Movie: Israel - An Eternal Miracle
Re: Movie: Israel - An Eternal Miracle
Great stories. I like the one about the female spy the most. The first one about the Lord blowing away the dirt to reveal the landmines. Powerful.
"Just believe." Amen.
All miracles. Thank You, Lord.

Actually, the last story was pretty intense. A miracle.

Yes, miracles indeed.
Shula Cohen, a married woman with 6 children which she forsook to do what was right.
Though she suffered horrific acts (her feet nailed, no food or water, tied, hung upside down & repeatedly whipped, other things "I cannot dare to speak of that they have done to me"), her prayer to God was:
"God, please, help me. Give me the strength to show that we are Jews, not animals. Give me the force to pass this one more trial."
And He did.
She did not pray for God to get her out of it...but to get her through it.
Now that in itself, is a miracle.
In the end, she says, "Whatever I did was not for Shula Cohen. I did if for Israel...for God."
Is that not faith?
