Re: Ron Cantor, Messianic Jew

Yes, Larry, Paul could relate a lot of very interesting things were he to write his story.

And I hear you - some Scripture study and exposition would be good, Lord willing. At times, we've done that and it was appreciated by several. I trust the Lord will give us what He determines is best.

Re: Ron Cantor, Messianic Jew

Rachel, you got it: "For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that outwardly in flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart; in spirit and not in letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God" (Romans 2:28-29 MKJV). Romans 4:7-13 MKJV (7) sa...

Re: Ron Cantor, Messianic Jew

Good points, Paul, and as you said, much more could be said and I think it would be good if more were said. We need to let people know the subtle, yet significant differences there are in messages coming from the various voices speaking in the Name of Yeshua/Jesus Christ. Matthew 7:21-23 MKJV (21) N...

Re: I do not want to go back to my sin

Hi Johnathon, Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior of all men. He is our One and Only Great and Perfect Hope. He is the Answer to all things, all problems. By Him were all things created, both good and evil. All things were made for Him and for His glory. He is All in all. I was raised Catholic; I recall...

Acts 9:13-18 MKJV (13) And Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard from many of this man, how many evil things he has done to Your saints at Jerusalem. (14) And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your Name. (15) But the Lord said to him, Go! For this one is a chosen ve...

I thank you, Henk, and all translators for getting the Truth of God out to your ethnic peoples. Imagine what this can mean for one soul who comes to believe because you've cared.

And quite caught up with what you consider to be seductiveness, Nerri and Jhing. Yes, now that's “love,” huh?

Thanks, Edwin! “Certainly, we are not called to change our circumstances, but does that mean we can no longer have dreams, aspirations, and a vision for our future? What about goals?” Depending on motives, it may not be a problem to have plans, dreams, aspirations, vision, goals, all Lord willing. T...

Re: Ron Cantor, Messianic Jew

Amen, Paul! I'm realizing the great significance of the time when the Lord took us to the Messianic synagogue in Philadelphia in 1980... Beit Yeshua was it? There we witnessed firsthand how the Jews were "reclaiming their Messiah from the Gentiles," as they put it, worshiping Him not in spirit and t...

Ron Cantor, Messianic Jew

Hi everyone! This is an audio speech/sermon by Ron Cantor. He gives us some interesting insights on Jews and Jewish faith in New Testament times. Well worth the listen, I think. Re: It's hard to reject much of your abnormal teachings

Ethan, I once had respect for some of the men we list, whom I believed were of God until the Lord gave me His Holy Spirit, removed me from their midst, and began to instruct me solitarily in the following several years. For example, I was in awe of Billy Graham and aspired to be as great an evangeli...

Re: How can I ever be joyful?

I've mentioned this incident before, though I don't recall to whom or when. In 1983, as my father, mother, aunt and uncle were visiting us, I heard the words, " Those four will be destroyed in their sins. Be thankful. " I'm just told my parents will be destroyed and I'm supposed to be thankful? How ...

Understood, Rachel. "Why me?" There's much to be said on this matter and I realize I'm not touching on all aspects of your question or that I understand exactly where you're coming from, so we dialogue and get to the issue. All good; we learn of each other and of the Truth. The Scriptures declare th...

Hi Kate, In the fulness of the ages, God will save all men, even as He has purposed to create man in His image. His image will not fall short; it will not be marred; it will be perfect, with every component present and functioning perfectly. Does that make sense to you? We reap what we sow, always. ...

Re: Not Quite Understanding the Sin unto Death

Hi Del, Those who speak against the Holy Spirit aren't forgiven, as they speak thus. All true. Two points to be made here: Note that people will be able to sin in the world to come. That's a given, seeing there are, for example, evil spirits, yet some people have the impression that when they leave ...

How’s this, everyone? I say, “Wow! How amazing the power of darkness over the children of darkness!” Walking in the light, these things are obvious, but to those in darkness is nothing obvious. Surely, we can’t take for granted the light we’ve been mercifully granted. “But for the grace of God, ther...

Re: How can I ever be joyful?

Of course, Rachel, you know the answers to those questions are all in the Scriptures, as for example, sin causes these problems and consequences (Romans 3:23), and the iniquity of the fathers is visited to the third and fourth generations of those who hate God - Exodus 20. Read The Purpose of Evil u...

You'd do well to consider these things. Ask the God of Heaven and earth, the Lord Jesus Christ, for ...

Steel, I'm thankful you came to the meeting. I feel badly when I read of your crying out, “ Dad, Dad! ” as he abuses you. That really hurts. I'm not condemning your dad; I'm just saying how I feel for you and perhaps both of you. Through faith, we can defeat the enemy, send him packing and establish...
