“Behold, I am against the prophets, says the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, ‘He says’” (Jeremiah 23:31 KJV). And those who follow the false prophets aren’t guiltless. “The prophets prophesy falsely… and My people love to have it so, and what will you do at the end of it?” (Jeremiah 5:31 MKJV)
I felt lead of the Lord to send this to ya.

Those that will hold to the rapture lie shall be beaten down by the truth.
by Kevin Barrett
Greetings dear Saints,
Today while doing a scripture study, the Lord was speaking to my heart about the many Christians that will fall away and die in the tribulation (without salvation) and many others will unnecessarily be martyred; all because of their belief in the “rapture” lie. This grieved my heart heavily and I cried out to God to please use me and any other willing mouth pieces to warn all that will have ears to hear to come out of the deception of the “rapture” lie.
The following prophetic word is what the Lord gave me for His people and following the word are the scriptures I studied with what’s in parentheses being my words. I used to think that those that believed in the rapture will just simply be sadly disappointed. But unfortunately, it will be much, much worse for them. I put this out there for all that will have ears to hear. I know that this will offend the many that still believe in the rapture and I do not wish to debate it. But if you are one of these; please don’t simply disregard this. Read it all the way through and take it to the Lord and test it with scripture to see if it is true. I pray that all will come to the truth and be spared the horrible things to come.
Word of the Lord:
Oh My people, why, why do you still believe the lies of the serpent? Many still believe in the lies of the devil that you will be raptured away and not face the persecution to come. Oh My people, how I weep for you all that have put your trust in lies. For the day approaches that the overwhelming scourge will cover the lands and peoples. And many of My people shall be overtaken and beaten down when it comes. Have I not said this in My word? (Isaiah 28:18) Then why do many of you still believe the false shepherds that tell you that you shall not see the tribulation to come? Prepare yourselves, My people.
Prepare your hearts before me and seek me for your repentance in believing such lies. It is not too late for you. If you would seek Me now in this, I will show you My truth and show you how you may escape the scourge to come. But it will not be by a rapture in the sky as you have been told. For have I not shown you in my word how I have protected My people in the midst of their tribulations? Was I not in the midst of the fire with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? Did I not shut the lions’ mouths when My servant Daniel was thrown in their den? Then why do you still think that I have somehow changed and will not cause you to go through the tribulation with My protection upon you?
Oh hear Me, My people. You have been made fools of by the false shepherds. They have sold you a lie and many of My people love it so. Why do you not seek Me in this? Is it because you are afraid of learning the truth? Why, My people do you choose to believe a lie over My word? How can you sit in contentment thinking that I will take you out of this world, when I prayed to the Father to NOT take you out of this world, but to protect you from the evil one? Oh why, My people, can you not discern the error of your ways? Do I not care for all those that are Mine? Then why do many of you still believe that I shall take you out of this world and leave Mine that are still lost for the wolves to devour? I tell you now, I shall have a people to walk in My authority in the earth realm during this tribulation to come, and they shall speak My truth to the masses. They shall be a judge to those that sit in judgment and a word of love and rebuke to those that will hear and turn to Me. But for those that have chosen to hold on to their lie of the rapture, woe unto you. For you shall be beaten down by the truth day and night and you shall not escape. Many of you shall even lose your lives because you chose not to have a love for My truth.
Oh, My little ones. I do not come to you to be harsh this day. But I come to you with a sincere and yet broken heart. Hear My heart crying over you all to come out from the lies you have believed and seek the true Shepherd that will protect you with truth. Do you not see that the false shepherds fatten themselves with your money and live lives of luxury as they fleece My sheep? Well I tell you now that their judgment shall be ten fold when the tribulation takes over the earth. And they shall suffer My wrath far more than those that they have deceived. Because they have taken My sheep captive with their lies; and caused my people to put their trust in lies and not My truth, so that they might escape the overwhelming scourge that shall try those on the earth.
My people, hear Me this day. I am about to do a wonder in the earth realm that will astound the masses. Have I not said in My word that I shall save the best wine for last; and the glory of the latter house shall be greater than the former? Therefore, those that have ears to hear, get ready. For I shall now begin to seek out those that are Mine and have a love for My truth. These ones have prepared their hearts to go through the great tribulation and I shall now begin to do a mighty work in these ones and they shall become My great army in the land. They shall do many mighty miracles in My name, sayeth the Lord.
But for those that have chosen to believe the lie instead, get ready for great destruction that you shall not escape from. Oh, My little ones, do not take this as too harsh. For I have warned you in My word of the last days. Did I not warn you that their would be many to come in My name and they shall deceive many? Then why have you not tested these ones against My word? And it is for your lack of knowledge of My truth that many of you shall now be destroyed, though it did not have to be this way.
[… Numerous Scripture quotes]
Kevin Barrett | November 25, 2012 at 7:23 pm
Hi Miles,
It is written: “Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others weigh what is said” (1 Corinthians 14:29 ESV). Victor and I have weighed Kevin’s words and found them wanting. The witness of the Lord isn’t there, although the words are presumed to be His.
Kevin does say some true things, such as pointing out the error of those who teach a physical rapture, whisking people away before the “great tribulation.” Even there, however, he misses the greater point of what God is doing through tribulation and is requiring of His people. Kevin speaks of and from “another Jesus.”
I’ll back up to give some background on the rapture and tribulation teachings of men, in order to show where the confusion begins about what the Scriptures actually say.
Here is the main Scripture people base their rapture theories on with regards to the “great tribulation” Jesus spoke of:
“For then shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world to this time; no, nor ever shall be” (Matthew 24:21 MKJV).
Using these words to indicate an historical event to come, however, is plainly wrong. Before He said these words, the Lord was telling His disciples the Temple would be utterly destroyed. They asked Him to say more about when this would happen and how they would know the time had come. It was in this context that the Lord spoke about the tribulation coming on Israel, which He concluded by saying:
“Assuredly I say to you, this generation shall by no means pass away till all these things are fulfilled” (Matthew 24:34 EMTV).
The Lord’s speech made clear that “this generation” referred to those to whom He was speaking:
“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled, for all these things must occur; but the end is not yet” (Matthew 24:6 MKJV).
“Then they will deliver you up to be afflicted and will kill you. And you will be hated of all nations for My Name’s sake” (Matthew 24:9 MKJV).
“Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand). Then let those in Judea flee into the mountains” (Matthew 24:15-16 MKJV).
“But pray that your flight is not in the winter, nor on the Sabbath day; for then shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world to this time; no, nor ever shall be” (Matthew 24:20-21 MKJV).
Didn’t the Lord’s words all come to pass, just as He warned His disciples? And wasn’t the fall of Israel in 70 A.D., the sacking of Jerusalem and slaughter of the Jews, a horrendous event like no other in the annals of the people of God? Hadn’t Jesus wept over Jerusalem, knowing what was to come? Didn’t Paul greatly sorrow over the losses sustained by the Jews, even before the fall of Jerusalem and their subsequent dispersion?
Romans 9:3-5 MKJV
(3) For I myself was wishing to be accursed from Christ for my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh,
(4) who are Israelites; to whom belong the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the Law, and the service of God, and the promises;
(5) whose are the fathers, and of whom is the Christ according to flesh, He being God over all, blessed forever. Amen.
People have a hard time comprehending how devastating these things were to the nation of Israel on a personal level. But it was truly the end of their world and of the far greater world of God’s covenant with them – the things Paul lists above.
You can see how foremost the matter of Israel’s status was on the apostle’s minds, who inquired of it with great hope when the Lord instructed them to wait in Jerusalem for the baptism of His Spirit:
“So when they had come together, they asked Him, ‘Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?’” (Acts 1:6 ESV)
The disciples had forgotten His words to them in Matthew 24 (Luke 21 and Mark 13), not being able to understand or assimilate what He was telling them. They would understand soon enough.
My point here is that we can readily see how the Lord was answering His disciples’ question, and the great tribulation He described did happen in their generation. Does this mean the Lord’s words have no application for us? Of course not; it’s the truth that applies to all believers ever since the words were spoken. Tribulation is something every believer comes through to enter the Kingdom of God:
“…strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations we must enter the Kingdom of God” (Acts 14:22 ESV).
But Kevin isn’t speaking of the “great tribulation” every believer faces within in their personal “end of the world” coming to faith, which they must endure to enter the Kingdom of God.
“And you will be hated by all for My Name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved” (Mark 13:13 ESV).
Kevin instead speaks of an epic external event of great distress coming on the world:
For the day approaches that the overwhelming scourge will cover the lands and peoples. And many of My people shall be overtaken and beaten down when it comes. Have I not said this in My word? (Isaiah 28:18) Then why do many of you still believe the false shepherds that tell you that you shall not see the tribulation to come? Prepare yourselves, My people.
Prepare your hearts before me and seek me for your repentance in believing such lies. It is not too late for you. If you would seek Me now in this, I will show you My truth and show you how you may escape the scourge to come.
The Lord wouldn’t say these things, because He knows that people believe and cling to lies when there’s sin in their lives. Telling them to change their minds about a doctrine isn’t dealing with the sin and therefore isn’t solving the real problem.
The Lord said through Isaiah (28:18) that the reason people believe false shepherds is because they’ve made agreements with death and hell. He said they needed to be “beaten down” by the “overflowing scourge” in order to disannul their agreements. He wasn’t pleading with them to believe the scourge was coming on them. Again, Kevin speaks as the mouthpiece of a false “Jesus.”
When God’s judgment came upon Israel in 70 A.D., which was the “great tribulation” the Lord told His disciples was coming, there was no “rapture” for them, though those who believed were kept:
“But not a hair of your head shall by any means perish. By your patient endurance you shall possess your souls” (Luke 21:18-19 EMTV).
As judgment continues to fall on the world, believers walking in faith are kept because they have been judged:
“For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who are disobedient to the Gospel of God?” (1 Peter 4:17 EMTV)
So what is Kevin doing, proposing to supposed believers that by ceasing to believe in the rapture they’ll be saved from the wrath to come? Believing a doctrine won’t solve their problem, but he makes it the issue because by believing doctrine he has been made righteous in his own sight. He is eating from the Tree of Knowledge and passing the fruit on to his hearers.
People need to repent from the sins that cause them to believe lies in the first place, being liars themselves, and to have their repentance proven by bringing forth worthy fruits.
Consider: Did John the Baptist speak to the people of God as Kevin has God speaking to them – “Oh My people, how I weep for you all that have put your trust in lies”?
Luke 3:7-9 MKJV
(7) Then he said to the crowd that came forth to be baptized by him, “O generation of vipers! Who has warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
(8) Therefore bring forth fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say within yourselves, ‘We have Abraham for our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.
(9) And now also the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bring forth good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.”
What did James say to believers who believed the lies of the prince of this world (like the “rapture”)?
“Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship of the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever desires to be a friend of the world is the enemy of God” (James 4:4 MKJV).
Who is this mushy, whiny god speaking through Kevin? It’s Kevin, speaking what he imagines and desires the Lord to say. He’s frustrated with those who don’t believe him and glories over them in judgment, though he speaks as with great concern for their welfare, thereby proclaiming his own righteousness while concealing his lust for vengeance. When he uses personal pronouns to indicate it’s God speaking, we’re actually hearing Kevin speak. For example:
“And it is for your lack of knowledge of My [Kevin’s] truth that many of you shall now be destroyed, though it did not have to be this way.”
When Kevin says, “the Lord was speaking to my heart…,” what he’s really saying is “my heart is speaking as the Lord.”
Kevin betrays his ignorance of God’s judgment and ways in everything he says. For example, speaking of the scourge to come: “many Christians… will unnecessarily be martyred….”
God’s martyrs don’t die in rebellion and sin, and their deaths aren’t ever unnecessary. Does God spill the blood of His saints for nothing? Did Jesus Christ, Head of the Body, die in vain?
“Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints” (Psalms 116:15 KJV).
One who dies on account of unbelief, because he chooses lies and the liar over the Truth, is no martyr; he is a witness to Satan, not to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Kevin speaks of unbelieving so-called Christians experiencing persecution and martyrdom on account of the lies they choose to believe:
“Many still believe in the lies of the devil that you will be raptured away and not face the persecution to come.”
The Word of God, however, says only those who live godly in Christ Jesus suffer persecution for His Name’s sake, not those who don’t believe Him and take His Name in vain. Their persecution isn’t pleasing to Him, but comes through His displeasure: “And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence…” (Jeremiah 29:18 KJV).
Are the things that happen to God’s people, or anyone else, out of His control? Kevin says:
“I pray that all will come to the truth and be spared the horrible things to come.”
But what do the Scriptures say?
“For the Lord GOD of hosts will make a full end, as decreed, in the midst of all the earth” (Isaiah 10:23 ESV).
“When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity blossom, it is that they shall be destroyed forever” (Psalms 92:7 MKJV).
“And that the world which then was came to an end through the overflowing of the waters. But the present heaven and the present earth have been kept for destruction by fire, which is waiting for them on the day of the judging and destruction of evil men” (2 Peter 3:6-7 BBE).
The horrible things to come, and now here, have been prophesied from long ago, as needed for the judgment and salvation of sinful men, of which Kevin is one. God’s saints look forward to this judgment, not for the sake of suffering, but for justice and His righteousness ruling on earth:
Revelation 6:9-11 MKJV
(9) And when He had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the Word of God, and for the testimony which they held.
(10) And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “Until when, Master, holy and true, do You not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
(11) And white robes were given to each one of them. And it was said to them that they should rest yet for a little time, until both their fellow servants and their brothers (those about to be killed as they were) should have their number made complete.
2 Peter 3:11-13 EMTV
(11) Therefore, seeing that all these things shall be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,
(12) looking for and hastening the coming of the Day of God, because of which the heavens, being set of fire, shall be dissolved, and the elements, burning with heat, shall melt?
(13) But according to His promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
Thankful to be among the myriads of His saints executing judgment in this, His Day,
“Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men, saying, ‘Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment against all, and to convict all the ungodly among them about all their ungodly deeds which they have committed impiously, and about all the harsh words which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him’” (Jude 1:14-15 EMTV).

Don’t shrink back from the coming fires of purification.
by Kevin Barrett
Word from the Father:
My people, listen to your Heavenly Father this day. Soon you shall witness a shaking in churches and ministries everywhere. For I am tearing down and I am building up. I am tearing down those churches and ministries which are not of My Spirit, and I am building up My true Church.
So then, listen to Me this day. Many shall be offended when I do this thing. For I shall send out My true apostles and prophets. And they shall speak My truth in love. And the Spirit of My fire shall be upon their words. And their words shall consume all that is not of me.
Oh, who shall endure in the day of My Son’s coming? For does not My word speak of this day when My Son shall be like a refiner’s fire and a fuller’s soap? For My Son shall cleanse and purify My house for a habitation. Oh, not a habitation of your church buildings, no, a habitation of My people. For My Son shall visit My people with the Spirit of burning and fire. And all those who choose to lay down their lives during this burning shall have all matters of the flesh consumed, yet they shall not be burned. Did I not give you a sign in My word through the lives of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego? Were they not thrown into the furnace of fire? Yet they did not burn, save only the ropes that bound them. And was not My Son seen in the midst of the fire with them? Then so shall it be for My Church in these last days. In the short days ahead, you shall be thrown into the refiners’ fire as you choose not to bow to the world and its ways. And in this, I shall burn all that binds you so that you may truly be free.
Howbeit, for those who do not choose this burning for purification, or who shrink back from its heat, I shall not take any pleasure in this. And those who do not choose to accept this burning for purification shall find themselves cast outside of My kingdom where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Did I not warn of this in My word? (Luke 13:28, Matt. 22:12-14)
So then, who shall stand in this day of burning? And I say to you, it shall be those who choose not to bow to the world and its ways and have laid down their lives for My will. And oh, how glorious it shall be when My people have gone through the fires of purification and shall be unto Me an offering of righteousness. And they shall be refined like silver and purified as gold and silver.
But I say unto you all now; choose this fire and do not shrink back when it comes. For the reward shall far outweigh the unpleasantness of its burning.
I love you all, My children, with an everlasting love. And it is My deepest desire that you all inherit your promises and destiny in Christ. So then, heed these words of Mine and choose wisely in the days ahead. You shall not regret it, My little ones.
To all those who are able to give toward my needs, no matter the amount; I thank you so much. You don’t know how much your donations are appreciated and needed. I pray the Lord abundantly blesses those who are considerate in helping me with my needs.
Much love to you all from your brother in Christ,
Kevin B.
Is there fire only for the righteous? Isn’t there fire for the wicked, the tares, whom Kevin Barrett doesn’t recognize or acknowledge because he is one of them?
Matthew 13:36-43 KJV
(36) Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto Him, saying, “Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.”
(37) He answered and said unto them, “He that sows the good seed is the Son of man;
(38) The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the Kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
(39) The enemy that sowed them is the Devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
(40) As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
(41) The Son of Man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His Kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
(42) And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
(43) Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
Tares are without chastisement because they’re bastards, not sons of God (Hebrews 12:8). What son of God ever prophesied and then asked for a donation? Barrett is a false prophet, as are some others on this mailing list.
Paul Cohen
Dear Mr. Cohen,
I only speak the words given to me from the Lord, and He HAS given me words on the fire for the wicked. So, I have not failed to recognize or acknowledge fire for the wicked as you falsely accuse me of here. This word that you reference was to the righteous, not the wicked. The wicked shall be burned in the coming fires, just as you have quoted. However, the word I gave speaks of purifying fires for the righteous that will NOT burn.
Honestly, I have been attacked by many. However, this is the first time I have been called one of the wicked, and by someone who knows nothing about me.
Also, in dealing with those who accuse the brethren, I have found that attempting to reason is futile. Therefore, I will simply just pray for you and ask that you please do not send me anymore unsolicited emails.
Thank you,
Kevin B.
Kevin, you haven’t answered my question. What man of God ever asked for a donation after prophesying? There was Balaam, who ran greedily after reward, and God called him “perverse.” There was Gehazi, servant of Elisha the man of God, who ran after Naaman for the reward Elisha refused. Both of these men suffered evil ends, and so will you.
You are a wicked man who has nothing to do with the Lord Jesus Christ. That’s why you don’t receive correction and run away. The wicked flee, not the righteous. But the fire is here and there’ll be no getting away from it for you. Your own words have condemned you.
