A Spirit of False Love Defends Todd White

Hello,

How are you?  I came across your site in searching Todd White’s name.  I don’t know anything about the other person you mentioned, Bill Schnoebelen, but I do know about Todd.  I do not believe he is a false teacher.  In personal experience and by viewing him, he truly ministers God’s love and tells about the freedom that Jesus wants people to have.  He does tell about love but it’s Love, which is God’s love.  He encounters people with the love of God but then tells them about the Jesus he has.  He flows with the Holy Spirit and possesses more boldness to minister Jesus than I have seen in most.  I do not worship him but I do respect him.  I appreciate him.  I hope to show God’s Love to people with just as much passion and boldness.

People get enough condemnation from Christians and looks of displeasure.  The Word says that people are won by our love for one another and people come to repentance by the mercy of God.  I know when God lovely corrects me, it makes me want to come to Him all the more because I know that He loves me.

I truly sense the Holy Spirit in listening to Todd and seeing the passion of Christ on him brings me to tears and draws me more to God, not Todd.  In my opinion, he is not glorifying himself but the God who saved him.    I’m sorry that you see him this way and I hope that before you condmen your fellow brothers/sisters in Christ, you really seek God’s wisdoma nd the Holy Spirit’s leading.  We get enough of downing one another.  Pray for him if you believe he is wrong or off in any way.  Love him as Christ loves you and go to war for your brothers/sisters so that their eyes may be open and any false way falls from them.

You mentioned him asking for money but if it is for the Gospel, I am not certain how thatis inappropriate.  He spends money and travels to various locations and ministers the Gospel.  When I think of this, I think of Galatians 6:6.  I am truly trying to understand your logic so please, if there is something that Todd has said that is against the Word of God or Jesus, please post it.

I just wanted to share my thoughts and heart and I pray that you take them in love.

Much love,
Jam

Hi Jam,

Listen to what you’re saying:

I do not believe he is a false teacher… I truly sense the Holy Spirit in listening to Todd… In my opinion, he is not glorifying himself but the God who saved him.

On the other hand, we don’t believe Todd is a false teacher; we know that he is. We aren’t going by what we sense, but by what God has made known and confirmed. It isn’t our opinion that Todd is glorifying himself – it’s the truth from God.

You’re following a false Jesus, Jam, in the spirit of False Love – Satan’s Last Stronghold.

Rick Warren is another false teacher: The Purpose Driven Life: Promoting Christianity Without Christ.

As for Todd White’s salvation, our hope and belief is that all men will ultimately be saved, receiving faith and repentance from God, he and Rick Warren included.
