False Teacher – Kris Vallotton

Mocking the Word of God

Those who deny the Sword of the Lord deny the Lord and have nothing. Those who receive the Sword of the Lord have Him and everlasting life.

A brother in the Lord, Ronnie Tanner, recently had the following conversation with Kris Vallotton via Facebook Messenger. Kris is co-founder of Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry with Bill Johnson. As you will see, anything supernatural about their work comes from the rulers of darkness, whose day of exposure has arrived.

Ronnie says:

Hi Kris, I was forwarded a podcast by my ex-wife where you spoke about the sword only being applicable to a certain people group. It’s at the 36:15 mark of this podcast: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/kris-vallottons-podcast/id158029989?mt=2&i=357407001

You said: “Jesus said, ‘I didn’t come to bring peace, but I came to bring a sword.’ And, ‘I’m going to tell you Jesus said a lot of things that were relevant to a certain people group’

Where do you get that the sword is only relevant to “a certain people group”? What people group?

Kris says:

To a people group?

Ronnie says:

Yes, which group?

Kris says:

No sure, must of been a thought in the moment.

Ronnie says:

You aren’t “sure”? And you send over a wink with your tongue sticking out? Am I missing something here?

Kris, in October of 2013 the Lord revealed Himself to me and showed me that I had been contrary to His nature and ways although I had been a Christian since 1995. Immediately I knew there were various things in my life that were amiss such as thinking I had been born again when I had not been, the way I was eating, how I was foolishly wasting the money I had been given, participating in worldly holidays instead of coming away unto the Lord and being separate, and particularly for capitulating to my wife and children in these things to keep the peace. I was delivered from depression and the internal hell that came with sin. It was a fearful, yet wonderful thing the Lord did!

However, within a few months my wife began to threaten me with divorce and eventually filed in December, 2014. She had nothing to fault me with so she began to accuse me of being in a “cult.” She spoke evil of me throughout our community and turned our children against me without a shred of evidence that what I was doing was wrong before God. She sent me this podcast as support for her accusation that I “hated” her. I was simply given grace to not capitulate to her although I was still committed to her and my children – nothing had changed there except I was being given good things from God to correct the destructive trajectory we were on. She followed through with the divorce and it was finalized in Oct 2015.

These aren’t trivial matters, Kris. You need to sober up and repent, big time. Soliciting laughter with straw man arguments that have nothing to do with the substance of what the Lord was talking about isn’t good.

Kris says:

Ronnie Is the Lord bringing a sword between you and your wife? Is the Lord bringing a sword between you and your children? Is it OK for a man to believe that the Lord is bringing the sword between him and his marriage? When you’re counseling someone who has a bad marriage, is it OK for him to use that verse instead of working on restoring his marriage? When a father is not being a great father with his children is it OK for him to use that verse instead of becoming a great father?

Ronnie, how much counseling have you done? Do you understand how many people take things out of context to justify their dysfunction? I’ve done hundreds of hours of counseling with people. I’ve watched Christians use versus to justify all sort of things. Yes that verse fits in the context in which Jesus meant it. But is not OK to use to justify somebody’s dysfunction in a relationship. I get a 100 questions asked every day. I don’t have time to give this kind of explanation every time someone questions my integrity. God bless!

Ronnie says:

You aren’t hearing me, Kris. Your experience in counseling, though plenteous, has been with the false, not the true. Of course there are multitudes wresting the Scriptures to their own destruction, but are you any different?
For example, I listened more to your podcast. You said:

“Bring back the days of Ananias and Sapphira when only two people pay for their own sin and the rest God gives grace to even though He doesn’t like liars, or He doesn’t like lying.”

and

“If God took people home early right now for lying in this church, okay, how many of you would be left? Raise your hand. Yeah, and all three of you are lying.

Does God randomly judge liars while “giving grace” to others guilty of the same sins, as you put it? Do you suppose because no one dropped dead you won’t all perish and are perishing?

“I tell you, No. But unless you repent, you will all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3).

But the fearful, and the unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, will have their part in the Lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. (Revelation 21:8 MKJV)

You were mocking the Lord Jesus Christ, Kris, reveling in laughter from your audience, using the Scriptures to do so – very different than how the true church responded to the same news of the Lord’s judgments:

And great fear came on all the church and on as many as heard these things.
(Acts 5:11 MKJV)

You despise the fear of God and put a stumbling block in front of those that hear you, making sport of holy things. You simply vent your own frustrations and lack of understanding, all in the Name of the Lord.

“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven against men. For you neither go in, nor do you allow those entering to go in”
(Matthew 23:13 MKJV).

Kris didn’t reply.

Paul here now, writing to The Path of Truth readers and Kris Vallotton, if he’s still accepting Facebook messages:

Kris Vallotton is a perfect example of the man of sin presuming to be a man of God as he boldly and impudently speaks lies in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Kris asks incredulously, as if the following is impossible:

Ronnie Is the Lord bringing a sword between you and your wife? Is the Lord bringing a sword between you and your children?

Can the Lord not bring a sword to divide family members when He expressly tells us that He does this very thing? Kris is challenging the Lord, not Ronnie, yet tries to justify his scoffing by saying that Jesus was only talking about a “certain people group” when He said the following things:

Matthew 10:32-39 EMTV
(32)  Therefore whoever who will confess Me before men, I also will confess Him before My Father Who is in heaven.
(33)  But whoever denies Me before men, I also will deny him before My Father Who is in heaven.
(34)  Do not suppose that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
(35)  For I have come to turn a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
(36)  and ‘a man’s enemies will be his own household members.
(37)  He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.
(38)  And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
(39)  He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.

The “certain people group” is whoever confesses Jesus Christ before men, not with lips alone, but by believing on Him and taking up the cross, following Him in death and resurrection. Obviously, Kris is not among this blessed group that believes the Lord. Kris has never known the cross and experienced the everlasting life that follows or he wouldn’t be mocking and twisting the Word of God.

Kris Vallotton is a son of the usurper, Satan, coming as an angel of light by speaking in the Name of the Lord. The Lord has come suddenly to unveil and dethrone this imposter.

Kris continues with his impudent questions:

Is it OK for a man to believe that the Lord is bringing the sword between him and his marriage?

Of course it is, when it happens. And it does happen:

“But if the unbelieving spouse separates, let him or her separate; the brother or the sister has not been bound in such cases; but God has called us to peace” (1 Corinthians 7:15 EMTV).

When you’re counseling someone who has a bad marriage, is it OK for him to use that verse [Matthew 10] instead of working on restoring his marriage?

This is a baseless “are-you-still-beating-your-wife?” charge. Why does Kris assume this is the case for Ronnie, after the details set out showing otherwise? I, among others, witnessed what took place, corroborating Ronnie’s report. He wasn’t trying to get out of his marriage – his wife wasn’t pleased to dwell with him when he didn’t totally submit to her desires as described. She refused her head and demanded a divorce. So why does Kris take up her cause and deny the Lord’s? Because he serves the Prince of this World.

When a father is not being a great father with his children is it OK for him to use that verse instead of becoming a great father?

And I ask Kris: When children reject their father to be with the unbelieving mother, should the father become unbelieving and forsake God in order to join them?

One of Ronnie’s teenage daughters called him a “faggot” to his face. Are children never wrong or wicked, Kris?

“For everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death: he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him” (Leviticus 20:9 WEB).

The “Old Testament” is no good to you, Kris?

“For God commanded, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death'” (Matthew 15:4 WEB).

Ronnie, how much counseling have you done? Do you understand how many people take things out of context to justify their dysfunction? I’ve done hundreds of hours of counseling with people. I’ve watched Christians use versus to justify all sort of things.

And here you are, Kris, abusing the Bible to justify the most wicked of evils – pretending to be God’s friend while serving and counseling people to worship the Destroyer.

Yes that verse fits in the context in which Jesus meant it. But is not OK to use to justify somebody’s dysfunction in a relationship.

Who is justifying “dysfunction in a relationship,” Satan? “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (Amos 3:3 KJV) Those walking in the faith of Christ have a gloriously functional relationship with God, choosing Him above all else, even their loved ones.

“If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me, he cannot be My disciple” (Luke 14:26-27 MKJV).

But you, Kris, have never experienced the reality of Matthew 10:37-38 and now blaspheme against those who have, who are the Lord’s Body.

“I get a 100 questions asked every day. I don’t have time to give this kind of exclamation every time someone questions my integrity. God bless!

Ronnie didn’t question your integrity (moral soundness), Kris. He exposed the illusion of any integrity on your part as a man of God, because your responses prove that you have nothing to do with the Lord except to withstand Him at every turn.

The evidence of your confoundedness is there for anyone with eyes to see. Your answer to Matthew 10 was to say the Lord was speaking of a “certain people group” and then, when asked to identify the group, you couldn’t and therefore dismissed the whole matter with a silly face. You handle the things of God and His people with extreme contempt.

For the sake of the reader, I will answer what some have identified as the “certain people group” Kris Vallatton refers to but couldn’t remember. Some have conjectured that when the Lord spoke of bringing a sword and dividing families, He was only addressing His Jewish followers at the time of His appearing. These Jews came into conflict with their own people and families who rejected the Messiah.

By no means, however, has this kind of division between believer and unbeliever ceased. The whole world still lies in wickedness and opposes the Lord. Therefore, the one who believes in Him and walks in faith, regardless of time or place, automatically enters into spiritual conflict. Jesus said that those who followed Him would be hated by all men. He gave no qualifications.

“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you” (John 15:18-19 MKJV).

“You will be hated by all men for My Name’s sake, but he who endures to the end will be saved” (Matthew 10:22 WEB).

Are not unbelieving family members of the world? If an unbelieving spouse is pleased to dwell with the believing one, it’s solely the grace of God at work. There’s certainly no guarantee this will be the case and there isn’t anything the believer can do to make it happen. The Lord alone decides and only the Devil teaches otherwise: Family Unity – A Hallmark of True Christianity.

Here’s what the Word of God says about the scope of persecution for true believers:

“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12 KJV).

Children of faith, persecution will come from those closest to you no matter who you are or what age you live in, until the Lord has put all enemies under His feet (1 Corinthians 15:25). It happened not only to the Jews with their own people, but with the Gentiles who followed them:

“For you, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for you also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews” (1 Thessalonians 2:14 KJV).

Bless the Lord for His unspeakable gift of faith that enables all who believe to press forward to the prize of His high calling! All His children are one; they are true Jews, the Israel of God, and come by the same Way and Life, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:4-14 MKJV
(4)  But God, Who is rich in mercy, for His great love with which He loved us
(5)  (even when we were dead in sins) has made us alive together with Christ (by grace you are saved),
(6)  and has raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus,
(7)  so that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
(8)  For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God,
(9)  not of works, lest anyone should boast.
(10)  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.
(11)  Therefore remember that you, the nations, in time past were in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
(12)  and that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world.
(13)  But now in Christ Jesus you who were once afar off are made near by the blood of Christ.
(14)  For He is our peace, He making us both one….
