*Disclaimer: To those who would read the title of this message and automatically assume that I am teaching that those who call upon the name of “Jesus” or “Yeshua” are not saved, I am not saying that at all. I believe that according to Romans 8:23, the Holy Spirit interprets the deep groanings of our hearts, and he knows who people are calling upon even when they have the pronunciation and spelling of his name wrong. But the Name of the Father and the Son is being restored in these last days, and so we have to move with the Holy Spirit and allow this revelation of his true name to come forth. We must not be content to remain stagnant but let us go on “unto perfection.”
By reading this verse in English, it would appear that the “name under heaven whereby we are saved” is JESUS CHRIST:
Acts 4
10Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ (Yahushua Messiah) of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom Elohim (God) raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
But a careful study in the prophet Zechariah reveals to us the true name of our High Priest YaHuWShuA the Messiah who is prophetically called “the Branch.” In this prophecy, the “high priest” has a name JOSHUA or YEHOSHUA in Modern Hebrew but YaHuWShuA is how it is rendered in Ancient Paleo Hebrew.
Zechariah 3:8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.
How can we be certain that Zechariah is being shown the Messiah rather than “Joshua the Son of Nun” from the days of Moses?
Let’s take a look at the entire prophecy:
Zechariah 3
1And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of YHWH, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
2And YHWH said unto Satan, YHWH rebuke thee, O Satan; even YHWH that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
3Now YHWShuA (Joshua) was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
4And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
*Note: what are these filthy garments on Joshua? Our Messiah came “in the likeness of sinful flesh that he could destroy sin in the flesh” (Romans 8:3). The filthy garment was the garment of his sinful body. When our Messiah “put off the body of sins in the flesh”, by his crucifixion, he then “put on the new incorruptible body” through his resurrection. (Colossians 2:11).
Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after Elohim (God) is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Colossians 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Messiah:
Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
Who created Messiah’s body? It was his heavenly Father who created Messiah’s earthly body:
Hebrews 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
Another proof of this is when we see the following verses in the Ancient Paleo Hebrew:
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning Elohim (God) created the heaven and the earth.
What does this verse really say in the Ancient Paleo Hebrew?
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning Elohim (God) created the Alef & the Tav.
The Greek Letters “Alpha & Omega” are the first and last letters in the Greek Alphabet. Our Messiah called himself “Alpha & Omega” in the book of Revelation as he is illustrated as the one who is eternal and he is the one who has no beginning nor end:
Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
In the Hebrew Alphabet, the first letter known as “Alpha” (in Greek) is “Aleph” and it is symbolized by the Ox or “the sacrificial animal.”
Every letter in the Ancient Paleo Hebrew Alphabet paints a picture of our Messiah.
The Aleph is the Ox or Sacrificial Animal!
The Last letter in the Ancient Paleo Hebrew is the letter “Tav” and it is in the shape of a cross.
These two Hebrew letters are “pictograph” of the cross where our Messiah was crucified.
Do you realize what the Aleph & Tav is painting a picture of?
It is a picture of the SACRIFICIAL ANIMAL BEING NAILED TO A CROSS!
Pictured here we see the ALEPH & TAV = The Sacrificial Animal being nailed to the cross!
The same thing is illustrated again in Zechariah 12:10:
Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon ME (YHWH) whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for HIM (Yahushua), as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
So we see that it was YHWH (the Heavenly Father) who was being pierced and it was “Yahushua” the Messiah (the Son) whose image that they will behold!
The Ancient Paleo Hebrew Characters reveals something even more astonishing.
What we see above in the Paleo Hebrew Characters is the following:
Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon Aleph & Tav H853whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for HIM (YaHuWShuA), H5921 for as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
What this is saying is that the House of David will mourn for YaHuWaH’s body (the Aleph & Tav—-the body that they have pierced) and they will mourn for YaHuWShua the Messiah!
Now we know who the “High Priest Joshua” is in Zechariah 3. It is none other than our Messiah YaHuWShuA:
Yod, Hey, Waw, Shin, Ayin
YaHuWShuA
You will notice that the name of the Son contains the letters of the Father plus two added letters, the “shin” which means “tooth” and the “ayin” which means “the eye.”
Yod = (Yad) the hand
Hey = Breath, Revelation, Inspiration, Wind
Vav (Waw) = the nail
Shin = the tooth
Ayin = the eye
Let’s continue with the prophecy in Zechariah 3:
5And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of YHWH stood by.
6And the angel of YHWH protested unto YHWShuA (Joshua), saying,
7Thus saith YHWH of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
8Hear now, O YHWShuA (Joshua) the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.
9For behold the stone that I have laid before YHWShuA (Joshua); upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith YHWH of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
10In that day, saith YHWH of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.
What are we reading about here? We are reading about YaHuWShuA the High Priest (our Messiah) receiving a crown upon his head (Revelation 19:12).
And the “stone” which the builders rejected (Acts 4:11) was laid before this High Priest named YaHuWShua! And this stone has “seven eyes” which are the “seven spirits of YHWH”:
Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of Elohim (God) sent forth into all the earth.
In this passage, we will note that the NAME of the “High Priest” is “Joshua” in English, but in Modern Hebrew, his name is YEHOSHUA. In Ancient Hebrew, there are no vowel points so the name is rendered as YHWSA or YaHuWShuA.
Now, let’s take a look at the meaning of the name Yehoshua in the Hebrew Strong’s Concordance:
Result of search for “joshua”:
#3091 Yhowshuwa` yeh-ho-shoo’-ah or Yhowshua {yeh-ho-shoo’-ah}; from 3068 and 3467; Jehovah-saved; Jehoshua (i.e. Joshua), the Jewish leader:–Jehoshua, Jehoshuah, Joshua. Compare 1954, 3442.
YHWSA = the Savior’s name in Paleo Hebrew minus the added vowels
YaHuWShuA
So how did we end up with YeHoShuA instead of YaHuWShuA?
The Letter “W” (the vav) was removed by the Masorites as seen by the name Yehoshua. The “vav” means “the nail” or the hook. Could it be that the Masorites did not want to believe that Yahushua Messiah was the same one who was “nailed to the tree”? Could it be that they removed the “waw” or the “vav” from the name for that reason?
In the 10th Century, the Masoretic Scribes of the Hebrew Scriptures invented a grammatical rule called “pre-tonal shortening” that says, that whenever the Heavenly Father’s name appears at the end of the names of prophets, his name (YAHU) would appear as it is.
Examples:
Isaiah = YeshaYAHU
Jeremiah = YirmeYAHU
Elijah = EliYAHU
Nathaniel = NetanYAHU
But in Modern Hebrew, a new grammatical rule was invented known as “pre-tonal shortening” which states that when the Father’s name comes at the beginning of a name, then it changes from a “Yahu” to a “Yeho.” This “pre-tonal” shortening rule did not exist in the days when YHWH revealed himself to Moses and the Prophets.
Hence the names of the prophets would’ve been spelled differently in the Ancient Hebrew than they are today in Modern Hebrew. Examples are seen as follows:
Joshua = Yehoshua = YAHUshua (ancient Hebrew)
Jonathan = Yehonathan = YAHUnathan (ancient Hebrew)
Jehovah = Yehovah = YAHUwah (ancient Hebrew)
The name of our Messiah is actually the name “Joshua” which is rendered “Yehoshua” in modern Hebrew, and Yahushua in ancient Hebrew due to the fact that there was no “pre-tonal shortening rule” in ancient Hebrew. The Hebrew name Joshua means “Yahu is salvation” or “Yahu has saved.”
When calling him Yahu’shua we are declaring that the Father has saved us in the past and he is continuing to save us in the present and in the future through his Son!
You will notice that the name of the Son contains the letters of the Father plus two added letters, the “shin” which means “the tooth” and the “ayin” which means “the eye.” Why the tooth and the eye? I will get to that later on in this teaching, but first, let’s understand how his name has been altered over time. Okay, so we can see that the name of our Saviour (Joshua) contains the following Hebrew Letters:
Yod = (Yad) the hand
Hey = Breath, Revelation, Inspiration, Wind
Vav (Waw) = the nail
Shin = the tooth
Ayin = the eye
You will notice that the name “Joshua” in Hebrew has the 4 Letters from the name of our Heavenly Father’s name which is called the “Tetragrammaton.” These 4 Letters are called “Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey” today in Modern Hebrew. The “vav” has the “v” sound today, but at one time (before the 10th Century) in Ancient Paleo Hebrew, the “vav” used to be pronounced as a “waw” or “w” sound. Hence we see the letters Y H W S A in the name of the High Priest. You will notice that the original pronunciation and spelling of the name Joshua in the original Ancient Hebrew is as follows: Yhowshuwa
The letter “w” is meant to have the sound of “oo” as in “cool.” With the letters shown above (before the Masorites added in the vowel points in the 10th Century) we can ascertain that the name sounds like this: Yo-u-shuwah with the letter “o” having the short vowel sound as in “otter.” Hence we have Yah-u-shua.
As we can see, the modern rendition of this name from the time of the 10th Century (when the Masorites added in the English vowel points for King James), it became Yehoshua.
Why did they make these changes? Because the Masorites believed that the name of our Heavenly Father was “too holy to pronounce” so they endeavored to “hide the name” from the Gentiles. They were afraid that the Gentiles would make his name “common” and they would blaspheme his name, so they no longer would use the sacred name YAH. They instead made his name appear as YEHO whenever the name of the Father appeared at the beginning of the name of a prophet:
The name of our Heavenly Father is YAH:
#3050 Yahh yaw contraction for 3068, and meaning the same; Jah, the sacred name:–Jah, the Lord, most vehement. Compare names in “-iah,” “- jah.”
#3068 Yhovah yeh-ho-vaw’ from 1961; (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God:–Jehovah, the Lord. Compare 3050, 3069.
Okay so we can see that the Father’s name of YHVH or in ancient Hebrew YHWH but the Masorites added in the vowels E O A for YEHOVAH but it should be YAHUWAH in the original Hebrew.
Now that we understand that the name of our Messiah YaHuWShuA contains the letters from the name of the Father YaHuWaH, we can now read this scripture and understand whose name is the name above every other name:
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Philippians 2
5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Messiah YaHuWShuA:
6Who, being in the form of Elohim (God), thought it not robbery to be equal with Elohim (God):
7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
*Note: Joshua, the High Priest in Zechariah 3 took upon him the “form of a servant” (Zechariah 3:8) and was made in the “likeness of men” (having filthy garments) in Zechariah 3:4.
Philippians 2
8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death (a servant is obedient to his Master), even the death of the cross.
9Wherefore Elohim (God) also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10That at the name of YHWShuA, (Jesus) every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11And that every tongue should confess that YaHuWShuA Messiah (Jesus Christ) is YaHuWaH (Lord), to the glory of Elohim (God) the Father.
What does the word “glory” mean in this passage? It means “to bear the image of the Father”!
You see the Son (YaHuWShuA) bears the image of his Father YaHuWaH and so the Name Above Every Other Name is the Name of the Father which is seen inside of the name of the Son!
YaHuWSHuA is the Name above every other Name!
These three letters of the Tetragrammaton (YHW) are found in the Savior’s birth Name — anything between these first letters are vowels that were supplied by the translators or scribes, and they are not part of the actual Name. English vowels act as pronunciation aid and are not part of the Sacred Name in its purist form. Some wish to use the pronunciation Yeshua as this is what is found in the Torah, as copied by the scribes. It should be realized, that the scribes, the copyist and the publishing houses add the vowel “e” at their own discretion. You will notice the obvious, the second letter of the Tetragrammaton, “H”, has been dropped and replaced with the “e” vowel.
Men have decided (in their own wisdom), to drop part of our Savior’s Name by removing the letters “W” so instead of YaHuWShuA (as seen in the original Hebrew text) we see his name as YeHoShuA.
They further shortened his name to YeShuA and removed the “Hey” or the “H” (part of the Father’s name). This is why in Arabic, his name is rendered ISA to Muslims. They translate the “Y” to a letter “I” and so we end up with just Yod-Shin-Ayin for his name instead of the full identity of the Father’s name YHWHSA. Why do you suppose the devil wants to conceal this identity? Because Islam teaches that the Father (YHWH) has no son, therefore they have to remove his Father’s name from the Son’s name!
The letter “J” did not exist in the English alphabet until around the 1500’s. The original 1611 King James Bible did not have any letter “J’s” in it at all! The letter “I” was used wherever the letter “J” is now used in Modern English Bibles. Hence the name Jesus used to be rendered as IeoSus. The letter “I” was a substitute for the letter “Y” and so one more letter belonging to the Father (the Yod) was removed from the Son’s name leaving only the letter “Shin” (the S). From the original Father’s name in the Son’s name (YHWSA) we ended up with ONLY the Letter “S” which is the letter found in Satan!
Satan’s name in Hebrew does not change one bit in the English, but the name of our Father and our Messiah have been completely altered!
#7854 satan saw-tawn’ from 7853; an opponent; especially (with the article prefixed) Satan, the arch-enemy of good:–adversary, Satan, withstand.
1st Chronicles 21:1 And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.
Ancient Paleo Hebrew renders it like this:
#853 ‘eth ayth apparent contracted from 226 in the demonstrative sense of entity; properly, self (but generally used to point out more definitely the object of a verb or preposition, even or namely):–(as such unrepresented in English).
You will note that there is a Hebrew word missing in the English translation. That word is #853 meaning an “entity” and who is this “entity”? The Hebrew characters reveal who the “entity” is that comes in front of the name DAVID, and it is the “Aleph & Tav” (Alpha & Omega in Greek). In other words, the “entity” that Satan is really after is our Messiah who is the one we call “Son of David.” You will notice that the letters in the name Satan are three Hebrew Letters:
Nun, Thet, Shin
King David’s name in 1st Chronicles 21:1 is rendered as the “Aleph & Tav” a prophetic picture of Messiah (Alpha & Omega in Greek). So while Satan stood up against Israel and he used David to number Israel, the real person that Satan was standing up against was our Messiah (the Aleph & Tav) as seen by the missing Hebrew word!
The deceased Messianic Jewish Evangelist and historian Art Katz, cites the orgins of the true name of the Messiah and the God of Israel from his former website:
The original Hebrew or Jewish Name of the professing Jewish Messiah, who was accepted as such by a certain section (some 3000 souls) of Israel, at and after His Appearance in Israel, some 2000 years ago. To them He was known as YAHU’SHUAH (abbreviated: Y’SHUAH, also pronounced YEHOSHUA or YESHUA). In time, over the first few centuries after Messiah, His Name was gradually changed to “Je-Zeus Khristos” by the pagan masses who converted and joined the originally Jewish Messianic Sect.
Out of this, Christianity was born, which was a mixture of originally pure Judaism, and gradually, progressive influences of pagan customs and traditions, together with a growing tide of an anti-Semitic spirit. This was greatly due to the instigation of influential leaders like Constantine the Great, who was a Zeus worshiper, and who purportedly converted to Christianity. It was also a natural process as a result of the infiltration of followers of the sun god, Zeus, into the Christian ranks. Even the name of their pagan idol Zeus was applied to their new-found Jewish Messiah – and Y’Shuah (the abbreviated transliteration of YAHU’SHUAH), became “Y’Zeus” or Je-Zeus – which became ‘Jesus’ in English (NOTE – the middle ‘s’ is pronounced as a ‘z’). In other languages, it took on various other forms.
And so we can see why the Heavenly Father allowed our Messiah Yahu’shua to take on the pagan name J’Zeus for a time, in order that he might win the heathen nations to himself. Like Queen Esther, our Messiah has a real Hebrew name. Esther’s true name was Hadassah. The Heavenly Father has allowed our Messiah to be given a heathen name for a season so that a later time in history, when “The fullness of the Gentiles” is accomplished, all the nations who love J’Zeus (Y’shua) would rise up to fast and pray for the House of Judah (Jews) to be saved from their enemies.
We are taught over and over again that the traditions of men make the word of our Father ineffective in our lives:
Mark 7:13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
Mark 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Messiah.
The Name of our Savior was weakened by the Masorites and then again by the English translators by dropping letters from his name— letters that points toward His Father, in his birth name. The Christian communities have gone along with this as it fits nicely alongside the accepted bogus name “Jesus.” Modern English Bibles preface at the front of Bible translations you will find the excuse for why the translators have decided not to use the Sacred Name of the God of Israel — in most cases they say they are following the “traditions of the fathers”, (the translators before them). Ultimately, this “tradition” comes down to the Christian translators from the Jewish scribes. So, the ground rule to recognize is: The translators in both camps (Christian & Jewish) have decided not to use the true identity of the Creator of all the things. In their folly, they have purged the Father’s Name from that of His Son. The Christians have done worse than the Jewish scribes did by changing the name and the true identity of our Savior completely to something else.
Jeremiah 2:11 Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit.
What is the Father’s Glory? It is the “Image” of his Son, and so the glory of the Father (Yahushua) has been exchanged for another “god” J’Zeus which means “Hail Zeus” in Greek!
Yod = the “arm or hand of YHWH”
Notice that this letter resembles and arm, with an elbow and an open hand.
This term “the arm of the Lord” or “the hand of the Lord” is an idiom repeated over and over again in the Scriptures. This phrase is a picture of strength and power, pointing to Yahu’shua the Messiah. It was the arm of YHWH that conquered Pharaoh and his army. And the psalmist declared, “You scattered Your enemies with Your mighty arm” (Psalm 89:10). The arm of YHWH brings deliverance and victory. Whenever you read about the hand or arm of YHWH in the Bible, this is prophetically referring to person of Yahu’shua. Our Heavenly Father has no image of his own for he is invisible. He can only be seen through the “image of the son” hence he has no “right arm” of his own, but his “right arm” is Messiah’s right arm.
Our Messiah is seated at the “right hand of power” or “the right hand of Elohim (God)” and this is a Hebrew idiom that denotes power and strength.
Mark 14:62 And Yahushua said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
Luke 22:69 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of Elohim (God).
Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
1st Peter 3:22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of Elohim (God); angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
Deuteronomy 26:8 And YHWH brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:
Psalm 136:12 With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Jeremiah 32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
Ezekiel 20:34 And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.
Hey = the Breath or Inspiration of YHWH
This Hebrew Letter resembles a person lifting up his arms to praise Yah and it also resembles the Messiah’s arms being stretched out to save us as his hands were nailed to the tree.
Elohim (God) breathed into Adam “the breath of life” (Genesis 2:7) and we know that our Messiah is the Father (YHWH) who came as the “last Adam” in the likeness of sinful man (1st Corinthians 15:45). The Hebrew letter “Hey” means “behold” or to “look upon.”
#1887 he’ hay a primitive particle; lo!:–behold, lo.
We can see that the Father’s image of the Son will be “looked upon” in Zechariah 12:10 when the House of Judah will “behold the lamb” who takes away the sin of the world!
Vav = the “nail”
Another letter in both YaHuWaH and YaHuW’shuA’s name is the Vav. This letter resembles a hook and means “nail.” The vav is also the 6th letter in the Hebrew alphabet, (the number of man). Yahu’shua came as the Son of Man. He is YHWH in the flesh. What does the vav teach us about Yahu’shua? Remember that Hebrew letters are pictures and symbols. The connection in these letters is apparent. Yahu’shua (the yod) came as the son of man (the vav) to offer His life as a sacrifice. His hands (yod) were pierced by a nail (vav) to bring salvation.
Yahu’shua was crucified through his hands and feet, as prophesied in Psalm 22:16 – “The assembly of the wicked have enclosed me. They have pierced my hands and my feet.” The letters in Yahu’shua’s name foretell His death.
There is no other name given unto man for salvation. But why did he have to die such a cruel death? This question is also answered in His name.
Yahu’shua came to offer His life as the remedy to sin and death.
Shin = the tooth
The Lion of the Tribe of Judah has teeth that will gnash upon the wicked at his return. He will rescue his sheep out of the mouth of the impostor (Satan who comes like a roaring Lion). Messiah’s teeth are likened unto a flock of his sheep because they feed upon the nourishment of his word and chew upon the spiritual food that brings nourishment to the soul.
Song of Solomon 4:2 Thy teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even shorn, which came up from the washing; whereof every one bear twins, and none is barren among them.
Song of Solomon 6:6 Thy teeth are as a flock of sheep which go up from the washing, whereof every one beareth twins, and there is not one barren among them.
Isaiah 41:
14Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith YHWH, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
15Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.
Here is a prophesy about the House of Jacob (the elect of YHWH) and the men of Israel and though they may feel helpless like a “worm” against their enemies, YHWH will come and redeem them through his son YaHuWShuA and he will make them as an instrument that has teeth that they may thresh the mountains (the impossible situations).
Ayin = the eye
Messiah teaches us with his Torah (instructions) and he guides his sheep with his watchful eye:
Psalm 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Psalm 33:18 Behold, the eye of YHWH is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
What is the “eye of YaHuWaH”? It is the Messiah’s eye! Remember that YaHuWaH has no image of his own for he is invisible. He can only be seen in the image of the son YaHuWShuA. Yahushua’s body contains the “fullness” of the divinity of Yahuwah (Colossians 2:9)
Revelation 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
Revelation 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
When Messiah returns he will take vengeance on the enemies of his elect:
Job 16:9 He teareth me in his wrath, who hateth me: he gnasheth upon me with his teeth; mine enemy sharpeneth his eyes upon me.
As it was done to his beloved bride, so shall it be done to those who persecuted her. Our Messiah is coming with teeth like a Lion and eyes like a flame of fire to execute justices and avenge the blood of his saints.
Whenever you read the term “salvation” in an English Bible, it is almost certainly the name of the Messiah translated from the Hebrew. His name is actually found all throughout the Older Testament.
#3444 yshuw`ah yesh-oo’-aw feminine passive participle of 3467; something saved, i.e. (abstractly) deliverance; hence, aid, victory, prosperity:–deliverance, health, help(-ing), salvation, save, saving (health), welfare.
You will notice that the Masorites added the vowel points to this word “salvation” with the letter “e” but the original Paleo letters were: YSHWA the same letters found in YaHuWShuA only the extra letter “h” or the “hey” is not in the word. Hence the word “salvation” is a shortened way to say the Saviour’s name as “YaSHuWA” but if it is rendered “YaHuWShuA” then it means “the Father has saved.”
Exodus 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the (YaSHuWA) salvation 3444 of the YHWH, which he will shew to you to day, for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
Exodus 15:2 YHWH is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation 3444: (YaSHuWA) he is my Elohim (God), and I will prepare him an habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
When the Patriarch Jacob (Ya’acov in Hebrew) prayed in Genesis 49:18, he actually used the name of the coming Savior. He said, “I have waited for thy salvation / Yah’shua.”
In Paleo below, we see the name as # 3068 (YHWH) and the name #3444 (YSHWA). To read it literally, it says “O YaHuWaH, I have waited for your YaSHuWA.”
Jacob is crying out to the Father for the salvation that will come through the Messiah!
#3068 Yhovah yeh-ho-vaw’ from 1961; (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God:–Jehovah, the Lord. Compare 3050, 3069.
#3444 yshuw`ah yesh-oo’-aw feminine passive participle of 3467; something saved, i.e. (abstractly) deliverance; hence, aid, victory, prosperity:–deliverance, health, help(-ing), salvation, save, saving (health), welfare.
Jacob trusted in Yahu’shua even before Yahu’shua was born into this world! In Psalm 62:6, David too proclaims his faith in Yahu’shua, “He alone is my rock and my Y’shua / salvation, I will not be moved.” People living during Older Testament times were redeemed by putting their faith in Yahu’shua. The sacrificial system did not save anyone. In Hebrews 10:4 we read, “for it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.”
Salvation has always been by grace through faith in the salvation of the Almighty. His very name doesn’t just mean salvation, it is salvation!
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation /Yahu’shua in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Genesis 4:26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of YHWH.
Genesis 12:8 And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto YHWH, and called upon the name of YHWH.
Genesis 26:25 And he builded an altar there, and called upon the name of YHWH, and pitched his tent there: and there Isaac’s servants digged a well.
1st Chronicles 16:8 Give thanks unto YHWH, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
Psalm 79:6 Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that have NOT called upon thy name.
Psalm 80:18 So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.
Psalm 105:1 O give thanks unto YHWH; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
Psalm 116:4 Then called I upon the name of YHWH; O YHWH, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
Psalm 116:13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of YHWH.
Psalm 116:17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of YHWH.
In all of the above words that I cited, the Hebrew word for “call” is as follows in the Strong’s Hebrew Concordance:
#7121 qara’ kaw-raw’ a primitive root (rather identical with 7122 through the idea of accosting a person met); to call out to (i.e. properly, address by name, but used in a wide variety of applications):–bewray (self), that are bidden, call (for, forth, self, upon), cry (unto), (be) famous, guest, invite, mention, (give) name, preach, (make) proclaim(- ation), pronounce, publish, read, renowned, say.
Notice, that to “call” upon his name means to preach, pronounce, and publish his name!
