Re: What To Do In The Matter Of Job Searching
I think Thierry is right. What I hear from JLP is essentially banter about the things of God, to borrow Martin's words. It's like it says in the description of one of his videos: "Rather, take up your cross daily, relax in suffering and temptation rather than going with them and giving into them."

Re: What To Do In The Matter Of Job Searching
Nicholas, I hadn't noted your latest post when I submitted mine. I'm thankful that all turned out well. I've always been analyzing myself and therefore I know, or I believe, that it's something that can cause unnecessary trouble within and without, but how I was speaking to you, Nicholas, was simply...

Re: What To Do In The Matter Of Job Searching
Hi Nicholas! I keep having to learn the hard way that if I don't believe the Lord when he speaks to me; or follow wisdom when it's given; I am in unbelief and there will only be more problems in the future. I would see it the other way around. You’re going on feelings and presumptions and making sna...

Re: A CALL TO GODLY ACTIVE DUTY
I’d have a suggestion, by the way. If you go to the sitemap on the website, you can hold your mouse over a link to see the paper’s summary, which I think is veeery handy. There’s an enormous amount of papers, for which reason there obviously aren’t summaries to all of them. Would it be a good idea t...

Re: The rich man and Lazarus
There really is way too many deficiencies in Huie’s explanation as it stands. And as Brandon asked, what’s the lesson in faith? It doesn't make sense.
I would be interested to hear others’ thoughts on what Lauren had to say.

Re: The rich man and Lazarus
Hi, I was thinking on this and I would say Huie's interpretation is the most cogent one I've read, something I could even agree with, yet some if not many questions arise. Let’s say that the rich man represents a Jew, a Pharisee, and Lazarus a Gentile, as Huie suggests, and that wealth means their s...

Re: New Podcast - An Unexpected Visit with Mormons
Hi everyone, I need to say out loud something I was thinking on... This might be nitpicking and at least a matter of interpretation, so I don’t wish to cause any misunderstandings; I know I tend to write a little unthinkingly. I hope I can make some sense. Brandon writes: "David does not recognize, ...

Re: Eggshell Toothpaste and Dental Health
Inspired by the recent posts, I thought I could also share a few organic and cheap tips that I have found to be great. For shampoo, I make a fairly runny paste from warm water and 3 or more tbsp of rye flour (this depends on the length of the hair) and then add one egg yolk (not necessary). I distri...

Yes, thank you for your words, Victor.

Re: Some thoughts
Hello, I appreciate your answer, I’ve been thinking about it. I come up with numerous questions everyday but it’s true that I analyze everything, too much perhaps, and trust myself. As for repentance from sin, I considered I’ve been walking in it, for all of this can’t have been of me - but was it t...

Re: Some thoughts
Just wanted to add to that.. how can I not be one of those who are ever learning and never coming to the knowledge of truth? The flesh really is hopeless; although I'm happy that I don't take offense but gladly receive your words, I see myself taking pride in that, applauding myself for recognizing ...

Some thoughts
Hi there, I'm Jenni & 18 years old --- reading this site has been very freeing indeed. I came to the conclusion that I know nothing, I am blind and foolish, with a lot of useless and imagined head knowledge. I've been devouring these posts for the last few days and I saw the "Eternal Torment" and wa...
