the urantia book?
Ive read this book that discusses a lot of topics that are on this site too. It explains them in a way that makes sense to me. I read a lot of papers on this site and victors story and I noticed there are questions that they dont know the answer to. But If it wasnt for this site I never could have read this book with an open mind. Its a 2000 page book and controversial. Most people who reject it havent read it. And if you read half it might be worse because of our preconceived ideas. My point is ,are there people who read this book here and what is your view on it?

Re: the urantia book?
We answered another correspondent about the Urantia last year. Here is the portion:
The Urantia Book is essentially no different from A Course in Miracles, both from the pits of Hell.
Here are two major lies in The Urantia Book, for example.
One: There’s no mention of the cross (much less the preaching of it), the one thing that differentiates the True Gospel revealed to Paul from all other gospels.
1 Corinthians 1:17-24 MKJV
(17) For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the Gospel; not in wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.
(18) For the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those being lost, but to us being saved, it is the power of God.
(19) For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will set aside the understanding of the perceiving ones.”
(20) Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the lawyer of this world? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
(21) For since, in the wisdom of God, the world by wisdom did not know God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save those who believe.
(22) For the Jews ask for a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom;
(23) but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness.
(24) But to them, the called-out ones, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
Two: The Urantia Book presents God as “the Trinity,” discrete and separate entities, each one supposedly being “God” with different capabilities. For example, the book says, “The Eternal Son cannot contact directly with human beings as does the Father through the gift of the prepersonal Thought Adjusters.” This is blasphemous nonsense. Who spoke to Saul on the road to Damascus?
“And he [Saul] said, Who are You, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus Whom you persecute” (Acts 9:5 MKJV).
The more traditional “Trinity” doctrine is the likely source from which such devious errors are concocted by devils to confound and lead men astray. See The Asininity of the Trinity and Jesus Christ, Almighty God.
Overall, The Urantia Book is highly intellectual and pretentious, hallmarks of man’s diabolical cleverness and not the simplicity in Christ... Read The Narrow vs. the Wide Way. [END]
The Truth isn't about knowledge, Moria, it's about the Person of God, Jesus Christ, and His personal requirements of us.
