There is only one “Path of Truth,” and His Name is the Lord Jesus Christ. Though many “paths of truth” are claimed by men, The Path of Truth and way of salvation is found only within the Son of Man, Mediator between God and men. “The Lord is my Rock, and my Fortress, and my Deliverer. The God Who is my Rock, in Him will I trust. He is my Shield, and the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower, and my Refuge, my Savior” (2 Samuel 22:2-3 MKJV).
Hi Kenneth,
It appears you have us mixed up with an organization In South Africa, started by Nicol Campbell, called “The School of Truth,” which published a periodical some time ago called “The Path of Truth.”
We have no association whatsoever with Campbell’s organization, though we have had correspondence with them because of similar confusion on the part of others. I include that correspondence following this letter. Let it be known by all that “The School of Truth” has nothing to do with the Truth, the Lord Jesus Christ. Please share this with your family.
We received an email that quotes from your publication, “The Path of Truth.” That is also the name of our website. Naturally we compared the Path of Truth, Whom we personally know, to what is presented as your path. There is a profound, diametrical difference. So which is true?
By the Spirit of God Who dwells in us, we will show you and all others that your path is false.
I quote from your publication:
“The only true change and upliftment that can take place in man and his world arises invisibly in the hearts and minds of individuals as they open themselves to eternal Self. From the beginning God-as-man longs to come into expression. Heaven longs to come on earth.”
Now from the Word of God:
“There is none who understands; there is none who seeks God” (Romans 3:11 EMTV)
“And the disciples said to [Jesus], ‘Why do You speak to them in parables?’ He answered and said to them, ‘Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them’” (Matthew 13:10-11 MKJV).
“And John answered and said, ‘A man can receive nothing unless it is given to him from Heaven’” (John 3:27 MKJV).
God the Giver, not man, decides who has what, and when. How contrary is this central fact of life to your gospel, which says, in essence, “Heaven can do nothing unless a man opens himself to It.”
But Jesus said:
“You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you shall ask of the Father in My Name, He may give it to you” (John 15:16 MKJV).
This is the true Gospel. God is in full control through His Son. All false gospels such as yours have one thing in common: They all say you are in control; your destiny is in your own hands; God is within you and at your disposal. But none of you has God within you because you haven’t been born of Him through Jesus Christ, the Last Adam Who is a life-giving Spirit. You operate under the soulish powers of the first Adam.
Under Campbell’s direction, you’ve turned God into an impersonal force, an undiscovered or untapped internal gold mine, which, when properly accessed, grants every wish that is in “alignment with the universe.” This is same old, same old “New Age” recycled heathen balderdash. It is satanic self-aggrandizement, regardless of any appearance of humility and talk of compliance with higher reality.
Satan comes as an angel of light to seduce men to eat from the Tree of Knowledge, in order to be as God. They are enticed to serve themselves by worshipping the prince of darkness in the high places he inhabits. God’s servants are sent to destroy the works of the devil and pull down his lofty strongholds:
“Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world’s rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:11-12 MKJV).
The man of sin is very good at appearing humble, when he is permitted to sit on his throne. God is no longer permitting that.
Campbell’s false gospel has done away with the stark reality of man’s sin and his utter depravity and helplessness to overcome it. Campbell has bypassed the blood and the cross, showing you another way into the wedding feast, without procuring the clean wedding garment that represents the righteousness of God. And by publishing his teachings, you deny others the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and His cross – the only way to receive and walk in the righteousness of God.
Of the Savior of all men, Campbell writes:
“The Presence of God was supremely manifest in the man wearing sandals and coat without seam, whom his disciples called ‘Master’ and whom history knows as Jesus of Nazareth. So profound is the Master’s example that many use the name Jesus-Christ for God’s presence In humanity. Yet the Presence in the Master is available without limitation in all people— as they open their hearts and minds to It.” [Added bolding.]
Who needs Christ when the Presence in Christ is already in you? You are your own Christ, and can tap into your inner anointing any time you want. What a diabolically twisted philosophy, which pretends to give honor to God and His Anointed, but transfers it to men! This is backdoor thievery.
Your heist attempts to neutralize God by denying Him any personality or will. Campbell, in his darkness and arrogance, calls God’s Presence an “It.” God, according to Campbell, is simply there, passively waiting to supply the power, while you supply the will. But Jesus, as a man like we are, said to God, “Not My will, but Your will be done.”
Observe Campbell’s sleight of hand in this sequence from a chapter entitled “Prosperity is Yours” in My Path of Truth (how true that he calls it “my” and not “the”):
“I think most of you are familiar with the admonition: ‘Commit thy way unto the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass.’
In practically every part of the country to which I have gone, in some house or other I have seen that quotation from the Bible on a little plaque, perhaps in the hall, in the dining room or in a bedroom, and most of the people living in those houses and seeing those words before them have no real faith in God.
It sounds so reassuring, does it not, ‘Commit thy way unto the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass’, but what does this ‘committing thy way’ mean, and who is ‘the Lord’? How do I commit my way unto Him? If you think of Him as a personality, the whole message is lost, but, if you read it this way, ‘Commit thy way unto the Law, trust also in It, and It shall bring your good to pass’, then you have found the secret of the inner meaning of the promise.”
Consider the absurdity of the logic presented here. Would you say these things of your boss or earthly father – that they have no say in your life, but are mere representations of principles or forces, which you can access as you please? Isn’t God called our Lord and Heavenly Father? How can He therefore be equated to an indifferent, latent power?
And what about you, who are made in God’s image? If someone entrusted himself to you, is it only to your ideals, or is there something much more to having a committed relationship with you? The relationship is not just with what someone thinks you think, but is specifically with you and what you actually think and do.
The same goes for having a relationship with God. It’s not about dos and don’ts and doctrines, but about the One Who teaches and guides us in the Way of Life and determines the Dos and Don’ts, for they wouldn’t exist without Him. Only by a relationship with God the Being can we come to truly know His mind and understand His Law.
Consider the example of Abraham, the father of those who believe because they have received the faith of God (which Campbell criticizes many for not having). What happened to Abraham when his way was committed to the Lord? God required him to offer up his son Isaac.
The commandment didn’t come because Abraham committed himself to the Law of God (though he was a lawful man). The Law of God specifically says you shouldn’t offer your children as a sacrifice. Abraham, to be committed to God, had to hear from the living God that which was specifically required of him. In obedience to this personal commandment, Abraham forfeited his righteousness that came from doing what he thought was right and was made one with the will of God, receiving His promise of great blessing:
“I have sworn by Myself, says the LORD, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son, that I will bless you greatly, and I will multiply your Seed greatly like the stars of the heavens, and like the sand which is on the seashore. Your Seed will possess the gate of his enemies. In your Seed will all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed My Voice” (Genesis 22:16-18 HNV).
That Seed is Jesus Christ, Who laid down His life for mankind as God’s only begotten Son. Jesus said, “My sheep hear My Voice.” Our relationship with God is through Christ, and like our father Abraham, we obey His Voice and are blessed.
Don’t think that the many great accomplishments of faith claimed by Campbell, even if authentic, prove he is right. The powers of the fallen Adam are impressive. Didn’t Jesus foretell that many would come testifying to Him of the miracles they did in His Name, and He would respond: “I never knew you! Depart from Me, those working lawlessness!” (Matthew 7:23 MKJV)?
As it is written, following the verse we just discussed (“Commit your way to the Lord…”), wherein Campbell likens God to “The Secret”:
“Surrender yourself to the LORD, and wait patiently for Him. Do not be preoccupied with an evildoer who succeeds in his way when he carries out his schemes” (Psalms 37:7 GW).
You people need to drop your preoccupation with Campbell and his wicked teachings, and surrender yourselves to the One Who bought you with His blood, to Whom you owe your lives.

Dear Paul Cohen,
Your email of Fri.13 Feb 2009 has been referred to me.
We note with interest your comments, and thank you for your email.
“We have no wish to attempt to dissuade any person from following the teachings of any religious body other than ours, and we have no desire to enter into any discussions of a controversial nature. Argument can never be of a peaceful nature, and peace is what we are looking for”
Our reply goes to you with our thoughts of Love, and that with understanding you may experience God’s blessings for your Good.

School of Truth.
“…and peace is what we are looking for….”
And peace you will continue to be looking for and not finding because you won’t heed those who already have it:
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32 MKJV).
“Therefore if the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed” (John 8:36 MKJV).
As Jesus the Ethereal (we speak tongue-in-cheek, according to your ways and thoughts) has said:
“If you were blind, you would have no sin. But now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains” (John 9:41 MKJV).
If you believed, you wouldn’t dismiss Christ for ‘arguing’ against you, but would hear Him and repent of your sin. Your argument is with Him, because His accusation is against you:
“The LORD has an accusation to bring against the people who live in this land. Listen, Israel, to what He says: ‘There is no faithfulness or love in the land, and the people do not acknowledge Me as God’” (Hosea 4:1 GNB).
You can smugly say you don’t want to argue, but God has a controversy with you for spreading lies and spiritual dung in His Name. For this, He doesn’t hold you guiltless.
