Here’s the son of a preacher who plays Jesus Christ on stage, while offstage he plays a preacher, though claiming he’s still “a messed up guy” (from his website – ClaytonJennings.com). Don’t let the false humility fool you. The “aw shucks” posturing only covers over the arrogance of the man of sin, who pretends, by his knowledge, to be up to the job of playing God. This is the destroyer come in the flesh, a consummate liar. An actor, indeed!

I'm disappointed in what your spreading about Jennings

(This is an archived correspondence at The Path of Truth. We have sent notification to the correspondent.)

I came across this article and I have to say that I'm disappointed in what your spreading about jennings. He has never said follow me he has he has always gave the glory to God. Have you Heard his testimony?
I bet maybe if you did you would think oh he's false. His testimony is also wrong. You judge him but you don't know him. Just because he's apart of the younger generation and he has a different style that speaks to so many of us! He's real!

He preaches out of a bibles he doesn't speak without one. His hearts on fire for God and has helped so many understand who the son of God is. His love for God is contagious! Have you seen his confessions video? Or jesus till I die? Or the problem with the church? There's so much good material that glorifies God. His stuff shows how much jesus loves us I pray that you don't become so judge mental I also hope that God will soften your heart because I really think your being judgmental.

“But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged by no one. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:14-16 MKJV).

Amber, we understand where you're coming from; we really do. The problem is you don't understand where WE are coming from.

You're right - Clayton has never said, “Follow me,” but don't you know he should, but can't, at least not in Christ? What did the apostle Paul say?

“Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me” (1 Corinthians 4:16 KJV).

“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:1 KJV).

“Brothers, take me as your example, and take note of those who are walking after the example we have given” (Philippians 3:17 BBE).

Clayton doesn't think anyone can follow him in Christ because he really doesn't think anyone is capable of imitating Christ as well as he can. He would expect them to follow him in a worldly spirit and ways, but not according to his overvalued righteousness, which is abomination with God.

We have no problem whatsoever with young preachers and young generations. Remember, we were once there ourselves. Were you ever of the older generation? If not, consider that we've been on both sides while you've only been on one, so who would you then be to fault or judge us on that basis? You would be disqualified from that perspective.

But is the age gap the issue? Not to us and not to God. Nor is the problem a culture issue, though today's culture is far more lawless in America than it was a half century ago.

Nor is the issue one of preaching style. We don't expect others to be as we are in personality, dress or religious conduct. Let people reach out in Christ as they are to whom they're given to reach out to; no problem.

The issue is that along with Clayton's preaching truths, falsehood is included. You should know that if someone were to put just a tablet of poison in your beverage, though your beverage is 99.9% harmless, and you drink it, you're dead. Do you understand?

Nor are we a part of the church systems, those Jennings criticizes with some accuracy, so no sour grapes here.

Don't we know Jennings? God knows him and by His Spirit, we know him - the Bible says so, and that's why we can say what we do about him, while you, Amber, don't know him and so you find it strange for us to speak the way we do. You judge after the appearance, the very thing the Lord Jesus commanded us to not do.

But aren't you the judgmental one? Aren't you telling us you believe Jennings is genuine and of God? Aren't you telling us we're so wrong? Isn't that judgment? And according to what? Your notions? Your belief system? Your church? Your understanding? How well DO you understand? Think about it, Amber.

And since when did false teachers NOT preach from the Bible? Of course they will. How else will they deceive, if it were possible, even the elect of God? Will they do it with a porn magazine or a sorcerer's bible or witch's manual? So who's judgmental?

Clayton Jennings is a fraud, an exhibitionist, one who believes and preaches the most heinous lies about God one can preach. Talk about character assassination! Clayton essentially teaches that God can save us if we are righteous and smart enough to “get it.”

According to Clayton and his mentors, the vast majority won't get it, and if we don't, God will relegate us to a fiery eternity of horrendous torment every second. Even the most evil of parents on earth, if they're sane, wouldn't do that to their own children if they have any regard whatsoever for them:

“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him” (Matthew 7:11 MKJV).

You see, in all that preaching, posturing and pretence, he makes God out to be a liar and monster far worse than any person you've ever met. And Clayton does it while modeling t-shirts, selling merchandise, pretending to be Jesus Christ and he does it all in the Name of the Lord. It is abomination to God.

Amber, you are deluded. God has sent you strong delusion because you don't love the truth:

2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 MKJV
(8) And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming,
(9) whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
(10) and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, so that they might be saved.
(11) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie,
(12) so that all those who do not believe the truth, but delight in unrighteousness, might be condemned.

You need to get down on your knees and get serious, Amber. Try fasting for at least 3 days and ask God to open your eyes. Get honest and earnest with Him because He doesn't countenance triflers or those, like Jennings, who have their own agendas.

You'll find in time that the converts produced by Jennings are proselytes, not truly repentant and born again people. Begin to read and read at our site; search the Scriptures and see that we speak what is true from God, without fanfare and sensationalism or merchandising ploys.

Search all these things out for yourself, asking God for mercy and wisdom to direct you, and if you believe, He'll do it for you.

James 1:5-8 MKJV
(5) But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, Who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.
(6) But let him ask in faith, doubting nothing. For he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.
(7) For do not let that man think that he shall receive anything from the Lord;
(8) he is a double-minded man, not dependable in all his ways.

The only foolish thing is you trying to hurt a godly man when his sins are uncovered your actions in the email is ungodly....remember god says his greatest commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself...and pray for those who in ministry.... what you are doing is a hate call. It's not okay and bet it breaks gods heart when you send this email out to over millions of individuals. God is God let him do the work and you do the prayer!

That's what we're doing, Amber. The Lord Jesus Christ loved us by laying down His life, openly speaking the truth men hated so that we could be made free. So with the apostles, prophets and all believers after Him, up to this very day.

If "praying" alone is the answer, why did you respond here and speak up? Are you loving us? No, you aren't, even according to your own standard. You're a hypocrite.

Amber wrote:God is God let him do the work and you do the prayer!

But Jesus answered them, My Father works until now, and I work. (John 5:17 MKJV)

Your response is the worn out superficial "Christian" excuse for not speaking the truth so you can maintain your sense of righteousness and keep your own life. If a friend or family member of yours was manipulated into sexual encounters you'd just "pray" and say nothing? That's wicked.

Those who sin, rebuke before all, so that the rest also may fear. (1 Timothy 5:20 MKJV)

How about this?

"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them" (Ephesians 5:11 MKJV).

"And Enoch, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied to these, saying, Behold, the Lord came with myriads of His saints, to do judgment against all, and to rebuke all the ungodly of them concerning all their ungodly works which they ungodly did, and concerning all the hard things ungodly sinners spoke against Him" (Jude 1:14-15 MKJV).
