Is “Pastor” Smith teaching “Gospel-centered,” as he claims on his website (<http://www.unlockingthebible.org/>), Ronel? Here's the short answer:

Do men of God sell the Gospel?

“Or did I commit sin in humbling myself that you might be exalted, because I preached the Gospel of God to you without charge” (2 Corinthians 11:7 MKJV).

Also compare Smith's article, unlockingthebible.org/possible-christians-idolize-bible/, with our section on the Bible - How We View and Use the Scriptures. Smith totally misses the point that without faith and obedience, the Bible is a dead book. But the Lord Jesus Christ is never dead, except to those who don't believe, who walk in their own righteousness, like Colin Smith.

Still, though Christ is dead to Smith, He is alive and reigns over all, unlike the Bible Smith interprets carnally.

“And I heard as the sound of a great multitude, and as the sound of many waters, and as the sound of strong thunders, saying, Hallelujah! For the Lord God omnipotent reigns” (Revelation 19:6 MKJV).
