THE SILENT REVOLUTION
On the surface of the world right now there is
war and violence and things seem dark.
But calmly and quietly, at the same time,
something else is happening underground
An inner revolution is taking place
and certain individuals are being called to a higher light.
It is a silent revolution.
From the inside out. From the ground up.
This is a Global operation.
A Spiritual Conspiracy.
There are sleeper cells in every nation on the planet.
You won’t see us on the T.V.
You won’t read about us in the newspaper
You won’t hear about us on the radio
We don’t seek any glory
We don’t wear any uniform
We come in all shapes and sizes, colors and styles.
Most of us work anonymously
We are quietly working behind the scenes
in every country and culture of the world
Cities big and small, mountains and valleys,
in farms and villages, tribes and remote islands.
You could pass by one of us on the street
and not even notice
We go undercover
We remain behind the scenes.
It is of no concern to us who takes the final credit
But simply that the work gets done.
Occasionally we spot each other in the street
We give a quiet nod and continue on our way
During the day many of us pretend we have "normal jobs"
But behind the false storefront at night
is where the real work takes a place.
Some call us the Conscious Army
We are slowly creating a new world
with the power of our minds and hearts
We follow, with passion and joy.
Our orders come from the Central Spiritual Intelligence
We are dropping soft, secret love bombs when no one is looking
Poems ~ Hugs ~ Music ~ Photography ~ Movies ~ Kind words ~
Smiles ~ Meditation and prayer ~ Dance – Art ~ Social activism ~
Websites – Blogs ~ Random acts of kindness…
We each express ourselves in our own unique ways
with our own unique gifts and talents,
Be the change you want to see in the world
That is the motto that fills our hearts
We know it is the only way real transformation takes place.
We know that quietly and humbly we have the
power of all the oceans combined
Our work is slow and meticulous
Like the formation of mountains
It is not even visible at first glance
And yet with it entire tectonic plates
shall be moved in the centuries to come
Love is the new religion of the 21st century
You don’t have to be a highly educated person
Or have any exceptional knowledge to understand it
It comes from the intelligence of the heart
Embedded in the timeless evolutionary pulse of all
human beings.
Be the change you want to see in the world
Nobody else can do it for you.
We are now recruiting
Perhaps you will join us
Or already have.
All are welcome
The door is open

Since the beginning of time, men have found it of utmost importance to be somebody special, whether as an individual or in union with a select identifiable company. It is in man’s nature to desire to excel, within or without, and to be honored and esteemed, be it by fellow man or by his god.
To this end, men have dreamed and schemed, steamed and screamed, strived and connived. They have visualized, fantasized, romanticized, and materialized to accomplish their chosen goals. Most sadly of all, they have jeopardized not only themselves but also their fellow man, whose praise they seek.
The world seeks heroes. If one cannot be the hero, the next best thing is to be identified with one, to worship a hero if a suitable one can be found. But men will all seek to be heroes themselves and seek others to honor them as heroes.
Cain may well have been the first aspiring hero. The seeds of heroism were bearing fruit beginning at his sacrifice to God. His sacrifice being rejected, Cain killed his younger brother Abel in a jealous rage; he immediately left the presence of God and “built a city” (Genesis 4:17). He became a worker, philanthropist, provider, useful person, and public works activist, someone who would make up his inner shortfall by being important to his fellow man. He would be “somebody” to someone.
It would never be acceptable for Cain not to be somebody; after all, that is why he killed Abel. Abel was somebody to the Most Important Somebody of All, while Cain fell short of the mark. Abel trusted in God and served him, but Cain was out for what he could get from God, namely honor and acceptance. Abel made an offering to God to honor God, while Cain made an offering to God so that God might honor him. This is what “The Silent Revolution” is all about.
The Bible describes the sin nature as one of pride, of seeking the honor and praise of men, of placing value on that which is seen, more than on that which is not seen. It describes the nature of sin as containing the essence of self-importance, self-exaltation, self-preservation, self-promotion, and self-righteousness. It is about being a hero.
While men pursue accomplishment, fame, and fortune, and do great things for fellow man, they appear to be great and good persons. They appear to be sacrificial, beneficial, and inspirational, but their works and accomplishments are most often superficial and artificial – heroic, but very selfish.
Being a member of humanity, I have also desired to be somebody special (read or listen to It’s Great to Be Somebody), but by God’s grace, He brought me to that place where I realized that knowledge of, resignation to, and acceptance of, His will was the only justifiable reason for living. I learned this by revelation, by His Spirit, by the Scriptures, and by experience. All this came as a result of a new birth from above, which removes us from the destructive, albeit often attractive, path of fulfilling self and puts us on the new path in Christ of taking up the cross (dying to “the id”) and fulfilling the will of God.
By the miraculous work of the cross of Christ and consequent resurrection life, which I have entered by God’s grace and no accomplishment of my own, I discern “The Silent Revolution” to be vain imagination. I see it as delusion, somebody wishfully thinking to have importance and value.
Worse still, it is a misrepresentation of the true. While the author thinks to be in the company of important and genuine problem solvers of the world, ushering in a New Age, no less, he or she is part of the problem. The problem is one of pride and independence of God, which, according to God, is the very essence of sin, a state of antagonism toward Him.
The claims made are born of a proud and evil imagination. The Higher Light, indeed the Light of lights, is the Lord Jesus Christ, but no mention is made of Him by Name. The One Who gave His life, indeed, shed His very blood for us, so that we might have the peace and fulfillment the only way possible, is totally ignored in “The Silent Revolution.”
“A spiritual conspiracy”? God has no need to conspire. He will put down all conspiracies, including the nature and essence of this self-vaunting, philosophical piece of imagination. He does not need to work “underground” or operate behind “false storefronts.” He is above all, and those who serve Him and worship Him in spirit and in truth shout from the housetops that which He has spoken in the ears. They do so not out of an evolutionary intelligence, as the writer claims, but by inspiration of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
God does not have to sneak up on men or coddle them or woo them into righteousness and goodness. He and His servants will speak plainly and boldly, moved by God to do so.
No, as Jesus Christ stopped Saul of Tarsus on the road to Damascus, and turned him 180 degrees with a sudden shaft of Light, which Light He is, and the powerful Word, which Word He is, so will He turn all mankind (Acts 9). He needs no self-important persons to think they are silently accomplishing some “quiet revolution” by an imaginary, self-generated, evolutionary, spiritual power.
Indeed, Jesus comes to save these “undergrounders,” these legends in their own minds, these heroes, from themselves and from their vain imaginations.
They speak truly when they say, “It is of no concern to us who takes the final credit.” But to children of the Light, it is the deepest desire that their Lord and Savior, Who laid down His precious life for them, receive all the praise and glory. They love Him, and that with great cause!
In the heart and spirit of every godly creature is the zeal that God should get the glory. But children of darkness, who presume to be children of light and saviors in their own right, already take credit, even as “The Silent Revolution” reflects, though they, in all contradiction, deny they desire the credit.
I have learned by years of personal experience that I cannot trust man, and I have learned that I can trust the Bible. The Bible clearly teaches that every man, in his heart of hearts, wants the credit.
The writer says, “Be the change you want to see in the world. That is the motto that fills our hearts. We know it is the only way real transformation takes place.”
It is true that the responsibility and work begin with the individual. The problem, however, is that the individual, in his own will, strength, and virtue, is as able to transform himself and be the needed change in the world as he is able to resurrect himself from the dead. He can’t do it, no matter how much he wants to or tries.
That is precisely why we need the One and Only Savior of mankind, the Creator, of Whom there is no mention at all. The writer steals the glory due to Jesus Christ. He fails to inform fellow man of The Way to the desired goal.
Now the writer says, “Love is the new religion of the 21st century.” If he means that love has not been known or revealed in times past as the answer, he is quite mistaken. Nearly two thousand years ago, mankind was witness to the greatest demonstration of love ever, the laying down of the life, not only for one’s friends, but even for one’s enemies.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. As I have loved you, you should also love one another,” said Jesus to His disciples, just before He laid down His life for the world (John 13:34).
Fifty days after His crucifixion and resurrection from the dead, He returned on the day of the Jewish Feast of Pentecost and gave His Spirit to about 120 disciples, both men and women. Then and there began the new revolution, as the writer of “The Silent Revolution” likes to call something he or she has not experienced.
To this day, men and women have given their lives in love of the Lord, Whose purchased possession they were and are, that the Light and His love might spread to the rest of the earth. They have done so by shouting from the housetops that which He has spoken in their ears. They have done so by preaching Christ and Him crucified, no matter how foolish they may appear to be or how despised by the world.
Is it true that “Love is the new religion of the 21st century,” as the writer claims? Not many know that the Law of God introduced to the Hebrew nation as long as 3500 years ago by Moses was all about love – love of both God and neighbor. When asked which was the great commandment in the Law of Moses, Jesus said:
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets” (Matthew 22:37-40 MKJV).
So no, love is not the “new religion of the 21st Century” – far from it. If it is, then Jesus Christ did not live, give His life freely, raise Himself from the dead after three days, and give His Spirit to His disciples – who were given His Spirit and nature to love with the only love worth loving, His love.
The writer repeats, “Be the change you want to see in the world –
Nobody else can do it for you,” and the writer is so wrong. Jesus Christ can do it for you, and only He.
The writer misleads people. He deceives them into thinking they can really do something positive, great, and wonderful, something revolutionary and life-transforming in their own power. If that is true, we need no Savior. If it is false, then the writer, wittingly or otherwise, is antiChrist, denying that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life He claimed to be. He said, “No man can come to the Father but by Me” (John 14:6).
Why is the writer deceiving? Here is why – he says that love “comes from the intelligence of the heart – embedded in the timeless evolutionary pulse of all human beings.” Yet Jeremiah, the Hebrew prophet, speaking by the Spirit of God, declared two things:
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9 MKJV)
“LORD, I know that none of us are in charge of our own destiny; none of us have control over our own life” (Jeremiah 10:23 GNB).
Is God confused or deceptive or without knowledge? We know otherwise. Men deny His true Nature and Authority. Paul, a saint and apostle of God, wrote this:
“Let it not be! But let God be true, and every man a liar; as it is written, ‘That You might be justified in Your sayings, and will overcome when You are judged’” (Romans 3:4 MKJV).
There may be the will in man’s heart, and cunning and desire, but until the man is born again of the Spirit of God, he is a fallen creature with only the vestiges of what was once there undefiled. Whatever he does in that state is doomed to failure.
We go on public record, knowing the Truth, that this man’s dreams and aspirations will only come to naught, and many shall see them fall and perish, until the Redeemer of all mankind intervenes and makes all things right.
Jesus Christ sends us, His express and chosen servants, to speak the words of truth at every opportunity, to tell people what is needful for them to enter into life.
One last point: You might well ask, “If love came thousands of years ago, and a ‘revolution of love’ began then, where is it now? Where are the fruits? See the trouble in the world!” This is, of course, an understandable and plausible question. Here is the answer, believe it or not:
These past 2,000 years have been a time of preparation and trial for all mankind. God has taken out a sample of mankind during this time to bear witness against the world and to expose its darkness and presumption. Without the light, by His sons and daughters, exposure of the darkness could not happen. Without the darkness for contrast, the light would not be made manifest.
Now the time of demonstration of God’s righteousness versus man’s unrighteousness is finished. The time is here to close the books on the purposed manifestation of man’s lack, and of the demonstrated absolute necessity for God to make all things right. Now God has determined once and for all to conclude man’s opportunities and attempts to make things right, even as the writer of “The Silent Revolution” tries to make things right.
Thankfully (for those who know better), it is now God’s turn, and He will finally make it good, as only He can. All men’s devices have failed and will fail.
“The proof is in the pudding,” they say, and how true that is! We know that what we say herein will be fully vindicated, though men have not wanted to hear what we say about their alleged love, wisdom, and power.
Ours is that “revolution of love”; let all counterfeits be scattered,
