but YHWH or Jehovah is the almighty God. Omnipotent, all powerful God. The holy bible makes it crystal clear. No explanation is necessary. Gods word speaks the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Read John 1:1 John 20:17, Mark 13:31-33 and 1 Corinthians 15:24-28. The scripture in Mark plainly states Jehovah knows things that Christ Jesus does not. Big distinction.

When wickedness is done away with and the earth restored to paradise conditions as they were in the beginning, Christ Jesus hand it all back to his father Jehovah. Full circle

There are dozens of other scriptures to corroborate this. The bible also plainly states anti christ would increase. This appears to be a prime example.

The One True God isn’t our “thesis” or “interpretation, Gil. It’s God’s Word:

One of the biggest demonic doctrinal lies Satan has laced people to believe is The Trinity, and God being 3 separates beings but somehow being 1. I was on the other side before, where I could defend the argument of it being true, as it was straight from the devil himself in the form of an imitation Holy Spirit.

Simon’s motive, seeking to buy power from God, was plainly evil. It wasn’t a doctrinal matter with him or a lack of understanding, but one of a corrupt heart holding sway.

The person who doesn’t have the revelation of Jesus as God isn’t necessarily walking in the wickedness of a deviant heart as Simon was. It may be the person is a believer who simply isn’t at the point where the Lord has revealed these things to him. You can’t lay down a rule, as it appears you’re doing here, that the person who doesn’t immediately understand the Scripture in Isaiah (or any other) is under the influence of demons or is deceived. If something is clear to you, it’s only because the Lord has made it clear. And He doesn’t reveal everything to anyone at once.

A lack of revelation on any matter doesn’t automatically equate to being in a state of deception. Having the Scriptures opened to you is the Lord’s doing - in His timing and way.

“And what do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it” (1 Corinthians 4:7 MKJV).

Consider how these disciples didn’t understand the Scriptures until the Lord opened their understanding in the following sequence:

Luke 24:13-32 ESV
(13) That very day two of them were going to a village named Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem,
(14) and they were talking with each other about all these things that had happened.
(15) While they were talking and discussing together, Jesus himself drew near and went with them.
(16) But their eyes were kept from recognizing Him. [We don’t see because we have eyes – we see because the Lord opens our eyes, when and where He chooses.]

Yes, Isaiah, “the Trinity” is a great lie and false god to many, but it’s not an issue for those who believe and may be temporarily confused or unenlightened on the truth of the matter. And even if it is an issue, remember to be patient as God has been patient with you. We’ve all been opposed to the truth, turned from ourselves and our error only by His grace.

Those who have any difficulty with Jesus being God would be helped by considering these scriptures relating to his life on Earth for us:

Psa_8:5  For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
Heb_2:7  Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
Heb_2:9  But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

No need for forgiveness here, Isaiah. We were just giving you a heads up on what to look for and where not to go in judgment. We perceived no ill-intent or wrong motive in what you had written.

Lord willing, Tom, yes, those Scriptures could serve to provide understanding of God's work in Christ for those in faith. On the other hand, they could be used to argue that Jesus was a created being, separate and even inferior to God.

Men need revelation, as Jesus declared to Peter:

Can someone please enlighten me as to the following verses. I understand that Jesus Christ is the Mighty God and Everlasting Father as written in Isaiah. I also understand that He is One God. But does this mean He has a literal Father to talk to of is He indeed the Father Himself. Do I pray to the Father of do I pray to my Lord Jesus Christ or do I address them both?
