Definition of False Teacher: One who presumes to teach in the Name of the Lord when God has not sent him.

"The Ego Is Larger than Life!"

We sent this letter to many:

As a matter of interest to all, we have a new posting on our site about another False Teacher Exposed.

Len Horowitz:

The King of Vain Deceit

“Be careful that you don’t let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Messiah. For in Him all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily” (Colossians 2:8-9 HNV).

Len Horowitz is just such a thief, mixing God and Christ into his health business enterprises, calling himself the “King David of Natural Healing.” In this writing, we expose Zen Len for the unscrupulous and fraudulent ways by which he has made merchandise of many.

Carolyn’s response:

i agree

Victor’s reply:

Hi Carolyn,

Would you care to elaborate on why you agree?

Carolyn’s reply:

We ran a location for last year’s live h2o concert for living water and he seemed only concerned with the money he was or wasn’t making. There were over 50 venues worldwide, we were in Pasadena and every location was self funded and managed. We had alot of trouble finding sponsorship for the project because no one wanted to be attached to his name. I thought it was only because he was controversial and I really liked the idea of creating a world wide peace concert and sending out a high vibration and impacting the world’s water.

I was helping with the press releases and I wanted to help the general public understand his ‘528 frequency’ concept easier. I am an energy healer and have some understanding but I couldn’t get a line on his science about things. After questioning awhile he finally told me that ‘all I needed to know what what he had told me’. I don’t work like that, I’m a very functioning human that can think, reason, read and I know all other sound healing teachings from around the world all reflect that same basic concepts that are backed by solid science and practice in eastern medicine. I didn’t appreciate being treated like a silly uneducated person. I also think that if you can’t explain it… maybe it isn’t explainable. Maybe it isn’t sound. His 528 concept is actually supposed to be based on the old gregorian chant tones, which is very healing and honorable. But his mapping system seemed not correct when I did the research.

He came to our location with Dr. Masura Emoto and we had our scheduling set for Dr. Emoto to speak and then to close with Len. Len commandeered the microphone, set up a live video feed for himself and proceeded to take over the event. He was supposed to simply introduce Dr. Emoto and instead he prattled on for over an hour about doom and gloom and the end of the world. Some children were scared. His vibration was extremely low. It made me sick and I had to leave early.

We felt that the concept for the concert was sound, but his theories were not and his pushy ego centric ways were unacceptable. We will never work with him again. Sheri Thomas, who I was working for/with spoke out about this on a local radio station and has been waiting for the video footage from the event to send to the radio program, which is strangely been impossible for us to get.

In the healing space, we focus on balance and keeping a good head space. Len seemed very interested in preaching a very dark, end of the world message that we found the opposite to what the event was supposed to be about.

We actually were wondering if he was a plant. Someone who might be sent in to stir up angst in the holistic community. While selling a product that is supposed to help, but speaking information that is toxic. I’ve read online that some people actually had their radio stations raided and were arrested after he was on with them and he was no where to be found nor could he be contacted about the arrest. (weird stuff)

Although we are not a Christian organization like your group, I think from a space of honesty we can both agree that something does not bode well with his teachings. I think that he was actually trying to usher in armageddon or something. I think that we was trying to come from a Christian space, but something was off about it.

I find it interesting that your group, a Christian group, and our group more of an Eastern Philosophy/Medicine world view can agree that the ego is larger than life!

You could probably talk to Sheri [Thomas] who has more information than myself.

take care,
Carolyn

Victor and Paul’s reply:

Hi Carolyn,

Thank you for taking the time and effort in getting back to us. Most of what could be said in response to your letter concerning Len Horowitz has already been said in the paper we sent you.

I would like to focus on the last portion of your letter, in appreciation of the subject matter and your willingness to engage in that direction, in spite of the fact that we are “Christian” and you are not.

Our paper plainly declares that Horowitz only pretends to come from “a Christian space.” The man is fraudulent and mercenary, yet appears to impress and deceive many. Our main contention with him is that he brazenly uses the Names Yahweh and Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach in Hebrew) in public, yet has nothing to do with God. On the contrary, he acts and speaks in ways directly opposed to Jesus Christ, Who is God (Yahweh).

You will notice I used quotations with the word“Christian” in reference to ourselves. As Christians, we hesitate to use the term because of the blatant falsehood it most often represents in the minds of most. The vast majority of Christians are Christians in name only, as sincere as they may be (we don’t believe Horowitz is sincere). Jesus and the apostle Paul plainly warned us that many would misappropriate His Name (as did all the other prophets, apostles, and writers of the Scriptures):

“And Jesus answered and said to them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many will come in My Name, saying, I am Christ, and will deceive many” (Matthew 24:4-5 MKJV).

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 MKJV
(13) For such ones are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
(14) Did not even Satan marvelously transform himself into an angel of light?
(15) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works.

Carolyn, we find nominal Christianity to be the most subtle deception perpetrated on earth today, and it has been since Jesus Christ came in the flesh. In fact, its substance and nature goes back millennia before Him, changing labels as it goes, in order to deceive and ride the wave it perceives to be advantageous. That is not to say that any other religions are true; they are not. Indeed, they are all blood sisters to one another and to the religion of Christianity.

There are two brands of “Christian,” with many variations of the false, but only one manifestation of the true. Being far from the true, Len Horowitz borrows from many variations of the false, as it suits him, provably betraying or praising any one of those in a heartbeat if it means gain to him.

False Christianity is filled with formality, government registration, names, and titles – all those things that come with the rest of the world’s organizations. It is religion, just like government, medicine, education, evolutionism… the list is long.

True Christianity is VERY different. So what’s the difference?

True Christianity is a present, actual living relationship with the One Who demonstrated that He was God in the flesh. He proved His worth by raising Himself from the dead. No other man has ever done that, because no man can. Only God has power over death, and He represented Himself to humankind 2,000 years ago as Jesus Christ, Who claimed and proved to be the Resurrection and the Life, the Son of God.

So we are not an organization, as you may surmise without a closer look or revelation from above, though we are a very small “group.” We have a relationship with Jesus Christ, Who lives, speaks, and has made Himself and His will for our lives personally known to us today. Unlike organized religion of any kind, but particularly the Christian kind, we hear, believe, and obey Him, by His grace and not by any good or power in us, believe me. We take up the cross, as He has plainly instructed:

“Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life shall lose it, but whoever loses his life on account of Me shall find it’” (Matthew 16:24-25 EMTV).

This, Christian religion does not dare to do. For this, we are branded a cult in wide nominal Christian circles. As a result, we have published what is a cult in reality, based not on subjective, partisan opinions (as many cult definitions are), but on the Scriptures and the Life and teachings of Jesus and His disciples. These Scriptures are the very Ones false Christians use with distortion to promote themselves. Read The True Marks of a Cult.

Indeed, Carolyn, the ego is “larger than life.” It is often referred to in Scripture. For a dramatic example:

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 MKJV
(3) Let not anyone deceive you by any means. For that Day shall not come unless there first comes a falling away, and the man of sin shall be revealed, the son of perdition,
(4) who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself forth, that he is God.

Len Horowitz has given himself over to the “man of sin” nature within, otherwise known as the “ego.”

To be fair, and as you know, the man of sin (ego) not only resides in Len, but also in each one of us – we are him and he is us. Unless the ego is neutralized (which we are powerless to do), we don’t have a hope at all in being fulfilled completely and permanently.

Religions are all about trying, whether it is through good works, obedience to a set of laws, sacrifice, asceticism, fasting, prayer, or anything else. In nominal Christian circles, for example, the Catholic Church has several such formulae for “success,” though none work in and of themselves, nor can they work.

Buddhists and Hindus reach for enlightenment and nirvana, yet you will not find one devotee who has accomplished his or her goal. Not even the Dalai Lama claims to have reached that blissful fulfillment. At best, people have experienced brief moments of joy and peace. When something disagreeable enough comes along to test, any semblance of nirvana disappears. The problem is, the man of sin, the ego, must die.

We also have been ruled by the man of sin, seeing the man of sin is in all, and here is what was done about that problem in us, and will be done for every individual in his or her time:

2 Thessalonians 2:8-10 MKJV
(8) And then the lawless one [ego, man of sin] will be revealed, whom the Lord [Jesus Christ] shall consume with the breath of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming,
(9) whose coming [referring to the man of sin or ego] is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
(10) and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, so that they might be saved.

Truly, the enemy is within. Only Jesus Christ, Who has power over death and all of His creation (He made all things), can free us from the bondage of our ego, and He completes it in three stages. Read The Three Degrees and Victor Hafichuk’s Testimony.

This is that enlightenment or nirvana or inner peace for which men long and search. This is that “fountain of youth.” This is “The Secret.” He has granted this to us, notwithstanding the trials and difficulties we must face while in the flesh for now. He is all of this. In His Person is Life:

“In the beginning was the Word [referring to Jesus Christ], and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men” (John 1:1-4 MKJV).

Now perhaps we sound just like Horowitz to you. Mark, however, at least four major differences:

One – We proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and not ourselves. That is what our Path of Truth website is all about.

Two – We promise nothing from ourselves, as though we can deliver the goods (we can’t – only Jesus Christ can, and we can only point others to Him).

Three – We explain that which we have been freely given and proclaim so that others can have it as well, always Lord willing.

Four – We do not, dare not, and cannot, charge anything. The Truth is free.

Please forgive me, Carolyn, if I appear to be speaking as though you are ignorant of any of these matters. I thought it best to try to be as clear as I could, in case you are unfamiliar. My repeating what you already know shouldn’t hurt you…or me.

Sheri Thomas has shared her information with us. Thanks to both of you.

As an aside, we have found Grander Water Revitalization to be very beneficial. We use it on our organic farm in Alberta and in all our homes for many years now, with excellent results. Maybe you are familiar with Grander. You can read more about it at www.HarvestHaven.com, our farm and health business site, in the “Water” section (under “Structure of Water”).

Carolyn’s reply:

Hello Victor,

thanks for writing back. I liked your letter and didn’t feel spoken down to at all. I am grateful for your efforts. It was a tremendous learning experience for myself and Sheri and the Len situation was dreadful. Absolutely dreadful. I hope that he doesn’t take advantage of anyone else in his efforts for world domination. ha!

Thanks so much!

Carolyn
