Something I've been thinking about since I last heard it (either at a Sabbath meeting or one of the correspondence we receive).

Victor said and has said numerous times, even in the papers at TPOT, "We preach Jesus."

Now, I've heard/red the statement before and it never really clicked, in fact, it actually confused me.

"Huh? You "preach Jesus"?... What does that statement MEAN exactly?.."

I was thinking carnally.

"You must mean you preach ABOUT Jesus. You preach His ways. And how to walk with Him. Because, how can words be Jesus?... That's what preaching is... words. Put a bunch of words together, and they may bring forth a particular influence in an individual. A spirit. An attitude. A way of thinking."

But the last time I heard it, I received an understanding. Plainly. Just as Victor has said it. THEY PREACH JESUS.

Want to know Jesus?

Listen to the essence, the meaning, the substance given at TPOT. Let it enter your mind, change your heart and be manifest in your ways. It's the Lord you are learning and hearing and reading and KNOWING.

WHO (not what) is being preached?

Its Jesus.

Amen William! Bless the Lord; He gave you this understanding. And how? By faith. And how does faith come?

"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God" (Romans 10:17 EMTV).

And Who is the Word of God?

"And He is clothed in a robe having been dipped in blood, and His Name is called The Word of God" (Revelation 19:13 EMTV).

Yes, this is the Jesus we preach.

1 Corinthians 1:22-24 MKJV
(22) For the Jews ask for a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom;
(23) but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness.
(24) But to them, the called-out ones, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.

Amen! If you think about it, if we are to worship Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, how shall we preach anything but Jesus Christ? By Him all things consist. Everything was made by Him and for Him. By Him we live. He is our Lifeblood, and the Air we breathe; He is everybody's Lifeblood and Air. We're the branches, and He's not only the Trunk of the Tree, but the Root and yes, the Ground the Tree is Rooted in and the Water, Air and Sun, none of us which any of us can live without.

Our entire existence, everything we think, feel, say and do are bound in Him. We are His Purpose and He is ours. We're made in His image, His likeness, of His Essence. Sons of God grow up to be not only One with Him but Him. Something to meditate on? Selah.
