(This is an archived correspondence at The Path of Truth. We have sent notification to the correspondent.)

To whomever,
As I searched the internet to find information on an author, your web page came up regarding this certain author. So I began to read some things on your web site and was a bit disturbed.

I do not wish to debate with you what scripture means on this subject or that, with this person or that, because the truth is the truth and man will give his own opinion of what that truth is. Man also takes scripture out of context.

It does make me gasp as I read how you speak of others as if the LORD has given you special graces to judge each man. Those writing on the web page have spent such great deal of time researching the persons they are writing about, it makes one wonder how much time is actually invested in their own relationship with the LORD.

The LORD did specifically say to those who were busy doing for Him, “away from Me I never knew you”. And in reading the writings posted on your web page, I wondered if you really knew Him and more importantly if He really knew you.

How sad to have such a large measuring stick. How sad to have a beam in your own eye. A man of true repentance doesn't need to look at others' shortcomings, because his eyes are always on the LORD and if your eyes are always on the LORD you're not looking anywhere else. Your web site tells me you have horizontal vision, and not vertical vision.

Anita,

Your letter is riddled with judgmentalism, contradiction, and hypocrisy. You say, “A man of true repentance doesn't need to look at others' shortcomings, because his eyes are always on the LORD and if your eyes are always on the LORD you're not looking anywhere else.

You mean as in:

Matthew 23:13-35 MKJV
(13) “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven against men. For you neither go in, nor do you allow those entering to go in.
(14) Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows' houses, and pray at length as a pretense. Therefore you shall receive the greater condemnation.
(15) Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you compass sea and the dry land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, you make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
(16) Woe to you, blind guides, saying, 'Whoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor.'
(17) Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifies the gold?
(18) And, 'Whoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is a debtor'!
(19) Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift?
(20) Therefore whoever shall swear by the altar swears by it, and by all things on it.
(21) And whoever shall swear by the temple, swears by it and by Him Who dwells in it.
(22) And he who shall swear by Heaven swears by the throne of God, and by Him Who sits on it.
(23) Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithes of mint and dill and cummin, and you have left undone the weightier matters of the Law, judgment, mercy, and faith. You ought to have done these and not to leave the other undone.
(24) Blind guides who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!
(25) Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of extortion and excess.
(26) Blind Pharisee! First cleanse the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that the outside of them may be clean also.
(27) Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which indeed appear beautiful outside, but inside they are full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
(28) Even so you also appear righteous to men outwardly, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
(29) Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets, and decorate the tombs of the righteous,
(30) and say, 'If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.'
(31) Therefore you are witnesses to yourselves, that you are the sons of those who killed the prophets;
(32) and you fill up the measure of your fathers.
(33) Serpents! Offspring of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?
(34) Therefore, behold, I send prophets and wise men and scribes to you. And you will kill and crucify some of them. And some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city;
(35) so that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah the son of Berachiah, whom you killed between the temple and the altar.”

You say, “How sad to have such a large measuring stick.

Really? What if it's the Lord's measuring stick?

“Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew My people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” (Isaiah 58:1 KJV)

You say, “...the truth is the truth and man will give his own opinion of what that truth is. Man also takes scripture out of context.

So you don't given your opinion of what truth is, and you don't take Scripture out of context, seeing you are a woman who presumes to speak in authority over men, contrary to the Law (and grace of God in Christ)?

Those writing on the web page have spent such great deal of time researching the persons they are writing about, it makes one wonder how much time is actually invested in their own relationship with the LORD.

I will first answer you as a man on this one. Is 30 years enough time for preparation to learn the truth and to speak it?

Now I will answer you as a man of God: Time isn't of the essence when God moves a man to speak, just as Samuel as a young child was prepared to speak to Eli God's Word of Judgment (1 Samuel 3).

How sad to have a beam in your own eye.

So, do you see clearly, Anita? Just who do you think you are, and how much do you presume to know? Do you really know the Lord, and “more importantly, does He know you”?

It does make me gasp as I read how you speak of others as if the LORD has given you special graces to judge each man.

Indeed, He has done so, and the task is not an easy one, but we do delight to do His will. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, He says He doesn't know you.

If I didn't know Him already, after your note I wouldn't want to know Him. Your “Jesus” is without love and grace. Don't bother responding I won't read it.

You certainly mustn't know the Jesus I quoted then, Anita. He happens to be THE One, and you're right that you don't know Him.

If you're ever to enter the Kingdom of God, you need to cease looking for people to appease you in your sins with drools, words of sympathy, sweet-sick smiles and instead, repent of your sin and submit yourself to His cross, rod and whip. The Cross - Only the Death Sentence Will Avail; the ice cream parlor never will suffice. Your down comforter has smothered you. You need the Up Comforter to raise you from the dead.

Victor

Paul here, Anita. You come against the Lord's example and instructions by denying the need for open identification of false teachers and their pernicious ways that bind unwitting believers in death and hell. Why do you think He publicly rebuked the scribes and Pharisees, for example, as Victor quoted you and you rejected out of hand?

“Take heed, and beware the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees” (Matthew 16:6 MKJV).

But you would have people ingest the leaven and die with you rather than see them freed by the Lord. Are you not, as described by Paul to Timothy, a silly woman laden with sins, ever learning and never coming to a knowledge of The Truth, the Lord Jesus Christ? So go on then and destroy yourself, if that's what you choose. The Lord holds you accountable for the truth you've heard here and you'll know in due time.

I have not read any of your people's responses. They go into the delete file. STOP sending emails. I know you are a cult and you don't know anything about Jesus. By the way, my name is NOT Anita. I happen to be using a relatives computer with email.

I happen to be here at the moment. MJ, you are one sad lady, whoever you are or whatever your name is. You are fearful, irrational, illogical, accusatory...name it. That's what sin does to one, with worse to come. Walk away and we'll leave you alone to your devices. Remember, you started this.
