“Concerning the works of men, by the Words of Your lips, I am kept from the paths of the destroyer. My steps have been held in Your paths, so that my footsteps have not slipped” (Psalms 17:4-5 MKJV).
John Kaat of Michigan paid us a visit on the Sabbath, September 26/27, 2008. We talked the whole day, and there was one thing he told me that pulled at my heart and prompted this paper. He said, “Victor, there are many Dutch Reform people [or Calvinist people] who are very frustrated and angry with God. Many suffer depression; some have had nervous breakdowns and have even been driven to suicide. Because they don’t have the peace of salvation, they assume or suspect they are damned and ask why God would predetermine them to eternal damnation while predetermining others for Heaven. They wonder about the justice of it all. This is the torment in which they live, and they have no answer for it.”
All men are predestinated to salvation.
I felt badly for those people. I thought that the Catholic doctrine of never-ending torment in hell was bad enough, and it is, but this is worse. At least with the former, there is presumably hope of a change, but with Calvin’s doctrine of predestination to eternal damnation, there is absolutely no hope, ever. God has made up His mind and that’s it. He made many to burn, no matter what they do, and what’s more, He keeps them guessing much of their earthly lives. Talk about being damned to Hell!
But I have an answer for any that would hear the truth, which will deliver them of their torment. As Jesus said:
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32 MKJV).
And: “Therefore if the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed” (John 8:36 MKJV).
“Whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:15 MKJV).
The apostle Paul, sent by God to preach the gospel to the whole world, made this promise by the Spirit of Him Who does not lie: “For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13 KJV).
It is also written: “The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not purposing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9 MKJV).
That is God’s will. Do not allow any self-righteous and ignorant man, with however many credentials of men, to tell you that the words “all” and “whosoever” refer only to those predestined. Know this: All men are predestined to salvation.
Yes, it is true that God never intended to save all men in this period of history in this world. His purpose for now was to take out the firstfruits and only those:
“Of His own will He brought us forth with the Word of truth, for us to be a certain firstfruit of His creatures” (James 1:18 MKJV).
“These are those who were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, as a firstfruit to God and to the Lamb” (Revelation 14:4 MKJV).
Now not all can be the firstfruits, but don’t you suppose that if those saved are known as but the firstfruits only, there is the suggestion, indeed the promise, that the remainder of the harvest will be brought in at the appointed time?
I agree with the interpretation that “whosoever will” refers to only those given of God the grace and will to believe. As Paul says: “For it is God Who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13 MKJV). However, there is nothing in Scripture that says only certain ones will ever believe (be sure to read our links below, which will explain everything clearly and Scripturally).
The problem is that the tormented people in the NRC believe men and their lies rather than God and His Truth. They believe what men say the Bible says rather than what the Bible says. They give the glory due to God to a man, John Calvin, contrary to the admonition of God’s Word:
“But I say this, that every one of you says, I am of Paul, and I of Apollos, and I of Cephas, and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you, or were you baptized in the name of Paul?” (1 Corinthians 1:12-13 MKJV)
Even such a man of God as Paul, to whom God gave so much revelation and honor as to write a goodly portion of the Bible, was not to be the focus of a believer in Christ. How much less a man like Calvin, who was not a man of God?
Calvin had no revelation from God.
Yes, he was an intelligent and educated man, a leader of men, speaking in terms of the world. But does this make one a man of God? No. Did Calvin have the Spirit of Christ? No. Was he a true believer? No; John Calvin was not a Biblically-defined Christian. He was a man-made Christian, unregenerate and fully dependent upon his own faculties of understanding. His understanding was founded in carnal reasoning. The Bible teaches, however, that the carnal mind is at enmity with God:
“For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the Law of God, neither indeed can it be. So then they who are in the flesh cannot please God” (Romans 8:6-8 MKJV).
Calvin had no revelation from God. Does that shock you? Read on for your sake, or remain in Hell for believing lies; it is your choice. I am thankful to announce good news to those who can receive it, because I have the truth and the answer for all NRC victims and Calvinists who believe his diabolical doctrine.
How John Calvin Came to His Doctrine
God has revealed to me how John Calvin formulated in his mind the doctrine that God has predestinated certain few to eternal bliss with Him, while He has predestinated the vast majority to eternity in horrible torment, which doctrine is a concoction of devils. The devil’s purpose is to keep people in their darkness and bondage (hell) and to torment them. They do not have to wait for a hell beyond this life – they live it here and now. Who can deny it? Hell is the spiritual fire of those who do not know God, but must they remain there forever? Not at all – guaranteed by God and the Scriptures! Believe the Truth!
He judged after the outward appearance.
Here is how John Calvin came to embrace and teach the doctrine of predestination, some for Heaven but many more for eternal damnation:
In studying the Scriptures, Calvin saw the truth of the reconciliation of all things, for that truth runs throughout the Bible; it is everywhere from Genesis to Revelation (see The Restitution of All Things section at our site). Nevertheless, John had a problem. He could not reconcile the Scriptures with experience. Not having the Spirit of God to reveal the whole truth to him (I John 2:20,27), he chose to trust his experience instead of the Word of God. He judged after the outward appearance, and could not believe the truth that God would eventually save every soul.
After all, he saw wicked men of every sort, men who did not profess faith in Jesus Christ, men who were atheists and reprobate in every way, dying. “How,” he asked himself, “could it be that God is saving all men? I see them dying in sin; therefore it cannot be that the Bible teaches that all men will be saved.”
Here was another faulty doctrine that formed a tangled web from which John could not extricate himself: He believed that men can only be saved in the one life they live on earth. The following verse is the most quoted to defend the doctrine that all men must be saved in this life, or be forever doomed:
“And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment…” (Hebrews 9:27 MKJV).
It says nothing of men having only this life to have saving faith in Christ.
But this verse does not say what people think or are taught it says. Reading on:
“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many. And to those who look for Him He shall appear the second time without sin to salvation” (Hebrews 9:28 MKJV).
You see, it speaks of Jesus Christ and of His dying once, as it is appointed for all men. It says nothing of men having only this life to have saving faith in Christ, nothing at all.
Yes, it mentions judgment, but here is a Biblical definition of the word “judgment”:
“Didn’t You exist before time began, O LORD, my God, my Holy One? We will not die! O LORD, You have appointed the Babylonians to bring judgment. O Rock, You have destined them to correct us” (Habakkuk 1:12 GW).
God’s judgment is not of condemnation, but of correction. That is why Christ came and laid down His life. He did not come as did Muhammad, killing. He rebuked His disciples, James and John, the “sons of thunder,” for thinking destruction:
“And He sent messengers before His face. And they went and entered into a village of the Samaritans to make ready for Him. And they did not receive Him, because His face was going toward Jerusalem. And seeing, His disciples James and John said, Lord, do You desire that we command fire to come down from Heaven and consume them, even as Elijah did? But He turned and rebuked them and said, You do not know of what spirit you are. For the Son of Man has not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save. And they went to another village” (Luke 9:52-56 MKJV).
The reason for Christ’s coming is to restore all things to wholeness.
And these were Samaritans, a people despised and rejected by the Jews. If the Lord was showing mercy to them, as He did the Samaritan woman at the well, why would He reject anyone forever and earmark one for eternal torment? Did He not send His apostles to preach forgiveness to those who were not His people, the Gentiles? Have not all sinned and come short of the glory of God? But there is a timing for everything:
“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly” (Romans 5:6 KJV).
“For God has shut up all in unbelief, so that He might show mercy to all” (Romans 11:32 MKJV).
Ask yourself this: Why would the Lord, with the knowledge of God, forgive His killers from the cross? If they, proving themselves to be the sons of Satan that He called them, were predestined by God to never know Him or be delivered from hell, what is the point? Why would Jesus bother? What kind of forgiveness would that be, if not entirely empty and hypocritical? But being God and Love incarnate, Who never fails or faints, He did not write them off, as the doctrine of predestination to eternal hell claims. Listen to what He said:
“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to her, how often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not! Behold, your house is left to you desolate. For I say to you, You shall not see Me from now on until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the Name of the Lord’” (Matthew 23:37-39 MKJV).
Men blaspheme His Name, Who is Love.
The time comes when those who have persecuted and rejected Christ will be turned back to Him. The apostle Paul confirms this:
“For I do not desire you to be ignorant, brothers, of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel shall be saved, as it is written: ‘The Deliverer shall come out of Zion, and He shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob’” (Romans 11:25-26 EMTV).
It is simply not true that all men are called to repentance in this life only. Men have formulated a most unjust, defamatory character sketch of the Just and Merciful One. They blaspheme His Name, Who is Love.
Which of you would choose to have children and predetermine the majority of them to horrible, eternal torment? Or would you condemn your children to eternal torment after seeing their lives, though they were not particularly lawless or disobedient? Do you call that “love” or “justice”? Even a wicked and unregenerate world does not do that unless mad. You, being evil, would not do such a thing! I know you would not do so, unless you were perfectly insane – or perhaps the brainsoiled victim of a tyrant like Calvin, who repeatedly proved his vindictive, murderous spirit, on record.
How can God care less for men than men do for a cat or dog?
Is not mercy for the sinner, who needs it, and not for the righteous, who does not?
“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him?” (Matthew 7:11 MKJV)
If nature is qualified and appointed by God to teach you that it is wrong for a man to have long hair (1 Corinthians 11:14), then permit nature to teach you that your Creator would not do as you have been taught. Observe how fallen man cares for his own. Consider how animals nurture and protect their young. Look at how men will gather to rescue a dog from drowning or a cat from a tree. How can you conclude that God, Who is merciful and full of compassion, cares less for men, whom He created in His own image and for whom He laid down his life, than men do for a cat or dog? If He condemned the heathen, who are without the Law, for passing their sons through the fire, why would He, the Author and Essence of the Law, do it Himself to those He created in His image?
No, Calvin has taught you lies, and you have been subject to his evil doctrine, so you have not been free by believing the truth instead. I tell you the truth.
Plainly seeing that not all are saved in this life, and erroneously thinking that they must be if they are to be saved at all, Calvin settled on a solution to his quandary. He decided that the Scriptures that teach the reconciliation of all things must pertain only to those certain few chosen for salvation, that all of them, the few chosen, will be saved.
God has predestinated nobody for eternal torment.
But what of the remainder of mankind? Logic would demand that if certain were predestined for salvation, the rest must be predestined to hell. What other rationally consistent conclusion could there be? Well, logic is fine and good, but if the components making the equation are not legitimate, then the logic will only serve to deceive, steal, kill, and destroy.
People, God is not like that at all, and it can be proven by God’s Word. The Bible, in Its original tongues, does not even suggest such a thing, as Calvin has blasphemously dictated It does, and as faulty Biblical translation by indoctrinated translators may indicate. The efficacy of Christ’s shed blood is infinitely greater than the wicked and unregenerate teacher allows. God has predestined nobody for eternal torment. Here is His purpose, even as He declared it:
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep” (John 10:10-11 MKJV).
Calvin had more than a small fraction of error. He is a destroyer to this day.
I know you have many questions and objections. I know you believe, as you have been taught, that Calvin was a great man of God. You may be thinking, “Who in his right mind can question him, a father of the reformation and a great theologian?” As I said, John was quite intelligent in the world’s terms. He studied much, and he could understand and formulate doctrine from the Scriptures, as few others. But he did so by leaning on his own understanding. Unless a man has faith from God and receives revelation from Him, he ends up with foolish and destructive conclusions. That perfectly describes Calvin, who ended up a destroyer, scattering rather than gathering.
We all know that a good meal can only be a good meal if all the food is good. If only a small fraction of it is poison, one who eats that meal may die. Calvin had more than a small fraction of error. He is a destroyer to this day. He has slain many with his doctrines. As he slew Servetus and Castellion in his day, so he has continued to destroy lives today, keeping all those who are taught to revere him and his theology in a terrible, tormenting darkness – all but the self-righteous that is, who trust in their virtue to trust in grace, a subtle and deceptive form of self-righteousness:
“They are enclosed in their own fat; with their mouth they speak proudly” (Psalms 17:10 MKJV).
Will your teachers tell you to avoid me as a false teacher and heretic, saying I lead souls astray because I condemn Calvin’s doctrine and theirs? Will your teachers tell you not to listen to me lest I should cause you to perish? Isn’t that ironic? How can those whom God has ordained for eternal perishment be led astray? What, then, do you stand to lose by hearing me out and considering all that I say?
All those with the mind of Christ will denounce Calvin’s words and ways.
If you believe or even suspect you are damned already, and are even now condemned to living with such a terrible uncertainty (or surety), why not gain peace of mind by knowing the Truth? Will you believe me, or will you believe Calvin? Which of us speaks the truth? Will you allow your spiritual leaders to continue supporting Calvin’s lies, or will you believe God Who sends me to speak the truth for your sakes? God will give grace to hear and believe, as He wills.
Yes, Calvin was an unrepentant murderer, and it is on record; this is not mere opinion. We will prove it to you. I solemnly tell you that all those in their right minds, with the mind of Christ that is, will denounce Calvin’s words and ways, and flee his murderous influence.
I know you believe the Bible says few will be saved, many are doomed to the lake of fire forever and ever, and all men who will be saved must come to repentance in Christ in this life. These are lies mixed in with the truth, as a meal with both good food and poison, more than enough to destroy.
You need not despair for those loved ones you have lost who did not live righteously according to the NRC or Calvin’s definitions and interpretations of Scripture. There is an explanation from God:
“For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the first-fruit, and afterward they who are Christ’s at His coming; then is the end, when He delivers the Kingdom to God, even the Father; when He makes to cease all rule and all authority and power. For it is right for Him to reign until He has put all the enemies under His feet. The last enemy made to cease is death” (1 Corinthians 15:22-26 MKJV).
“Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, Who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts. And then shall each one have praise of God” (1 Corinthians 4:5 MKJV).
If you recognize your sinfulness, do not blame God, but seek His mercy.
Perhaps the greatest of Calvin’s lies is that of the predestination of men to eternal hellfire. How wicked a charge against Jesus Christ! How vile is this character assassination of the One Who died for us, Who perfectly exhibited the very opposite of what this man and his lackeys teach! This is nothing but the fruit of an evil, self-righteous, vindictive, diabolical monster, and his fruits have abundantly proven my description of him, well beyond the shadow of doubt for those who have any understanding at all.
Calvin is a perfect representation of the self-righteous Pharisee the Lord described:
“And He spoke this parable to certain ones who trusted in themselves, that they were righteous, and despised others” (Luke 18:9 MKJV).
Do not continue on the path of those who trust in themselves, and if, as the publican, you recognize your sinfulness, do not blame God for it, but seek His mercy as did the publican, whom Jesus said was counted innocent with God. Shall God slay or torment those whom He declares innocent? Know the truth of His Word:
“The one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out” (John 6:37).
“And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will make all men come to Me” (John 12:32 BBE).
Again, I say to you, do not allow any self-righteous and ignorant man with however many credentials of men to tell you that the “all” or “whosoever wills” refers only to those select few predestined – or that only those predestined come to Him. For a time it appears that way, for only those He has called and chosen can come, but know this: If your time does not come in this life, it will come in the next, however many lives or dimensions you must inhabit or navigate.
Whether included in the elect for now or not, you must know that each of you will receive in the next life what you have sown here, so whoever you are and whatever you do, be certain that you will reap accordingly:
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that he also will reap” (Galatians 6:7 MKJV).
This is not a threat, except to those who set their hearts on doing evil. Otherwise, the Scripture says:
“Who will harm you if you are devoted to doing what is good?” (1 Peter 3:13 GW)
When your change comes, as with Job, you will know it. You will see and know God. There will be no guessing. God will not hold you in suspense as His child. One definitely knows when he or she is saved. See 1 John 5:13, 1 Thessalonians 1:4-6, and 1 Corinthians 2:9-16.
