"The worship of God is the most unnatural thing there is.

The Lord has laws of worship. He chooses the time, the place, the company and the way. You, according to common ignorance, think you can worship God anywhere and in any way you choose. How foolish! How presumptuous! Think of it! Since when did you have the right or the wisdom to call the shots as to worshipping your Creator? On this the Scriptures are clear: You must find out what God specifically requires before offering and worshipping at all, but especially before doing so according to the dictates and foolish notions of men. Otherwise, you bring damnation upon your head.
"

How does your above statement fit or come togehter with the Samuritan woman at the well?

John 4:22-24 (King James Version)

Victor replied:

Hi Don,

No truer words were spoken than, “The worship of God is the most unnatural thing there is.” This is most certainly true for the dead man - and all men are dead without Jesus Christ’s gift of life.

Since the Fall of man, when he chose to disobey God and follow the serpent’s advice, it has been anything BUT natural to worship God. In fact, it is impossible. The record shows that from the moment Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge, they were fearful accusers, refusing to honor God, and seeking to place the blame for their disobedience other than where it belonged. Death and hell came on them, even as God had warned would happen if they disobeyed Him.

Now with pleasure, I answer your question about the Samaritan woman at the well. It’s a curious thing you should choose her of all people in the Scriptures because she ideally proves our statement. It was to that very woman that Jesus said:

“You worship what you do not know, we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews” (John 4:22 MKJV).

Here was a woman who was not worshipping God as she thought. But when the Light and Savior of all men, Jesus Christ, quickened her from the dead with the Spoken Truth, she entered true worship. In that new life, she began to joyously proclaim to her people the Light she had received. In that new life, worship of God became perfectly natural for her and for her companions.

“Salvation is of the Jews,” said Jesus. Who is a Jew? The apostle Paul makes that clear:

“For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that outwardly in flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart; in spirit and not in letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God” (Romans 2:28-29 MKJV).

An uncircumcised heart hates God; a circumcised heart loves and worships Him. Now, which are you, Don? Are you dead and in hell, still a child of the serpent, or are you alive and tasting Heaven as a born-again, redeemed son of God, full of peace, joy, and right doing and thinking? We know the answer. Do you?

Do you hear the invitation from above to rise up as you lay in your grave? When will be your time to live again?
