Desirée Mondesir: A Jezebel Calls Others “Jezebel”
“Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eats, and wipes her mouth, and says, I have done no wickedness.” (Proverbs 30:20)
I initially contacted Desiree via Facebook after releasing the “Religion Meets Reality” video on YouTube. The correspondence that followed was posted on the Religion Meets Reality Forum thread. Desiree wasn’t happy about that and cut off communication.
Victor Hafichuk concluded: “The irony I find here is that she ‘works in the spirit of Jezebel’ as she preaches to allegedly denounce it.”
What is working in the “spirit of Jezebel”? Per the scriptures, Jezebel was the queen of Israel who seduced people into perversion and idolatry, and persecuted the prophets. (Another Jezebel in Revelation was a false prophetess who seduced the Lord’s people into committing fornication.) Let’s see how Desiree works in Jezebel’s spirit.
Desiree M. Mondesir is an “Author, Blogger, Spiritual Consultant” who claims to “undoubtedly, unequivocally, and passionately love God.” But her website, Facebook, blogs, business, and ministry endorse her name, not the Lord’s. She sells herself as a hero with special insight into “the spirit of Jezebel.” Desiree is using the Lord to sell her “name-brand.”
True servants of God don’t use the Lord’s Name to promote themselves or use their own name to attract customers. Also, you won’t find women preaching as authorities in the Scriptures. (Read: Women Are Ministers of God in Spiritual Authority over Men.) The Lord uses only men as spiritual authorities. Desiree isn’t a true servant of the Lord as she claims to be.
Mondesir’s website www.desireemmondesir.com is dedicated to Jezebel and her mythology, described in this ridiculous family tree: “Parental, Baal and the Queen of Heaven. Jezzy’s personalities: Delilah, Herod, and Absalom. Her siblings, twin brothers, Perversion and AntiChrist, as well as their sister, Religion. Jezebel’s children, Witchcraft…etc…” (Exploring Jezebel's Family Tree).
Almost every post on Desiree’s Facebook is about Jezebel and her “family tree.” Every other post is about witchcraft, spiritual warfare, or ministers speaking about Jezebel. Her Facebook and website are focused on evil. Though she claims to denounce evil, all her teachings revolve around knowing and teaching “the depths of Satan” (Revelation 2:4). Is this not ironic?
“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.”
(Romans 8:5)
Desiree is focused on darkness, evil, witchcraft, and Jezebel. As Victor Hafichuk once said, “We become what we focus on.” In other words, she has become evil because she is focused on evil, using it to satisfy her selfish ambitions. She isn’t focused on Christ as she claims.
Desiree’s website is full of seductive imagery. What need is there to show a woman’s face posing as Jezebel? If Desiree was focused on Christ she wouldn’t use creepy imagery to market her blogs.
Speaking of marketing, Desiree sells her “spiritual” books on Amazon and charges people to join her E-Club to get exclusive “spiritual” material. She even had an “Understanding Jezebel” workshop where she charges $127 to register. And in her “about me” page, she offers spiritual consultation for those in ministry and other business pursuits, supporting works like her own.
Servants of God don’t charge for spiritual counsel. Is it wrong for Desiree to sell short stories or to be paid for editing? Not necessarily, however making a profit in the Name of the Lord is wrong.
Here’s an excerpt from a correspondence on Facebook about Desiree’s E-Club.

Henry E Smith: I never have joined someone group and pay for it, thanks but no thanks -December 1, 2015 at 4:33pm
Desirée M. Mondesir: Henry E Smith Okay, just remember, it's an investment in yourself to invest in wisdom and knowledge. especially of a godly nature. We can't expect others to invest in us when we don't invest in others. That's why I pay good money for resources and training from others and give to other ministries whenever I can. God Bless!
Henry E Smith: I have my Fath, ers word, so I am good, I live by it so if you need something from it, if I can help I will be glad to do as this verse said for you and anyone else.
Mat_10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
But I will never do this
2Pe_2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.- December 1, 2015 at 4:40pm
Desirée M. Mondesir: Henry E Smith You're, of course, welcome to make your own decisions, yet I would point out that you asked me for a copy eBook which says to me there is something you believe I know or have learned from the Spirit of God that expounds upon what Scripture has already said. The Word of God is absolutely our foundation, yet we cannot shun the teachings and wisdom of others that God has given them because they are not God or the Bible themselves. And please understand, I'm not trying to get you to buy something from me, but rather expand your perspective. And since you quote Scripture, I would also point out that the Bible says more than once, the worker is worthy of their wages. And another passage speaks of those being sent to preach the Gospel. "How can they preach unless they be sent?" I like to ask, "How can they be sent, if there's no money to send them?" People often don't realise the money it costs to function in ministry or godly business. God is not against people earning for their livelihood and in fact, the people who were dedicated to dispensing the Word of God were the most provided for. It costs money to share the Gospel of the Kingdom, that's why Jesus had a treasurer. It costs money to produce resources to share with the masses. And there is also a blessing, we know Scripture says, that comes upon the cheerful giver and I would add, the cheerful investor. We in the Church all too often have a poverty mindset that makes us tightfisted which greatly staunches ministry efforts around the (Western) world.
December 1, 2015, at 4:53 pm [End]
Did Jesus or the apostles ever charge for their preaching and bringing the Word of God to people? Henry’s Scriptures prove that true teachers don’t charge for God’s Word. He also points out how Desiree is seducing people to buy her merchandise.
What does Desiree say about this? In a few words, “I can’t preach unless I get paid,” or “God can’t reach mankind by me unless those I’m to reach pay me to do it.” Isn’t it clear she depends on mammon? She says: “How can they be sent, if there's no money to send them?”
Desiree depends on men and mammon, not the Lord.
Desiree preaches that one must invest money to receive wisdom and knowledge from the Lord. The scriptures say otherwise: “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraids not; and it shall be given him.” (James 1:5)
“Ho, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat. Yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price” (Isaiah 55:1 MKJV).
True servants of the Lord don’t have to worry about or beg for money.
The Lord provides all things for those who are His:
Matthew 6:31-34 (NKJV)
(31) “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
(32) For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
(33) But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
(34) Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
The contradictions don't end here. Here’s another correspondence about pagan holidays.
Full correspondence: Jason Byre- October 16, 2015
Jason Brye: I agree 100% but it's the same for Christmas, Easter,st patricks day all those other holidays as well so it's a great point to make just make sure it's consistent on ALL PEGAN, idol worshiping holidays!!!!
Desirée M. Mondesir: I think you meant to say "pagan." As for Christmas, I and most Christians celebrate Jesus Christ and the greatest gift to humanity. And as for Easter, I stick with Passover or "Resurrection Day." Those two have redeeming qualities that cannot be found in Halloween. But I wouldn't argue with a Christian who's personal conviction was to not celebrate Christmas or Easter, so long as they don't try to turn it into a doctrine.... October 16, 2015 at 7:03pm
Jason Brye: But u are doing exactly what u said not to do in your post...u can't be partly part of something that is not of God and say your Christian, Christmas originated from the same place Halloween it's the same concept you can't have one foot in and the other out I know you know that the same way you educate others on Halloween educate them on Christmas and Easter (which is not bad just how we celebrate it is) and the resurrection that is not Sunday but in deed Monday... I know you may feel it's doctrine but the truth is the truth. October 17, 2015, at 7:21 am
Desirée M. Mondesir: That's your interpretation, not mine. [End]
Jason points out how Christmas and Easter are just as pagan as Halloween. How does Desiree react to this? She blows it off. She spends a great deal of time denouncing Halloween, but not That Devilish Spirit of Christmas. As what Jason Byrd said: “But u are doing exactly what u said not to do in your post...u can't be partly part of something that is not of God and say your Christian” Rightly so, Jason; Desiree is full of hypocrisy.
One can see hypocrisy everywhere in her blog posts.
“Jezebel Was My BFF” tells a story about Desiree’s best friend (who she refuses to name) whom she believes betrayed her by marrying her ex-boyfriend. She writes about her relationship failure as if it’s a teaching from the Lord. It’s just a rant about not getting what she wanted and having her feelings hurt. It’s pure witchcraft to pass off one’s personal vendetta as if it’s something from God.
Desiree teaches in “Watch the Words You Release”: “The intent of Jezebel (one of them anyway) is to discredit the prophets of God. She herself is the symbol of false religion that employs false prophets, but she discredits you when you say what she doesn't want you to.”
Isn’t Desiree guilty of what she condemns? In the Religion Meets Reality Forum thread, she does this very thing:
“You are mixing the wheat with the tares and in doing so, you become guilty of grave sin yourself in being a voice of the Accuser of the Brethren. Based on your website content, you appear to have a ‘ministry of exposés.’ The problem with that is you can't find that ministry anywhere in Scripture. Yes, apostles and prophets expose false teachers, but they do it in balance, maturity, and understanding; it's not all they do. Jesus didn't *just* call out the Pharisees; He did other works too. Elijah and Elisha didn't *just* confront Jezebel; they did other works too. And the danger with doing nothing but calling out "false teachers" is that more than likely, you begin to operate in the very spirit you accuse them of: the false prophetic; accusing the brethren. This is very dangerous because, like with the Salem Witch Trials, those who go a' hunting witches very often begin to operate in witchcraft through their false accusations.”
Yet Desiree hypocritically declares her calling is to “confront” false teachers (though she hasn’t named any):
“I know my calling. I know my gifting. I know that a huge force in my mission is to ‘challenge the toxic mindsets of men, women, and children.’ I HATE deception. I HATE sugar-coating, seeker-friendly, ‘nice Gospel’ lies that permeate the pulpits of America and the (Western) world as a whole. From cover to cover, the Bible warns of false teachers, false prophets, and doctrines of devils. I know that my calling is to confront those, toe to toe, and as my mentor (an apostle) prophesied to me, ‘you have to give it to them at the level you received it’…” (We Need to Have a Serious Talk about Death, Part I)
Desiree does the very thing she accuses The Path of Truth website of doing. It’s false accusation on her part, however, because The Path of Truth gives substance and she gives none. She condemns herself with her own judgment: “You become guilty of grave sin yourself in being a voice of the Accuser of the Brethren.”
The Path of Truth warns people about John Ramirez, Juanita Bynum, Perry Stone, Apostle G Maldonado, John Paul Jackson, and Myles Monroe – all false teachers Desiree follows. Whereas she condemns people she doesn’t name or prove her charges against them. She behaves just like the Jezebel she labels others as, perverting the Gospel and maligning those who speak the truth.
The irony…
“Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her eyes, and adorned her head…”
(2 Kings 9:30 WEB).
