The Lies of Muhammad vs. the Gospel of Jesus Christ

We got the following notes from a Muslim:

Note #1:

Dear All,
I am muslim and i always keep prying to Almighty to help our mind kind to help them find the truth which with no doubt keeps on raising day by day.
May God help you all.
Shams

Note #2:

With the name of Allah; the Beneficent, the Merciful.

Let’s visualize ‘LIE’ first:

Lie is like a bubble. Bubbles flying in the air. Here is something about Bubble:

  • EMPTY but with air.
  • VERY WEAK.
  • VERY LIGHT.
  • VERY SMALL LIFE.

Bubbles only take our attentions.

Lies only take our attentions so we move away from our duties.

Those who play with the Bubbles (Lies), later find themselves that Bubbles were playing with them!

We have lies all around us, so be careful.

Now what is the Light of Islam:

When a Messenger from Allah (the God) comes and conveys the message, that message spreads very quickly.

Just like ‘light’ spreads around very quickly and it OVERCOMES the ‘darkness’.

When colors are displayed, many people see the truth.

When people see the truth, which makes sense, they accept the truth without any enforcement.

  • The same happened after Moses (peace be upon him), when his followers spread the message.
  • The same happened after Jesus (peace be upon him), when his discipline spread the message.
  • The same happened after Muhammad (peace be upon him), when his companions spread the message.

However when the message became impractical, people moved towards their wishes and then lost their sight.

Many Muslims are not displaying Islam in their actions. How would other people (non-Muslims) see the true Islam?

Well, Allah has his plans. He guides to whomever He wishes. Since people (non-Muslims) started to ponder on Islam (in the books & Qur’an) out of curiosity they got the light. I do think that they can see a BIG difference between Islam in the Qur’an and Islam in our lives!

We Muslims have to show the real Islam through our actions. This itself is a Da’wah (invitation) towards the truth.

As for the saying that Islam was spread with sword; it is against the preaching of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) to enforce Islam.

The use of sword in the old days was as much as the use of guns, pistols etc in these days by the police, security, military etc. These are the weapons against transgressors. If transgressors are not controlled by the government there will not be peace left. However the misuse of these weapons is NOT ALLOWED anywhere. Unfortunately, in these days weapons are not being used against transgressors as much as they are used against innocents, and all through lies.

If the compulsion of religion was important, the God would had made everyone to following one religion.

The Qur’an [al-Baqarah(2):256-257]

  • There is no compulsion in religion. True guidance has been made clearly distinct from error. Therefore, whoever renounces ‘Taghut’ (forces of Satan) and believes in Allah has grasped the firm hand-hold that will never break. Allah, Whose hand-hold you have grasped, hears all and knows all.
  • Allah is the Wali (Protector) of those who believe, He brings them out of the depth of darkness and leads them into the light. As for the unbelievers, whose wali (protector) is Taghut (forces of Satan), he takes them out of the light and leads them into the depths of darkness. As a result they will become the companions of the Hell fire and shall live therein forever.

The Qur’an [at-Taubah(9):31-33]

  • They (Jews and Christians) have taken their rabbis and priests to be their Lords beside Allah and so they did with Messiah (Jesus), the son of Mary, although they were commanded to worship none but One Ilah (Allah); besides Whom there is none worthy of worship. Exalted be He above those whom they associate with Him.
  • They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths but Allah seeks to perfect His light even though the disbelievers may dislike it.
  • It is He Who has sent His Messenger with guidance and true Deen (faith) to make it prevail over all other deens (faiths) even though the pagans may hate it.

Light prevails over darkness, without any force.

Regards,
Abdullah

Paul’s reply:

Greetings in the Lord Jesus Christ, Abdullah,

You are speaking to the wrong people about using force to spread a religious ideology. You should present your argument about the true meaning of Islam to your fellow Muslims that use violence and threats to bring about “submission.” That is an argument, however, that you would lose, perhaps along with your life.

We are not using physical violence or threats. If we compel people to consider their wrong ways and the hard speeches that they make against the Lord Jesus by our speaking out against those things, it is to deliver them from their sins and evil ways so that they might have life, and live to see good. Read our paper about the difference between an extremist Muslim and an extremist Christian. If you have red it already, read it again, more carefully this time.

The Answer to Islam

This paper will show you what Muhammad did say, which sayings contradict the things you report of him. It should not be considered unusual that Muhammad said some milder things together with his harsher call to arms. He used both “the carrot and the stick” to attain his ends. In other words, he was either friendly or belligerent, as it suited his purposes – subduing his enemies, which was anyone that did not honor him and his false god, Allah.

You write:

When a Messenger from Allah (the God) comes and conveys the message, that message spreads very quickly.

Just like ‘light’ spreads around very quickly and it OVERCOMES the ‘darkness’. When colors are displayed, many people see the truth.

Cancer also spreads very quickly, as do panic, fear, and greed. What about lies and gossip? A good reputation can be ruined overnight. Islam is like those things. It is an evil that came by force of arms and persuasion of the benefits available to one in this world to join. If those were not sufficient, there were promises of carnal delights in the world to come. The spread of the gospel was very different. It calls on people to lose their lives in this world. It was spread by the blood of the saints who laid down their lives as they brought the gospel of Christ to the people. Rather than shedding the blood of those they were sent to, as did Muhammad, the preachers of Christ had their blood shed by those that rejected God.

You go on to say:

When people see the truth, which makes sense, they accept the truth without any enforcement.

That is not true. The Bible says that the gospel does not make sense to those that are lost:

“But also if our gospel is hidden, it is hidden to those being lost, in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving ones, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ (who is the image of God) should not dawn on them” (2 Corinthians 4:3-4 MKJV).

Jesus also said that His gospel was opened only to those whom God gave to hear it, and to others it was hidden, as it has been with you to this day:

“And He said, To you [His disciples] it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest in parables, that seeing they might not see, and hearing, they might not understand” (Luke 8:10 LITV).

The ways of man make sense to man, but the ways of God do not:

“My thoughts are not your thoughts, and My ways are not your ways, declares the LORD” (Isaiah 55:8 GW).

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God” (1 Corinthians 1:18 KJV).

“For since, in the wisdom of God, the world by wisdom did not know God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save those who believe. For the Jews ask for a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness. But to them, the called-out ones, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God” (1 Corinthians 1:21-24 MKJV).

You write:

We Muslims have to show the real Islam through our actions.

Who are you to say that the terrorists and jihadists are not the real face of Islam? You are trusting in your own righteousness and works. Here is what God says about those:

“But we are all as the unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as a menstruation cloth. And we all fade as a leaf, and like the wind our iniquities take us away” (Isaiah 64:6 LITV).

That is why Islam is a stumbling block to faith in Christ, Who alone is righteous and capable of saving us from our wretched state. Islam denies God Who is the Savior of all men.

You write about the use of the sword in Islam:

These are the weapons against transgressors. If transgressors are not controlled by the government there will not be peace left. However the misuse of these weapons is NOT ALLOWED anywhere. Unfortunately, in these days weapons are not being used against transgressors as much as they are used against innocents, and all through lies.

Yes, and who decides who is a transgressor? Would not we, because we preach Jesus Christ as Lord, be characterized among the transgressors, to be put to the sword? Certainly that is what the Koran says and that is what some zealous Muslims have done. God forbid we would put our trust in corrupt men to decide in these matters! We no more trust Islam to do right than the Catholic Church, or any man-made religious organization.

Did you know Islam was born of Catholicism? That is where you got the following false doctrine of eternal torment in hell:

As for the unbelievers, whose wali (protector) is Taghut (forces of Satan), he takes them out of the light and leads them into the depths of darkness. As a result they will become the companions of the Hell fire and shall live therein forever.

And the next quote you give us demonstrates Islam’s denial of the Son of God, Who is God, and there is no other god beside Him (the “trinity” is a lie):

They (Jews and Christians) have taken their rabbis and priests to be their Lords beside Allah and so they did with Messiah (Jesus), the son of Mary, although they were commanded to worship none but One Ilah (Allah); besides Whom there is none worthy of worship. Exalted be He above those whom they associate with Him.

As for this saying…

It is He Who has sent His Messenger with guidance and true Deen (faith) to make it prevail over all other deens (faiths) even though the pagans may hate it.

…we will see Who will prevail. We already know the outcome:

“For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, so that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living…For it is written: As I live, says the LORD, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God” (Romans 14:9-11 EMTV).

True, godly, and life-giving submission comes only by the wholehearted worship of the Lord Jesus Christ. While Islam has taken up the sword of flesh, we have taken up the Sword of the Spirit in Christ, which is more powerful and will prevail. Light does indeed prevail over darkness. And the Lord God, Who comes with fire, will burst all bubbles of lies and vanity and will burn up all refuse. Having experienced His coming, and being purged by that fire, we know what we are talking about, and so will you.

Paul

Victor’s reply:

Abdullah,

Your illustration of lies is not a true one at all; it is a lie in itself. Consider your comparison of lies to bubbles, with the aspects you mention. You say, for example, that lies are very weak. We disagree and the whole world disagrees with you. By lies, the Roman Catholic Church has conquered for 1700 years. By lies, a Catholic wife taught her husband, Muhammad, that he was listening to Gabriel and hearing from God. As a result, Islam has slaughtered many. Today, Islamists blow themselves up because believing lies. Lies kill. How then can you say that lies are “weak”? Jesus warned His disciples against lies. He would not bother warning anyone against that which is “very weak.”

You say that lies are empty, very light and “very small life.” Even if you think to have the truth, do you not believe that the rest of the world suffers in its lies without Islam? If not, then why should you convert the world to Islam? Why bother? However, wherever Islam goes, we see churches, temples and synagogues burned, nominal Christians, Buddhists, Hindus and others killed and their goods plundered. We see Muslims in uproars everywhere, demonstrating, raging, shouting “Death” to many. Not so with Jews and Christians, not even false ones. In Gaza, Hamas and Fatah are killing each other.

Do you see Democrats and Republicans killing each other in the U.S.? No.

Do you see the various political factions in Israel killing each other? No.

Do Jews have the same rights in Islamic countries that they offer Muslims in Israel? No.

Do you see Christian pilgrims trampling on each other to death in St. Peter’s Square, or Jews trampling each other at the Western Wall or anywhere in Israel, as with Muslims in Mecca? No.

Do you see the Jews going about kidnapping Palestinians or Muslims, or shooting Muslim women in the back over some insignificant quote from Muslim leaders, even remarks that are even more provocative? No.

Do you see Jews and Christians blowing themselves up to kill civilian Muslims? No.

We see Muslims who convert to nominal Christianity killed by Islamic law. Do you see Christians who become Muslims killed for it in the West or if a Jew converts to Christianity or Islam, do the Jews kill that Jew? No.

Israel drops leaflets, warning the civilian populations of coming danger, as recently in Lebanon, thus giving the enemy an undesirable and costly advantage. Do the Palestinians, Hamas, Hezbollah, Al Qaeda, or any other Muslim warring parties do so? No. On the contrary, the more they can kill, by surprise, the better they like it. Murderers, inspired by Muhammad and the Koran.

Do you see the Prime Minister of Israel stand up and condemn a small nation to extinction? No. Iran does. Iraq has. Syria has and does; Egypt has; Jordan has, and almost all Arab/Muslim nations back them in their call for Israel’s annihilation. Murderers, motivated by Muhammad and the Koran.

The list is endless and gruesome, and not isolated or infrequent in the Muslim world, Abdullah, and all these things are promoted by the Ayatollahs and the Mullahs. The prominent leaders of Islam justify themselves by the Koran in doing all these evils they call good. They are murderers, butchers of the first order. Is this not the truth, Abdullah? Or would you call these things mere “bubbles”?

Many are the lies Muslims believe and many are the lives they take, following the Koran and Muhammad.

Tell me, Abdullah, if non-Muslim people believe lies, and lies are very weak, light, empty and powerless (very small life?), then why bother with those people? Leave them alone; they have nothing to fear, according to your illustration.

However, lies are quite powerful, as we have shown you, and as all of nature shows you. Satan does not come as one who speaks truth but as one who speaks lies. In doing so, he has destroyed much. He is known as the liar, the murderer and the destroyer. Do you not know these things? If not, it is because you do not have the light of knowledge. If you do not have the light of knowledge, true knowledge that is, then you are still in darkness. Darkness and lies are synonymous (one and the same). Do lies destroy? Certainly. They are destroying you and you are destroying others in turn, as you preach darkness. As the Bible says:

“Wisdom is better than weapons of war; but one sinner destroys much good” (Ecclesiastes 9:18 MKJV).

Sinners are those who believe lies and live by them. Read our paper. How can you argue with us when we speak the truth? You can do so because lies are far more powerful than you realize. They snare you as we speak and you do not even know it. That is how powerful a lie is. Nevertheless, as light dispels darkness, so the truth dispels lies. We speak the truth and, by the grace of God, your darkness will be dispelled, your lies done away, and you will be free and full of joy, as we are, knowing the True God, Who laid His life down for you, something Muhammad did for no man.

How do we know Jesus laid down His life for us? Because He took it up again and gave it to us. Only God can do that. We know Him. We speak to Him and He speaks to us. He lives, Abdullah. (He is one, not three.) I am very safe in saying that Muhammad does not speak to you, nor do you speak to him. Do you know that I am right? Muhammad is dead. Jesus Christ lives. Even now, Muhammad is not in control of his destiny. Jesus Christ controls all, including Muhammad. Jesus is over both good and evil, and will bring all men to salvation in their due times, you included.

The Bible says this of Jesus Christ:

“All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men” (John 1:3-4 MKJV).

And: “He was the true Light; He enlightens every man coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world came into being through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, He gave to them authority to become the children of God, to those who believe on His name, who were born, not of bloods, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but were born of God” (John 1:9-13 MKJV).

Jesus said of Himself:

“Then Jesus spoke again to them, saying, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” (John 8:12 MKJV).

This is wonderful news for you, if you can receive and believe it. You have no idea!

Knowing the One Who has made us free, here and now,

Victor

Paul’s note to Shams:

Shams,

We have answered the forward called "Lie and Light," which was authored by Abdullah. Please read our replies and send them to Abdullah, if you can, and also to all your contacts that they might hear the Word of the Almighty that He has given us to speak to Muslims, which is the Word of Truth that we speak plainly to all. If it is the Truth that you seek, God has answered your prayer. If it is not, He still has spoken for judgment.

Paul
