You ask the question in your heart if the name matters. I can testify to you that if you are willing to test the truth it will be revealed to you. Luke 10:19 And those seventy whom he had sent returned with great joy and they were saying to him, “Our Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name.”
In whose Name do the demons flee? In which Name has been given the power and Authority over unclean spirits? Do you know? Have you seen? Would you be able to recognize and see for yourselves the real Power in the name of our Master Yahshua as the demons are cast out ONLY in that name? Test the Truth. Cry out to Jesus Christ and then cry out to Yahshua the Messiah for deliverance in a demon possessed soul, and see Which spirit will answer your pleas. Then the answer will be delivered to you in faith as a witness to the spoken word of YAH.
1 Kings 18:24 And call you on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the YAH: YHWH and the God that answers by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.
Deuteronomy 4:24 For the YHWH your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Do you really think so, Collete? Haven't you heard it's wrong and foolish to assume things? What makes you think we haven't exercised authority over devils in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ? Do you surely know and if they've had to obey us or not? DO YOU KNOW? You presume to talk like you do.
The Lord Jesus Christ, Whose Hebrew Name is Yeshua (or Yehoshua) HaMashiach, is with us and we're with Him, unlike the sons of Sceva. And you, as they, think you can use His Name in the original tongue and it will be effective, like some magical incantation. That's sorcery - you need to repent.
