Like Dennison, I really like the chorus. It's stuck in my head too. I also like the lyrics. The last verse speaks of Israel, yeah? Come to think of it, the whole song is about Israel, yes?

What inspired you to write this song, Oneil? What was happening to you around that time?

Denison that was a very quiet time in my life, I was mostly reading at TPOT. There was this young lady I liked at the time, one Wednesday evening in Feb she invited me to this gospel concert that was taking place in the park. Normally I would just shut down any one who would invite me to anything with the name gospel attached to it, this time however I went. I didn't participate in the concert I sat at one end of the park while the concert took place on the main stage close to the other side of the park. By the time she had return I wrote {I shall stand). The concept or inspiration was simple. The Lord said Israel shall stand and I believe.
