Re: The rich man and Lazarus
Hi, I am not convinced by what Bryan Huie have presented. To echo what Jenni have said: If the rich man has been shut out in unbelief, how does he then recognize His Life? Or too little too late for him? And since there is a gulf in-between where Lazarus and the rich man were, how and why all of a s...

Re: A CALL TO GODLY ACTIVE DUTY
By God's grace and His and His alone, I will translate the Teachings in TPOT website in Traditional Chinese version and if God is willing, even the Simplified Chinese version. I am not proficient in Chinese but I believe as long as this is God's will, then He will put His words in my heart for the t...

Re: Gods will
Hi Michael, I suggest you read again the Teachings about Obedience. If you have red it, read again. Appended below is extracted from that Teaching. {Start} There are three areas of obedience: 1) Common sense matters. Do the right, refrain from the wrong. 2) Keep the Law. The Law was never done away....

Re: New Teaching - House Pets
I never really understood why people live with their pets especially in HK where space is very limited. I believe it's more about social status in HK. The more expensive and rarer the breed, the better. People like the attention they get from other people who appreciate their pets. I am reminded of ...

Re: Brief Introduction
Thank you Stephen (Apologies for calling you Steve in my previous email as I assumed this was your nickname). I have indeed asked the wrong question. It is not a matter of “where” but a matter of the heart, that is, our faithfulness in everything we do: our daily walk with God. By God’s grace I am l...

Re: Brief Introduction
Thanks Steve. I am basically not good in expressing myself/thoughts and is more of an introverted person. If God is willing, i will share more about my trials and triumphs and what the Lord has done for me as time goes by. As a matter of fact to write this post is already a "bold" step for me. I liv...

Re: "When you obey, you will have nothing to fear."
Hi Bart, I do not professed to know anything. But whenever I face similar situation, the Lord will remind me of the following verses: Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excel...

Re: AW Tozer - False Teacher?
Thank you Ronnie. I will throw away all the books except the bibles and concordance. I have read few of Arnold Fruchtenbaum's books and believe that he is another false teacher. I have been reading some of the articles posted in your website and will continue to do so as there are so many that I nee...

Re: AW Tozer - False Teacher?
Thanks Ronnie for your reply. I am currently residing in Hong Kong. Therefore, there is a time difference. I believe Tozer is a false teacher as he taught the "broad way to salvation." My follow up question may seem silly. I realise i have been reading books written by false teachers: Andrew Murray,...

AW Tozer - False Teacher?
Hello,
I am new in this forum. May I ask what is your views about Tozer? He was one of my favourite writers. However, he quoted many Catholic mystics in his books like his book, "The Knowledge of the Holy."
Thanks for this space.
Tony
