Another Wannabe from Africa

Victor received a Facebook friend request from a Fred Murphy (E.M. Omoruyi) of Benin-City in Nigeria, September 5, 2017.

Take a look for yourself to see what Fred is all about on his Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/fred.murphy.169" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), which Victor viewed before responding to him:

Victor:
You ask me to be FB friends with you. Why?

Fred Murphy:
have i committed crime

Victor:
Absolutely, and you, claiming to be a man of God, don't know it? That's why I ask. I see your FB page. You, Fred, are a self-aggrandizing phony, anti-Christ. Is that not a crime worthy of death?

You have nothing whatsoever to do with the Lord Jesus Christ. If you want to be my friend, put away all evil, and you have a huge job ahead of you.

A big showoff, a bullshitter is what you are.

Fred Murphy:
what did u mean, do i look like a sinner to u

Victor:
Worse. A giant hypocrite.

Victor:
This Scripture among many like passages speaks of you:

2 Timothy 3:1-5 MSG
(1) Don't be naive. There are difficult times ahead.
(2) As the end approaches, people are going to be self-absorbed, money-hungry, self-promoting, stuck-up, profane, contemptuous of parents, crude, coarse,
(3) dog-eat-dog, unbending, slanderers, impulsively wild, savage, cynical,
(4) treacherous, ruthless, bloated windbags, addicted to lust, and allergic to God.
(5) They'll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they're animals. Stay clear of these people.

Fred blocked Victor at this point and hasn’t been in touch since. Why did he run away?

If Fred wasn’t a fraud choosing to maintain his delusion, he would have stayed around to find out what Victor was saying. If Fred was the true minister of God he presumes to be, he would have in turn provided Victor with life-giving truth and counsel, just as he was being given.

Doesn’t Fred know that his self-centered and idolatrous “Christianity” destroys him and those who follow his evil example? No, he hasn’t known, but now he has heard and is held accountable. This is how God judges (corrects) evil.

In a world full of false teachers, Fred is far from prominent. But his kind of counterfeit Christianity is prevalent everywhere, especially in Africa. The Africans love to dress up in ostentatious clothing, playing the part of pastors and apostles of Christ. They glory in appearances, seeking to be great ones in the flesh and loving “the chief seats in the synagogues and greetings in the markets” (Luke 11:43 MKJV). That’s what you’re seeing on Fred’s Facebook page.

“How can you believe, you who receive honor from one another and do not seek the honor that comes from God only” (John 5:44 MKJV).

Fine for the world to be friendly and superficial, but that’s not the way of Christ among those who believe, who must deal in life and death matters. Fred’s followers are perishing in darkness, just as he is, and they’re all making a mockery of the One they claim to follow by loving to have it so.

“And He spoke a parable to them: Can the blind lead the blind? Shall they not both fall into the ditch?” (Luke 6:39 MKJV)

Is Victor prejudiced or against Africans? On the contrary, he’s telling Africans the truth that they might repent of their sins, walk in the light on The Path of Truth, and live. Instead of being wise as to good and simple towards evil (Romans 6:19), these people have been simple towards good and wise in evil.

Lord Jesus, You have come to break the enchantment of their corrupt and arrogant hearts – thank You!
