Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. I just want to encourage you to pray and search the scriptures in regards to the following statement from article: “The doctrine of endless terrible torment has no origin in truth and reality, whether in this world or any other.”

Here’s what the Bible says.

“They will be punished with EVERLASTING destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might.” 2 Thessalonians 1:9

“Then they will go away to ETERNAL punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” Matthew 25:26

“In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of ETERNAL fire.” Jude 1:7

Syreeta, we know what the Bible says. The problem here is that you’ve misunderstood what the Bible says.

Read all the writings in The Restitution of All Things, starting with The True, Scriptural Meanings of “Forever,” “Everlasting,” and “Hell”.

You will find your notions of God’s Word are very mistaken, to your delight if your heart is after the truth. But if you have other gods and prefer serving yourself, then you won’t hear Him or see His goodness.

Thanks for sharing that!  I read those articles, and I will be praying that the Holy Spirit reveals the truth to me.  In return, I hope that you will pray that God searches and changes your heart because if I weren’t a believer and already in love with Jesus, your response below would definitely turn me off to the Gospel. How arrogant to say “we know what the Bible says.” The scribes and Pharisees also knew the Bible quite well, but they didn’t know Jesus. I don’t know you, but based on your response, I encourage you to allow God to speak to you through His word, fasting, and prayer. Maybe it’s just difficult to receive criticism of any sort, but if that’s the case, then God needs to do a work in you to be able to receive and respond to criticism in a way that glorifies Him.

One more thing…in regards to forever, it seems like it’s easy to argue that Hell is not forever, but I wonder if you would make the same argument about Heaven.  Also, what about the fact that God is an eternal judge, the alpha and omega? Just consider how the word in that sense relates to His definition of eternity.

Have a Merry Christmas!

How arrogant to say ‘we know what the Bible says.’

How is it arrogant to state the truth, Syreeta, regarding that which the Lord has done and granted us?

Colossians 1:9-13 MKJV
(9)  For this cause we also, since the day we heard, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,
(10)  that you might walk worthy of the Lord to all pleasing, being fruitful in every work and increasing in the knowledge of God,
(11)  being empowered with all power, according to the might of His glory, to all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness,
(12)  giving thanks to the Father, Who has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.
(13)  For He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son;

“Be diligent to show yourself approved unto God, a worker unashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth” (2 Timothy 2:15 EMTV).

This we have shown with ample evidence, but you have shown the opposite of yourself. You open your mouth wide in ignorance and impudence, thinking to know so much when you know nothing.

There is an end to death and hell in the Lake of Fire, but God’s Kingdom never ends. Your present condition won’t continue indefinitely. The Lord Jesus Christ does indeed put every enemy under His feet.

Have a Merry Christmas!”? More of your ignorant impudence.

That Devilish Spirit of Christmas
