A Rebuttal of the Six Points and More

Greetings in the Lord Jesus Christ, George,

You are welcome to my participation in this matter. I am glad to be involved, and am thankful for the opportunity to reply to your letter. For ease of conversation, and to ensure all your questions and points are answered, I will reply within the text of your letter.

“Dear Brother Paul,

Thank you for writing and for making me aware of a letter written to me by some fellow by the name of Victor Hafichuk, which you say was sent to me this past February 13, 2005. If it was sent to me, I never received it!”

I am sorry that you did not get to see the letter from Victor that was originally sent to you in February. It was never our intention that you would not have a chance to reply to it. Here is the header from my sending of the document to you:

Hi George,

We will unsubscribe both addresses from The Issues of Life, as requested. I wanted to check with you to see if you had received a letter specifically written for you and sent to this address on the 13th of February of this year. If not, you can read it here: The Hallelujah Diet.

If you did receive it, but it got lost in the shuffle or you did not read it, perhaps you can take the time to read it now. We would welcome a reply from you if you could.

Paul:

Appreciate you honoring our request. I have forwarded your email along to George for his response if he chooses to do so. I don’t recall receipt of a letter in February but unfortunately we receive hundreds of junk mail daily and if the subject is not pertinent, I just delete them without opening them.

In His Grace,

Olin

Back to Paul:

As seen in the initiative I had taken here, it was clearly not our intention that you would not see this letter and have a chance to respond. Perhaps you need to review your methods of filtering mail to ensure that important documents are not discarded with the junk mail.

In further correspondence we discussed posting your response to our web site:

Greetings Olin,

Yes, by all means, encourage George to reply. We would be glad to post his response. The correspondence you unsubscribed from, “The Issues of Life,” allows other voices to be heard so that the truth can be spoken, not in a vacuum, but in real life, dealing with real people and circumstances. That is what we are here for.

We will get a response to you in a few days.

Back to Paul:

Let me add here, George, that we wish to make an offer to you regarding your response to this letter that I now answer. Perhaps you did not carefully read and consider the letter Victor wrote you, and have inadvertently overlooked the many points and questions that you have not answered in this reply. It certainly appears that way. We truly wish to give you every opportunity to answer all the things you have not thus far. So:

OUR OFFER TO YOU

If you will carefully read the letter from Victor, and answer the specific points made to you (some of which will be quoted in this letter as we continue) with specific Scriptures given in context that prove otherwise than what we say, then we will gladly, publicly recant what we have written and acknowledge your teachings as of God, promoting them on our web page as such. In return, we ask that you do the same with us. If you cannot answer satisfactorily, as described above, the many things Victor has brought up, then you will acknowledge what we have spoken, which you are not able to counter, as the truth of God on your web page, provided, of course, you believe it to be valid. Do we have a deal?

Your paragraph continues: “But it would have been nice if Victor had made sure I had seen it and had opportunity to respond to it, BEFORE it was published, and made available to the Christian community.”

Now here, George, are you not straining out a gnat while swallowing a cow? You find fault with us for publishing the truth founded on the Word of God, replying to that which you, as a professing minister of God, falsely claim God has said and done. All the while you have been trumpeting your admittedly speculative and ungodly interpretations far and wide without permission from, or agreement with, the Author of Life. Not only that, you have made a business out of what you call the truth. God says, “Buy the truth, and sell it not” (Proverbs 23:23). George Malkmus says, “Buy the truth FROM ME, and sell it not [don’t compete with me, send me referrals instead].” You are not selling truth, George, but lies that kill. Here is the truth:

“Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man” (Matthew 15:11).

You are saving bodies (although not in all cases, but many) in exchange for their souls. Your followers are saving their bodies by believing some good health principles (and in today’s American diet, it does not take much to improve it significantly), but believing spiritual lies, which snare their souls. Not all may care about your spiritual message but I gather that many are following you in a spiritual context, or, if they are searching, may follow you and your teachings, given the good results you truly get with your diet advice. We are addressing the error in your spiritual teachings, on which you have based your authority.

I would also like to add that we are not the first to confront you on these things, but you have already repeatedly ignored and cast aside all attempts to reason with you and to answer these things in the sight of God and man. The Lord has been faithful to amply warn you before we came on the scene. Who are you to be indignant now that these things are published without your knowledge, whereas you have never answered them before when given the opportunity? We are the last straw, not the first.

“I haven’t the time to respond to all of his criticisms and charges, sarcasms and ridicule, but let me say that it is very interesting that Victor chooses to totally ignore the first 1700 years of recorded Biblical history, in his attempt to belittle this preacher and the teachings of Hallelujah Acres. In fact, regarding my teaching, Victor states: ‘I will also reveal to you the UNGODLY, even BLASPHEMOUS, implications of your doctrine.'”

The words you quote from Victor are entirely true, and you have done nothing to refute them. Therefore your objections are moot until you do. In fact, your reply in this letter only further demonstrates the validity of his conclusions. I do not believe it is a matter of a lack of time for you to answer these things, but a matter that you simply have no answers to the many things Victor has brought up that prove your reasoning is unScriptural, and has been confounded by holy reason and experience of the truth.

You say that Victor ignores the “first 1,700 years of recorded Biblical history,” but that, whether intentional or not, is a lie. What Victor did was refute your interpretation of that history, which apparently to you is the same as ignoring what is written in Scripture. YOU are the one ignoring the record, as it has been brought to your attention and you have no reply. Here is one section from his letter that delves rather thoroughly into matters of record that you say Victor ignored:

“You are ‘still puzzled’ as to why the Bible sanctioned meat in so many ways, because you refuse to believe the whole counsel of God and His will as expressed in all of His actions and relationships with man, as testified by the Word of God. Examples:

ONE – God spoke to Noah after the flood (Gen 9:3), informing him that they could eat the flesh of clean animals. I say, ‘clean’ because those were already categorized when they came aboard the ark. The categorization certainly had the diet aspect in mind as we find later with Moses.

TWO – Abraham offered meat to the Lord and His angels when they appeared to him. He would not offer something he did not eat himself, and furthermore, he would have offered nothing but the best possible. They did not correct him for what he did. If vegetarian diet was so important, why would Abraham and the other patriarchs not have said something?

THREE – Why would God not have given any kind of instruction toward vegetarian diet, anywhere, at any time, to anyone? George? Yes, Daniel and his companions ate ‘pulse,’ and fared well for it. However, the Babylonians were eating unclean animal flesh, who knows what else, and that was what Daniel and his companions chose to refuse. They purposed not to ‘defile themselves,’ according to the Mosaic Law of clean and unclean foods. There is no evidence that they were strictly vegetarian by the Law of Moses; quite the contrary.

FOUR – The Law of Moses covered many aspects of life. Some of these were sterilization, quarantine, disease diagnosis and control, appropriate clothing, military affairs, authority, religious and secular responsibility, waste disposal, hygiene, and laws pertaining to all conduct. And what did God say to them? Consider, George:

‘And he said, If you will carefully listen to the voice of Jehovah your God, and will do that which is right in His sight, and will give ear to His commandments, and keep all His Laws, I will put none of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians; for I am Jehovah Who heals you’ (Exodus 15:26 MKJV).

NONE of these diseases! He said nothing about abstaining from clean animal flesh to avoid disease. You, George, are going against the Word of God. You are calling God a liar in that He said, in effect, ‘Meat or no meat, if you keep My laws and commandments, there will be no disease.’ Not only was there not one commandment to abstain from clean animal flesh, but the whole sacrificial system, for fifteen hundred years, pointing to no less than God Himself, the Lamb of God, the Savior of all men, Whose flesh was to be ‘eaten,’ clearly and unequivocally required that these sacrifices of clean animals be made and eaten, not only by common people, but by the Levitical priesthood, including the high priest himself.

Your argument that God allowed eating meat to curb human population is utterly ridiculous, an expression of man’s reasoning and unbelief that flies in His face. If you refuse to believe the truth, you, of necessity, must come up with a lie. Is that not so? You are calling God a liar and a schemer, George. You preach a false gospel. You can save your body and those of your adherents, even gain the whole world, and still lose your soul.

FIVE – If God thought that eating meat was so wrong or inappropriate, why would He have not said at least something, though much is spoken of food in Scripture? But He said nothing, George, nothing at all. Even when persons took a solemn Nazarite vow (Numbers 6), while they were commanded not to cut their hair or to partake of any of the fruits of the vine, or to defile themselves with the dead, they were not instructed to abstain from animal flesh.”

In saying these things Victor was not attempting to belittle you. He has not made up the things you say and teach, which is what the issue is here. And when confronted with the blatant contradictions against the Word of God that these teachings propose, and which you sell to the public, you protest with mock indignation that you are being personally attacked and besmirched. We say that God is indignant with what you do, George. However, you once again have opportunity to prove us wrong and show us by His words where we specifically err in those things enumerated as in the above quote, and the many other such things brought up in these letters wherein we specifically show how you contradict God’s Word and Nature.

"Then Victor devotes almost half of his letter to me, trying to justify the consuming of animal products, while telling me that my teachings are, ‘UNGODLY’ and even ‘BLASPHEMOUS.’"

These are more of your accusations that are gross distortions of reality coming from your undue focus on, and confidence in, yourself as the fount of all truth and wisdom. Of course the letter is about you, inasmuch as it is answering YOUR teachings. As for justifying consuming of animal products, Victor was not doing that in his letter, nor did he have to try to do that. The reason he did not need to justify the eating of meat is that God never said that it was sin to eat meat. What is the need to justify what is freely given? God has clearly given us the meat of clean animals to eat, which you cannot dispute, though you do not necessarily sin if you do not eat meat. Whatsoever is not of faith, is sin, whether it is eating or refraining from eating what God has declared clean.

“And receive him who is weak in the faith, but not to judgments of your thoughts. For indeed one believes to eat all things; but being weak, another eats vegetables” (Romans 14:1-2).

Victor, in his letter, merely stated what God has said and done, beginning with the declaration He made of which animals are clean, and good to eat, and which are unclean, and not good to eat. According to God there are animals that are not “kosher” for eating. He did not say all were unfit, only some. Only George Malkmus has said that ALL are not kosher. Who are we to believe? Why do you force people to choose between you and God?

“But I would like to share some CLEAR Biblical teachings to refute what Victor is saying:

1.God is the Creator of the human physical body! (Genesis 2: 7)”

There is no disagreement here, or in the letter.

“2.Prior to the creation of the human physical body, God prepared for the nourishment of that physical body by creating plant life! (Genesis 1:11)”

There is more to plants than being nourishment for the human body. Besides other functions, plant life was also the exclusive food of animals, the same as for humans. At that time NO CREATURE was eating meat. Yet we have animals made that clearly are suited to do so, such as a lion.

“And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the heavens, and to every creeper on the earth which has in it a living soul every green plant is for food; and it was so” (Genesis 1:30).

This carried on to when Noah prepared the ark for the survival of all living things:

“And take for yourself all food that is eaten, and you shall gather for yourself. And it shall be for food, for you and for them” (Genesis 6:21).

To say that plants are all that were ever meant to be eaten is making an unsupportable statement, contradicted by the physiology of God’s creatures and His pronouncement after the flood. At that time he gave man to eat meat, and while it is not clearly stated, it may be presumed that the animals too began to eat meat, those designed to do so. There will come, as the Scriptures declare, a future day when carnivores will again not eat other animals:

“And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox” (Isaiah 11:7).

It is obviously the work of God, and not man, to determine the times and the course of His creation as He chooses.

“3.Immediately at creation, God placed His human creation in a GARDEN, and in Genesis 1:29, God the Creator, gave His human creation the diet, He, God, had designed this human creation to be nourished with. This diet was to be 100% raw plant life, obtained from the plants in the garden God had prepared for His human creation before He created man.”

As we have shown, God designed man and animals for versatility, with more than one thing in mind. He also gave us (human beings) in our present circumstances choice in the matter of food. It is not forced on a person to eat meat, or to be vegetarian. Furthermore, you conjecture when you presume that God gave man a 100% raw diet. There is nothing said about eating only raw food. Who is to say they did not make baked bread from grains, for example? We are simply to take your word for it that they did not? Is cooking always harmful? The Lord ate bread. Why did He set such a poor example, and not warn His disciples of the danger of cooked food, seeing He was God in the flesh come to give us life and life abundant? Are not our questions deserving of legitimate answers, instead of complaints of personal attack, by which you avoid confronting these intractable problems with your theories and teachings?

“4.On this plant based, Genesis 1:29 diet, man lived without a single recorded instance of sickness, for the next 1700 years, to an average age of 912 (age of patriarchs at death), without a single recorded instance of sickness.”

Victor rightly said, to which you have not replied: “What gives you the right to conclude that eating meat was the sole or primary, or even a small part of the cause of God’s will in the shortening of man’s life span? If God decrees something, does He need an ‘age-cutting, meat-eating program’ to accomplish His will?” I also add that because the Scriptures say nothing about anyone getting sick is a far cry from saying there never was any illness. The Scriptures speak of only a very small segment of people, and it is not a health history. Who is to say no person ever got sick? When sin entered, death came. How much more sickness and disease? You said at the beginning of these points that you will give us clear Biblical teaching, but instead you give us more speculations without foundation. Whether or not anyone got sick is not the issue. That you use uncorroborated “facts” upon which to base your theories shows those theories to be unproven and untenable.

“5.Then in Genesis 9:3, approximately 1700 years AFTER THE FALL, God permits man to consume animal flesh for the very first time. Because I offer several possible reasons as to WHY God allowed man to consume animal flesh, including the reason possibly being that all vegetation had been destroyed by the flood, Victor ridicules my attempts to offer possible reasons to answer the WHY question.”

Is it because you offer reasons why God allowed man to consume animal flesh that Victor ridicules them? Or is it because your reasons are blasphemous? He has certainly pointed out the latter, and you have not answered any of the pointed arguments he presents against your speculations that make God out to be a fool and a malicious one at that. Have you truly red his letter?

For example, you gave this reason why God “allowed” (a phrase that is never used in the Bible regarding the change in diet) man to eat meat:

“My personal belief is that man was living too long, getting into too much trouble, and thus God used the consuming of flesh to shorten man’s lifespan.”

To which Victor said:

“Why would God promise long life and health to those who obeyed Him and then instruct them, yes, instruct (we have covered that in discussing the sacrificial system representing Jesus Christ and His will) them to eat meat, if, as you say, man ‘was getting into too much trouble’? Were Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Deborah, Jeremiah, and other righteous persons ‘getting into too much trouble’?”

And:

“You say God thought men were living too long, but you obviously think and judge differently [by trying to extend life spans by abstention from meat], so now we have a battle in the heavens for men’s bodies and age durations, between the two big ‘G’s’? George, are you presuming to change God’s thinking and plan, and save everybody, as you propose in your manifesto, so that they will have more time ‘to get into trouble’? Just stop and think of your insane and, yes diabolical, reasonings, George!“

Why no answers to these questions which show that you blacken the Name of God with your speculation? Do you not care that you are contradicting the explicit promises of God to keep us in good stead if we keep His commandments, and thereby you bring into question His standing as our Savior (Who delivers on all His promises)? Apparently this means nothing to you.

As for the new idea you are introducing here (it was not in the writing Victor replied to in his letter), stating there was no vegetation to supply the flood survivors with food, that is simply more unfounded speculation. Firstly, the bird that Noah sent out returned with a leaf (Genesis 8:11). Plants were well established and growing by the time they got off the ark. They would need to be available after all, to feed all the herbivores on the ark. The idea that meat was given for humans to eat because there was no vegetation, when clearly there were animals that could not eat meat, is unsound. Secondly, there may have also been food that Noah had stored that was still available. Whatever the case, your reason is not supported by any facts or reason whatsoever.

Furthermore, it is evident in this discussion that you reason backwards. You have already established your premise that the only true and health-giving diet is a raw vegan one, so everything you conclude from Scriptures supports that notion, leading to the kinds of ridiculous guesses that you make, with no respect for truth and reason. You end up, as Victor has pointed out (to which points you have not responded), denying the promise of God to prosper us in body and soul if we obey Him. You show no respect for God while you use Him for what you can get, selling your ideas as based on His wisdom. We greatly disrespect your ways, “Reverend Doctor” as we rightfully should. Don’t you agree? If not show us how, by Scripture and godly reason, we err in these conclusions, taking each already discussed step that has lead to our conclusions into consideration.

“6.When we look at the anatomy of man, we find that God gave man a digestive tract designed by God to move food through a very lengthy digestive tract, with many pockets, loops and bends, through means of FIBER. Animal products contain absolutely NO FIBER! Thus, animal flesh moves through this lengthy digestive tract very slowly, in a very moist atmosphere of almost 100 degrees. In that atmosphere, animal flesh putrefies, the cause of body odor, while this putrefied animal flesh becomes the cause of almost all colon problems. Also, animal products are extremely acidic, and the cause of acid stomach problems, for which multitudes take Tums or a similar product to neutralize the acidity. On the vegan, Hallelujah Diet, we have thousands of testimonies from people who had colon problems that ranged from colitis to colon cancer, along with acid stomach problems, that simply went away after eliminating animal products from their diets and adopting our 100% plant-based, Genesis 1:29 diet, which includes lots of vegetable juices.”

It is not our purpose here to debate the physiology of man, and the perfect diet. There has been a great variety of diets around the world, and many peoples have done very well on diets which, according to you, should have killed them. Perhaps you are familiar with the work of Weston Price. If not, you should be. The conclusions you draw from the anatomy of man are not correct, are not supported by the facts, and are even disputed by knowledgeable and committed vegetarians such as Dr. McArdle, a vegetarian, anatomist and a primatologist, who was, or still is, the Scientific Advisor to The American Anti-Vivisection Society. McArdle states that “Humans are classic examples of omnivores in all relevant anatomical traits. There is no basis in anatomy or physiology for the assumption that humans are pre-adapted to the vegetarian diet. For that reason, the best arguments in support of a meat-free diet remain ecological, ethical, and health concerns.”

George, you said you would be making points here that refute, according to Biblical teaching, what Victor has written to you about God giving men meat to eat for health, and not to kill them off early to keep them from getting into trouble, as you suggest. So where is your Biblical evidence? As for your health results, Victor did not argue against the plausibility of better results from some of the diet changes you propose. Did you not read his letter? He wrote:

“There is no question whatsoever that you are helping many people with their health problems by changing their diets. Sadly, as you well know, it often does not take much to make an improvement. The world, particularly “the West,” has gone mad with its self-destructive eating habits. I would not wish to interfere in any way with the positive impact you are having on the physical, mental and emotional health of many by your dietary teachings. However, I do find fault with your claim that we are not meant or intended by God to eat meat. I find fault with your ungodly rationalizations to support the theories and speculations you teach as gospel truth….”

And:

“Yes, you are countering disease. Wonderful! Yes, professing believers have presumed they can eat anything they wish, deceived by the world and its merchandisers, and are destroying themselves. Awful! Satan comes at the body too, and not only at the soul. Yes, you are making people healthy in many cases. That is quite understandable, given the hideous ways people eat. A raw vegetarian diet certainly has advantages over poisoned, ill-prepared, and denatured foods, not to mention those classified as unclean by God. I don’t have a problem with you promoting physical health, or improving people’s diets, or even with a choice to be vegetarian, but don’t go telling people that God does not mean for us to eat meat, or that meat-eating is the prime cause of death. You call God a liar and murderer in doing so, as I have shown. You say He doesn’t intend for us to eat meat, yet you say He does, so that people will kill themselves and not get into trouble, as if shortening life span is the answer.”

“I haven’t the time to go much further with this, but let me ask this question. Was DIVORCE ever God’s will? But did God later allow divorce? Would you not consider God’s ORIGINAL teaching on divorce his perfect will! What was God’s original teaching as to the proper nourishment of man? Yes, it was 100% pure vegan, as clearly given us by God in Genesis 1:29! Did God later allow the consumption of animal flesh? YES! But what was God’s ORIGINAL teaching and perfect plan?”

Comparing divorce with eating meat does not hold water under scrutiny. Jesus said that divorcing a lawful wedded spouse and taking another is adultery (Matt. 5:32). He said nothing about eating meat being a sin, and as Victor pointed out (another point you have not answered), He even fed the multitudes fish, and after His resurrection, ate fish with His disciples. Do you think He also was telling them it was ok to commit fornication or adultery, or that He would have done that Himself, too? You reasonings are truly wicked, because they lead to these types of perverse conclusions that paint God as a petulant fool, when He is nothing of the sort. What your reasonings reflect is not what God is like, but what you are like. Repent, George. We write these things so that you would turn from serving yourself as God, and serve Him in truth instead. It does not matter if you gain the whole world with your diet; you still are denying Him and losing your soul.

“Victor’s letter to me is full of ridicule and sarcasm directed toward this preacher, while lifting himself up as the only person capable of rightly dividing the Word of Truth! At the end of his letter to me, Victor even ridicules my efforts to bring possibly lost readers of my writings to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. I find this amazing!”

Again, Victor did not ridicule your efforts, but described the false gospel you preach as it is, impotent and devoid of the faith that leads to obedience and salvation. Here is what he did write:

“Those “who receive Jesus into their hearts” and think that is all there is to it, fall prey to “another gospel,” a gospel without the cross and obedience. No wonder they perish. They fail not only in physical diet, but in all things of faith. Those who believe the true gospel, and obey, will be profited in all ways, because they are faithful and obedient to God. They will seek to receive instruction from God and not from men.”

“Hallelujah Acres is a ministry that teaches health from a Biblical perspective.”

I think we have amply shown otherwise, for anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear. This is the point of our contention because you falsely represent God and His Word, which you do for profit. If you just taught diet that would be one thing, but because you do so falsely in the Name of the Lord, substituting the earthly for the heavenly, we speak. You are, as Victor wrote in his letter, “salving evil consciences with your gospel by teaching that the root cause of sickness and disease is meat eating.” We are reclaiming, in the Name of God, and by His will and power, the land that has been stolen in His Name.

“The ministry has grown from a mom and pop operation of just 2 people, to over 2-million followers today. WHY? BECAUSE IT WORKS! Tens of thousands of Christians have been restored to health by following our teachings, as their testimonies attest. In fact, we have received testimony of over 170 different physical problems disappearing as a result of following our teachings. Dozens of preachers, who had been forced to leave the ministry because of sickness, are back preaching the Gospel because of The Hallelujah Acres Diet and Ministry.”

We are all for people following good health principles and prospering in health. That is not our contention here, as we have now said several times. The subject and issue is your misuse and abuse of the Name of God, which you have no right to use when you contradict His words, works, and ways.

“For Victor to take all that time to write 15 pages of attacks on the Hallelujah Diet must make Victor feel quite proud of himself! I am sure the Lord is pleased? But just think about what Victor’s letter criticizing The Hallelujah Diet might accomplish in the Christian community. Why, Victor might be responsible for the needless suffering and early demise of a fellow believer, because Victor’s writings caused that fellow believer to not consider The Hallelujah Diet as a possible solution to their physical problems. Or, Victor may have kept a fellow Christian from adopting The Hallelujah Diet so that they could restore health to their physical body temple, so that they could better serve the Lord.”

I assure you that the Lord is pleased whenever the truth is spoken in the face of lies, and especially lies told in His Name. Consider: we have not cast your name out as evil; we have very specifically confronted YOU on YOUR evils. But you cast out our name as evil because we do this, and for no other reason. The Lord has told us to rejoice when this happens:

“Blessed are you when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of Man’s sake. Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets” (Luke 6:22-23).

I also assure you that for those who are believers, the Lord, Who is their Shepherd, will not allow them to perish because one has been exposed as a mammon lover who poses as a Christian with special knowledge to save the body. Instead, their souls will be safe as they stay their distance from the taint of his spiritual error, and the Lord, their Shepherd, will guide them into all wisdom for their bodies as He does for their souls. But you do not believe that He exists, or that He is the Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. You will find out that He is also the Rewarder of those who diligently deny Him.

Furthermore, George, the saints are able to receive truth from anyone and anything, even self-serving users of God. It is not truth that is thrown out by those who love and follow the Lord Jesus Christ, but the lies.

“Victor concludes his letter to me by writing: ‘May God open your eyes and heart to the error and implications of your teachings. Contending for the faith once delivered to the saints, for His sake, Victor Hafichuk.’

Paul, Victor isn’t contending for the faith! Victor is attempting to tear down a ministry raised up by God to restore health to fellow believers. God originally gave this Health Message to Evangelist Lestor Roloff many, many years ago. God used brother Roloff to offer me an alternative to the deadly medical modalities when I had cancer in 1976. Because of Brother Roloff, and the Genesis 1:29 diet Brother Roloff pointed me to, I am still alive and well as I approach my 72nd birthday, after almost 30 years on a modified Genesis 1:29 diet, a pure plant-based diet.”

We are glad you recovered from the cancer. Getting away from the terrible typical American diet would certainly have been a factor on the physical level. However, it is not the “Genesis diet” but God Who gave you to change and Who healed you, Who should be credited.

Victor pointed out that longevity is no assurance of godliness. To you it may be, but it is not so in the sight of God. The Scriptures so testify. A person can live a long healthy life and never be alive to God. “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). You are, above all, bringing death to others by teaching disrespect for His words, as you twist and add to what He has said, as we have shown and you have failed to answer. Your followers may prosper in health, but they are still dead in their sins, and you keep them there with the false diet god you preach to them.

“The Bible warns us of the enemies within our own household in Matthew 10:36! Victor should be rejoicing over the multitudes of Christians who have experienced the restoration of their physical health through The Hallelujah Diet so that they can better serve the Saviour. Yet, rather than rejoicing, Victor sends a letter he claims to have been written to me (which obviously was not his intent), to the Christian community, in an obvious attempt to discredit this ministry. I would not want to be in Victor’s shoes at the judgment, or in anyone else’s shoes that promotes this writing by Victor.”

George, will you now seriously read, consider, and answer the many points wherein you deviate from Scripture and sound reason? While I would hope so, I do not see that as probable, coming from one who apparently has sold his soul for mammon. Prove me wrong. Otherwise, you will need to continue your course and find out the truth when all your works have failed and are burned in the fires.

“If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss. But he himself shall be saved, yet so as by fire” (1 Corinthians 3:15).

“Sincerely for a Healthy Christian Community
Dr. George H. Malkmus (Just a sinner saved by God’s grace)”

Your words are deceitful, because you have deceived yourself, George. You are not for Christ, you are not for His people, you do not confess your sin, and you do not appreciate His grace. The proof is in what you say and do.

The Word of God, speaking the truth to your error:

“A voice spoke from heaven a second time, ‘Don’t say that the things which God has made clean are impure'” (Acts 11:9 God’s Word).

Contending for the faith once delivered to the saints, that all might know the true Lord God, Who is the Bread from Heaven that brings life to the world,
