Dearly beloved,

I have read your writeup about diabolical doctrines and all the relevant quotes concrning the issue raised by Apostle Paul on women being silent in church. I agree with some of the issues raised intoto. However, as a wife of the pastor, I help in futhering the work of God by moderating the service. I lead the prayer and worship and my husband brings the message. When my husband is not around I gather the children of God together and I share the word with them.

Now, my question is; If a brother happens to be in our midst that is spiritually immature I'm I usurping authority over him? Can you explain to me the what Apostle Paul meant in 1 Timothy 2 :15 KJV. If Paul said Notwithstanding she shall be saved and he enumerated those things, is he talking of being saved from sin which was paid on the cross by the Lord Jesus or she shall be saved from those rules he had given above?

I totally agree to the fact that women ordained as pastors because they enrolled in the seminary and ordained has caused a lot of problems for the worldliness we find today in the churches. Women are susceptible to fall prey to satan as eve did. Bishoprick are for men because they are disciplined and vigilant in unmasking the devices of satan while most women an easily fall prey to the devil.

Now my worry is this can a woman due to the verse 15 of 1 Timothy due to child bearing; being grounded in the faith and practices charity and follows holiness and sobriety not be exempted from that rule as that verse is indicating? Why is the word Notwithstanding used?

I am not a pastor but I heard that even as a pastor's wife I am supposed to stay silent in the church when men are present. Can you throw more light on this issue? What about the Lord's promise on the last days to pour His spirit unto all flesh? Are women also restricted from witnessing to a man? Please I need some answers to be sure that I am not contradicting the bible stand point. God bless you

Your letter is dated March 2nd, but we didn't receive it until the 16th. Can you explain? Perhaps internet glitches?

By the first paragraph of your letter, it seems you participate in formal religious church services. This is not of God. Nowhere in Scripture will you find such conduct among saints walking in faith, although you find this conduct in formal Christendom, orthodox or otherwise. The formal atmosphere and programmed conduct is Satan's way to keep people in the dark and stifle their spirits, or excite them in ways not suitably edifying; whether your husband rules or you rule, it won't matter. You're off on the wrong foot already (read Counterfeit Christianity). It's not about religion, but reality in the Living Risen Lord.

Jesus Christ didn't come to give us worship; He came to be worshipped in spirit and in truth. He didn't come to give us religion; He came to give us life.

If you are off on the wrong foot, no doubt the wife will be ruling (read The Vashti-Esther Transmutation).

To Timothy, Paul was essentially speaking of women working out their salvation through faith and obedience (Philippians 2:12) - “Do right and it will go well for you.”

There's nothing wrong with a woman bearing testimony of the Lord to a man, even as did the Samaritan woman, depending on the attitude and circumstances. It truly is God's work through a person, and not the work of the person, whether man or woman.

The Lord has poured His Spirit upon men and women, Jews and Gentiles, slave and free, yet they all have their callings, places, and duties. All football players have the same uniform on a team, but each must play their appointed positions.

The silence required of women is in the context of preaching and having leadership authority with men. It is not in being silent all together; otherwise, how would they pray, speak in tongues, or prophesy?

I didn't understand your questions very well. You may have to clarify.

There is no “exemption” by the woman living a faithful life and the “notwithstanding” only means “but,” “and,” or “moreover.” See G1161 of Strong's Concordance.

Your main concern should not be the letter of the Scriptures, but your relationship to the Lord, Mrs. Ojong. It's not about works or services. Are you in faith and obedience to Him? That's what you need to know.
