of his teachings, except one!!!

Is that so? Chris, that is a big, popular lie straight from the pits of hell, commonly believed by unbelievers and deceived unbelieving believers. What you’re doing by this lie is calling Jesus Christ a liar and selling Him short on His power to bring men to perfection and lead them into all truth, in this present age, here on earth – when and where they need it. He promised the Spirit of Truth would lead us into all truth (John 16:13). Our beloved brother John said the Lord’s anointing causes us to “know all things” (1 John 2:20, 27). He also said:

“I have not written to you because you don’t know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth” (1 John 2:21 WEB).

Chris, it’s a good thing to speak and learn something as a result, but is it good to speak as you do before you know what you’re talking about as though you “know all things”?

“If one answers a matter before he hears, it is folly and shame to him” (Proverbs 18:13 MKJV).

Clayton Jennings isn’t drawing men to Christ – he is drawing men to himself in the Name of Christ. Also read The Cross – Only the Death Sentence Will Avail.
