Your testimony gives me hope in Christ Jesus

(This is an archived correspondence at The Path of Truth. We have sent notification to the correspondent.)

Dear Victor,

I just wanted to let you know that your testimony gives me hope in Christ Jesus. I just don't know where to start and I will try and be brief. I am a 46 year old man that has failed at being a single parent of my son for the past 10 + year. The first 13 years of my life my mother took me and my brother to a Missionary Baptist Church.

In 1982, we moved to the location that we live at now (10 acres built my house in 2000 on the same property). My mid teenage years were mostly doing well in school and playing sports. My early 20's upon finishing college I spent two years stoned with one of my catholic friends that lived next to me.

During those years even while sober or high we would have discussions about our views on God. I would give him a hard time about his belief in purgatory, etc and he would try and give grief back. Those were years of bar hopping and fornication to name just a few sins. At age 25 a started dating my sons future mother, married her after 5 years and on that same year our son was born. She divorced me 5 years later and with a feel of God's Grace I was granted custody of our son.

During those ten years we were heavily involved with a Southern Baptist Church we joined. At the age of 26, in that Church I was Baptized by water. I taught a young couples class for most of that time and we were heavily involved with the youth. It was a place of real love and good people, we tried counseling and I held on taking my son to church for around that last year of marriage when she made it clear daily she wanted out.

The first 3 or 4 years I was thankful to the Lord for granting me custody of my son and we visited and went regularly to two other Southern Baptist Churches. Then I fell into depression over a failed relationship I thought was “the one”. So I spent 4 years drinking in my garage while my son stayed in his room playing games and on laptop.

I am a professional driver and I look back on those times how the Lord protected me from bad wrecks, getting arrested DWI, etc. In the meantime I was failing my son in bringing him up in the manner the Lord decrees. Oct 13 2012 while driving on my route I decided and gave up alcohol.

That next August, due to my son being bullied in a public school and also wanted to try and live with his mother he decided to do homeschooling at her house. Within two months he was back at home, due to a raging fight at his mothers (who is remarried with two young children).

Due to my failures over the last 7 or more years things have come upon my son. He saw the youtube of Westoboro Baptist Church a place I believe is not in the will of God. My son has always had a loving heart but the last year and half he cusses God and three months ago was diagnosed with genetic epilepsy. In which no one on either side of his family has ever had.

Even while I attended the churches that I did I always believed that the gifts of the Spirit were still here - to me that Perfect in Corinthians means when we see Our Lord face to face. I try to always be thankful for many things the Lord has done, my son as only had 6 seizures, every one of them in the morning 7:30 give or take a few minutes, He has kept him from being seriously injured and kept him from death.

The scripture “many are called few are Chosen” has always stirred me up. Your website has confirmed some things inside me- we do not accept God, HE CHOOSES US! I look back on my life and there is no one that I have ever wanted to see spend their time in eternal damnation. In Paul's writings Romans 9:3 has at times literally brought me to tears. I pray to the Lord Almighty that my son Zachery is one of His Chosen.

Sincerely,
Mark

Hi Mark!

I'm thankful to hear that the report of what the Lord has done with me gives you hope. That's why it's recorded and published.

All we have failed, one way or another. The One Who never fails has come to deliver us from our shortfalls and destructives. We have perfect reason to hope in Him. There is nobody and nowhere else to place our trust with genuine satisfaction.

As to election, there's a time for every man to come to salvation, whether in this life or the next. This isn't Catholic or Southern Baptist doctrine (I've been of both denominations), but it is the True Doctrine of Jesus Christ, The Good News indeed. God is Perfect, His will is Perfect, His power is Perfect and all His work is Perfect (working both good and evil for good). His end will also be Perfect; there can be no other way. We know these things to be Perfectly True, finding confirmation in the Scriptures and in all of life.

You have your time and your son his, as do all, your ex included.

I don't believe your son's problem is genetic at all. It is a condition of his heart/spirit that has affected him through and through, body, soul and spirit. As you've said, Mark, sad but the reality, your son has been affected by your ways:

Due to my failures over the last 7 or more years things have come upon my son. He saw the youtube of Westoboro Baptist Church a place I believe is not in the will of God.

Westboro is a sad affair, a concoction of men and not a congregation of God. God has nothing to do with it.

As Zachery hears and receives the Truth, he will be cleansed and healed of his condition. It's nothing that can be forced on him. God has His time and way. Have faith in God and patience with your son.

Victor,

I thank you for responding to my letter. I have to realize that ALL of the Truths in the Word of God are true. Even the fact of total reconciliation should be a comfort to all. But the sadness of anyone, myself or my son spending whatever period of time ordained in hell is a saddening state. I know the Lord shows no favor to no man.

I feel at utter despair right now. I probably misunderstand the scriptures of “ the Lord could not find anyone to stand in the gap”. I pray each evening that my son, myself and those that I love will see the morning light. I try and thank God every morning for seeing the morning light. I fear even putting the word death in this letter to you, the passing of my son in this state I cannot see myself bearing. I know and have been asking him to remove nicotine from me. I also continually ask him to please reveal to me other changes that need to take place in me to please Him.

My son is scheduled to see his sleep doctor next Thursday, he doesn't know yet, but he will either need a cpap machine or surgery. He has partial apnea and his arousal states per hour are 28.6 when 10 is normal. I know my son nor I deserve anything from God. All I can do is plead for his Mercy and Grace and hope for His touching and healing of my son's soul, spirit, and body.

Sincerely,

Mark

Mark, please pay attention to the truths already spoken to you, which if you believed, would not permit you to go into desperation. Read my letter to you again, three times, being attentive to every sentence, phrase, and word. You have cause for true hope in spite of your sinful past.

Yet, I understand that all must suffer the tormenting fires of consequence and regret for rebellion and disobedience, for breaking God's Law, for despising and rejecting Him. That is the nature of sin. Read the following Words of God by Isaiah very carefully and know they are true. They apply to every sinner that ever lived, and we have all been sinners, cut from the same cloth, branches of the same tree, sinful flesh:

Isaiah 53:3-12 MKJV
(3) He is despised and rejected of men; a Man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as it were a hiding of faces from Him, He being despised, and we esteemed Him not.
(4) Surely He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
(5) But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on Him; and with His stripes we ourselves are healed.
(6) All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, each one to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
(7) He was oppressed, and He was afflicted; yet He opened not His mouth. He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a sheep before its shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth.
(8) He was taken from prison and from judgment; and who shall declare His generation? For He was cut off out of the land of the living; for the transgression of My people He was stricken.
(9) And He put His grave with the wicked, and with a rich one in His death; although He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth.
(10) Yet it pleased the LORD to crush Him; to grieve Him; that He should put forth His soul as a guilt-offering. He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the will of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.
(11) He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul. He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify for many; and He shall bear their iniquities.
(12) Therefore I will divide to Him with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong; because He has poured out His soul to death; and He was counted among the transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for transgressors.

To reject God is for a branch to reject the tree or the fish its water. Rejecting God is rejecting life.

That said, this is not a matter of chance, Mark. God chastens, punishes, disciplines and...restores. He is our Savior. From what? From the very thing you're talking about - sin. The Scriptures clearly declare that in the fullness of times (plural) Jesus Christ will redeem all men; He will reconcile all things to Himself, including you and your son.

Sin brings death and hell, which is where you are, but Jesus Christ has overcome death by His resurrection, not only for Himself but for us all. If He can raise men from the dead as He did Lazarus and even Himself, we know He can do all things and has done them. You need to believe; that is what He requires of you.

It's one thing to care for your son, but it's another to care for him more than you care for God Who created you both. You need to realize He decides who is chosen at any time. It's not for you to determine the course of any soul, not yours, not your son's.

You need to realize that though you've been a sinner, Jesus Christ has come for just such as you. You've been a perpetrator, and He has come to deliver perpetrators. That's why you're now here; don't ignore Him any more.

You've been your own victim. Jesus Christ has come to save perpetrators from themselves. Yes, you've been negligent, irresponsible, implacable, ignorant, stubborn, rebellious, immoral, proud and stupid...all those things. You've been a wicked man. So have I, and He saved me.

Stop feeling sorry for yourself and your son and begin to believe the Lord and have Him replace both your righteousness AND unrighteousness with HIS Righteousness. That's what it's all about. But He must do it. All you can do is to believe on Him; acknowledge Him; trust Him; commit your way to Him.

No, the Lord could find no man to fill the gap between man and God and so He has provided a Man, Himself in the flesh, His Own Arm to save us - Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God to take away our sins. Without His sacrifice in blood, no man has hope; with Him, all men have hope.

Nicotine is not an issue, nor are others addictions or bad habits you've been enslaved by. The issue is you; it is faith; it is to believe on Him. That's it. In due time, He'll give you deliverance and power to obey and forsake all things that harm and kill and destroy. He has already performed the work of your salvation, even before this earth was formed.

Are you reading at our site? You need to be. We preach His Truth, which makes us free. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10). You need faith. Get reading His Word and stop perishing in unbelief.

Did you know that unbelief is your only enemy?

Victor,

Yes I was reading your website for several weeks before I emailed you. It is eye opening in some aspects, but everything you have there is clearly backed by the Scriptures. It would be great to chat with you and Paul and others that see the Truth. Do I need to register at the Forum to do so?? I have read so many areas, but the letter Paul started with the Jewish man was very sad from the gentleman refusing to see the Truth.

Sincerely,

Mark

Hi Mark,

Yes, I think it would be good for you to join us in our chat on the Sabbath (Saturdays). Contact Sara and she'll give you the details; simple enough.

What Jewish man are you talking about? We've corresponded with many.

Victor,

I greatly appreciate the invite on Saturdays. It took me a while to find it again, Mr. Ayal. I ended up reading almost every word of the correspondence between you three. It is sad for the fact this is one of God's Chosen and he cannot consider the fact that the Messiah has already been here once. The Perfection of God makes sense in your explanation of and through scripture of “all things will be reconciled to Him”. And your clarity that hell is never mentioned as “eternal” and if I read write that the Lake of Fire the second death. I know I need to re-read the several writings on this. Revelation 20:15???

I try and be as honest with the Lord in all things, and I do believe He is in total charge of all things. I will keep asking Him to grant me a burning desire to constantly read His Word. I want to have that desire granted by Him to worship in Spirit and Truth.

Sincerely,

Mark

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6 MKJV).

Mark, how are you? Do you realize there's perfect reason to hope in your Creator and that He always comes through for those earnestly looking to Him? He's Real, Present, Faithful and True.

Victor

Mark, Paul here. Have you red The Great Promise of the Lake of Fire and the Second Death ?

Also, if you have any questions about registering at the forum, Sara can help you. It's very easy to do.

Victor,

I hope things are well with you all. I still read and study the Path of Truth. I believe the scriptures you share on God being in total control. Could you expound on what the Lord means exactly from the Word on “binding and loosing” by His authority. I ask God for discernment on anything I read or watch. This Dwain Miller (ministries) our of Eldorado Arkansas. Is doing a series on Covenant, taking the Dominion we were given etc.

“And I will give the keys of the kingdom of Heaven to you. And whatever you may bind on earth shall occur, having been bound in Heaven, and whatever you may loose on earth shall occur, having been loosed in Heaven.” (Matthew 16:19 MKJV)

Hi Mark,

I went to http://www.dwainmiller.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. You're on the wrong track altogether. Read Diabolical Doctrines and The True Marks of a Cult, attentively, even repeatedly, and if you believe what we preach, by God's grace, you'll see that the sooner you withdraw from Dwain's and other such influences, the better. We leave it with the Lord to answer your prayer for discernment.

To answer your question on binding and loosing, Jesus Christ came in the power of the Spirit of the Father without measure (John 3:34) to speak the Word of judgment. Anointing His disciples in His Spirit, they carry in His work to do the same.

That judgment is to defeat the powers of darkness, promote righteousness in the earth and to bring all things under the rule of the Kingdom of Heaven. This is the day for the Kingdom of Heaven to replace men's kingdoms:

“And in the days of these kings, the God of Heaven shall set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed. And the kingdom shall not be left to other peoples, but it shall crush and destroy all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.” (Daniel 2:44 MKJV)

His Word binds evil and looses good. It stops the workers of iniquity, rendering them powerless and empowers the workers of righteousness.

His Word cleanses men of devils and stops evil in its tracks. Devils are rendered impotent to practice their evil influence with men. Men are loosed from the grip of sin and evil to worship the Father in spirit and truth and honor good in all things.

All saints are granted the heritage of Jesus Christ. They are His Body on earth, granted to have the same power He had and to be doing even greater works than He did when He walked the earth in His own flesh.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, He who believes on Me, the works that I do he shall do also, and greater works than these he shall do, because I go to My Father.” (John 14:12 MKJV)

“As You have sent Me into the world, even so I have sent them into the world.” (John 17:18 MKJV)

John 20:21-23 MKJV
(21) Then Jesus said to them again, Peace to you. As My Father has sent Me, even so I send you.
(22) And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit.
(23) Of whomever sins you remit, they are remitted to them. Of whomever sins you retain, they are retained.

Matthew 28:18-20 MKJV
(18) And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority is given to Me in Heaven and in earth.
(19) Therefore go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
(20) teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the world. Amen.

Warning: Men can't presume to exercise the power of binding and loosing at will, as so many presume to do, especially the so-called “prosperity preachers” like Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Creflo Dollar, Joseph Prince, Joyce Meyers, the “Kansas City prophets,” and hundreds of others along with their proselytes. Those are presumptuous preachers who make merchandise of people in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The anointing and power is the Lord's, not man's, just as He taught His disciples:

“Then Jesus answered and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, The Son can do nothing of Himself but what He sees the Father do. For whatever things He does, these also the Son does likewise” (John 5:19 MKJV).

We, as believers in Christ, seek and express the will of God, not our own:

“I can do nothing of My own self. As I hear, I judge, and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of the Father Who has sent Me” (John 5:30 MKJV).

See God Is Sovereign: Man Is Presumptuous.

Mark, it also came to me in the night to mention to you that the walk of faith is not about doctrine or getting all the prevailing doctrine in nominal Christendom established in mind, as though that will save you. No, the walk of faith is far simpler. It's a matter of looking to, and putting your heart trust in the Risen, Present, Living Lord Jesus Christ and obeying Him in everyday matters, step by step, matter by matter. In essence, it's all about submitting to, and confessing Him as Lord of all.

“But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness, so your thoughts should be corrupted from the simplicity due to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 11:3 MKJV)

Thanks Victor and Paul for the clarity, I have read parts of diabolical doctrines like many other topics on your website. I do hope that many of these “preachers” I have seen over the years are drawn to repentance by the Holy Spirit. I know you guys deal with ALOT of correspondence. Just like Happy Caldwell here in Little Rock on VTN, it saddens me when he refers to his friends like Kenneth Hagan (the one that does this “holy laughter” that i truly believe angers the Lord.

The scripture” His word never comes back void” if I got that right, can that pertain to even these type of preachers especially like people myself that pray for discernment when they hear anyone talking about the Word of God???

Thanks again,

Mark

Hi Mark,

If you're asking whether God's Word will eventually bear fruit with phony preachers, the parable of the sower applies. Some seed takes root and bears fruit; some doesn't. But there will come a time when instead of being eaten by birds or destroyed by the heat of the sun, or landing on rocky ground, the seed will find fertile soil, take root and reproduce. God has predestined that all men will be saved in the end, even if for a time or times, they serve as vessels of dishonor.

Happy Caldwell is a messenger of the beastly system deceiving and enslaving the masses. He is a member of the harlot, Mystery, Babylon the Great... nice, friendly guy, but a “useful idiot,” as Muslims call naive westerners who defend Islam to their own destruction.

Happy has been associated with Kenneth Copeland and so many other wicked men who lie and deceive, with truths declared, misapplied and mingled with falsehood, making merchandise of multitudes. And the horrid part is that they do so in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Of these, Jesus instructed:

“Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted up. Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” (Matthew 15:13-14 MKJV)

But Mark, the truly good news is that Jesus Christ will ultimately redeem all men, including these mentioned. Read The Good News.

Will they get away with anything or get a free ride? Not at all. Otherwise, where would be God's justice? Read The Most Foolish of Questions and The Purpose of Evil.

Keep on, Mark; you believe on and serve a Mighty God and Savior Who will restore all things to the state in which He declared that all He had created He beheld and said it was very good (Genesis 1:31)

That is his Character, Strength, Ability and Will.

Victor

Victor,

Thanks again for the response. I have read all of those teaching you listed probably all more than once. Being raised Missionary Baptist till 13 and then for years in Southern Baptist I know that such revelation that your site shows is hard at times to totally conceive, BUT I also believe that when the Lord says “all” that is what he truly means, along with every other word. At times I watch Endtimes Ministries with Irvin Baxter. And just watch for the fact or the Scriptures he talks about and the excitement of the Lord's Return. I know that he might have several issues you can deal with. At least he states for years he preached pre-tribulation rapture but now believes in Post Tribulation. Even though he states from scripture things like “the Lord will save the tents of Judah first,” and the “Lord will save ALL of Israel.” He probably too still believes that some will perish forever. I have never put any thought into bible codes etc. So things like when he mentions Daniel 7:4 thinking Daniel foresaw the United States independence from Great Britain and mentioned humorously that God made it verse 7/4 aka July 4th.

Anyway I always appreciate you and Paul responding to my questions. Paul sent me his last email after emailing the day before with you - for the fact he felt moved to tell me more the next morning. I have always believed God gives prophetic advise through his servants to others. It would be great to talk to or meet you gentlemen someday.

Sincerely,

Mark
And yes still reading your teachings. My hope is still the only hell me or my son will partake of is right here on Earth!

Hi Mark,

People have spent millions of days studying, discussing, and preaching error about a rapture and timing of it. It is all pure nonsense. Irvin Baxter is part of the system of thought and practice and darkness of Mystery, Babylon the Great, nominal orthodox Christianity. Many try to gather disciples to themselves with this “Endtime Ministry” schtick. These are all false prophets and teachers.

Preaching rapture and a “second coming,” debating about the timing of a tribulation, and putting these matters in an historical context rather than an internal spiritual one are abominable practices. This is primarily because they distract people from the Ever-Present Person of the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior Who would have us believe on and know Him here and now. To focus on His “coming” is to tell the lie that He isn't here; it is a substitute for focusing on Him. It is a diversion tactic of the enemy; it is idolatry.

I have gone through the fires of tribulation, and I have been raptured. These things must transpire within for every believer.

No man enters the Kingdom of God without passing through the fires. John said everyone must be baptized with the Holy Spirit AND fire, and Jesus said, every man will be salted with fire (Mark 9:49), and Paul and Barnabas went about the congregations teaching them that with much tribulation we must enter the Kingdom (Acts 14:22). I know this by doctrine, by the Scriptures and by experience. There's no other way.

Hell is real, both in this world and the one to come. The best we can do is to believe and obey today:

“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow; for tomorrow shall be anxious for its own things. Sufficient to the day is the evil of it.” (Matthew 6:34 MKJV)

Doing that, all will turn out well in everything of concern to you, Mark.
