Do we not need fellowship with the other real believers?..to whom do we celebrate success with? where do let our children be baptized? who shall we call for in time of distress?

The Lord provides for His sheep, Edsel. Is He not their Shepherd?

“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21 KJV).

Read the writings I’ve sent you, and about Water Baptism.

You disagree with formal fellowship. What do you do then during your gathering? Where do you fellowship or gather? do you collect alms during your gathering?

The question is whether God allows polygamy, Edsel. It isn’t legal in our countries, and He is over that. As for having affairs, that is adultery or fornication, a sin against God and man.

I am in pain.I have wandered from at least 5 organized churches, actually attended some and have only read the writings or doctrine of others. I also left the religion where i have grown  8 years ago and been hopping to other churches looking for the truth. The Anglican Church, the religion of my mother. She is a Catechist in the church. A widow with 6 children, she was helped by this church to feed and send us to school. Am i ungrateful?

I am convinced and enlightened with your teachings. Naturally or as a results of my readings, i have some of your principles and practice them. Right now i have my own family and attends no church. I am still looking for the “close-to- the-truth-church” to have my family in. It is often a source of conflict between me and my wife, she don’t understand me. Ironically, when it comes to religious education offered by the Roman Catholic, my children are leading in their school. We have the Bible Friends for kids, the book sold by the Seventh Day Adventist, they love reading it.

The worse is, right now i am in an affair with a woman with a child. The father of her daughter refuse to support the child financially. This made me think that the consequence of this sin would not be too great for i can be of  helped to this woman financially and emotionally. I have been with my wife for 12 years now, with 3 kids and 7 months old son, but i have not felt this to my wife before.

It is magical, I love this woman. I don’t have a plan to ruin my family though and i made this clear to this woman whom she had willingly accepted. Having 2 wife here in our country is illegal, but almost all politicians and other well-to-do family have another family aside from their legal wife. My extra-marital is so alluring in my part. Right now, at 39 years old, i am leading a Public Secondary  School. This letter may ruin my profession if it will be known by my superiors/our government. please address me this two things; Is my extra-marital affair justified in the eye of God given the circumstances? And our not attending any church is being ridiculed by most in our community, how do we live a normal life, apart form this society judgement? I am in pain. Please help me. Thank you God for leading me to this site….

Hi Edsel,

You ask: “Is my extra-marital affair justified in the eye of God given the circumstances?

You write about this affair: “Right now i am in an affair with a woman with a child. The father of her daughter refuse to support the child financially. This made me think that the consequence of this sin would not be too great for i can be of  helped to this woman financially and emotionally.

You can’t offset the consequences of sin by doing something you consider helpful. Not only does God not accept substitutes or any kind of sacrifice for obedience, he abhors them. Note that for that very kind of treacherous thinking, King Saul lost his kingdom (I Samuel 15).

The only way to escape the death sentence of sin is to repent – stop sinning (breaking God’s Law). It is not right to take care of another woman and her child accompanied by an extra-marital arrangement with her, even if your wife agrees. God doesn’t agree – sin goes against His nature and laws. You will reap what you sow.

This is why you’re in pain. You’re in an unsustainable position that can only get worse, destroying everything around you and yourself without hope. Your “magical” love for this woman is a deadly mirage – it will kill you if you don’t move on to receive life-giving water.

Deal with this matter ruthlessly, Edsel. If you don’t cut off the sinful relationship, you’ll lose everything in the end. And avoiding the churches of men, the paths of the destroyer, won’t save you, because you’re already in his death grip.

Have you been reading the writings I’ve given you? Also read Repentance and Obedience.
