False Teacher – George Warnock

“I Will Make Your Heaven Like Iron”

God did not hear George Warnock's prayers. Why? When God sent a man to speak to him, George would not listen. When a man doesn't listen, it is because he is proud, but when God doesn't hear, it is to break the pride of man's power.

Paul sent this letter by mail to George Warnock on July 6th, 2009:

Mr. Warnock,

Paul Cohen here; I spoke to you on the phone the morning of June 30th about sending you some letters and writings, which you agreed you would like to see. Victor Hafichuk, brother in the Lord, met with you in 1999, at which time he spoke and wrote to you about how things were not right in your walk, and as a consequence there were plagues on you and your loved ones. Here is his letter, followed by your reply (after which I will resume my letter):

Greetings to All!

In March of 1976, the Lord spoke to me, starting by saying, “I am hurting! I am hurting!” I could feel the agony. I could “hear” His pain. He then proceeded to show me basically that His people were suffering because they were partaking in the things of the world, the pleasures, customs, traditions, religious observations, vices, etc. They lacked discipline, disregarding the Law of God, ignorant and stubborn, proud and foolish.

Oh, they went to church, red some Bible, partook in various “spiritual” or “Christian” or religious activities in Christ’s Name, witnessed, preached, and all those things one commonly thinks are done within a relationship with Christ, but God said, “they were doing their own thing, choosing their own ways, ignorant of His.”

I’m writing to tell you that God’s Word holds true, saying:

“He said, ‘If you will listen carefully to the LORD your God and do what He considers right, if you pay attention to His commands and obey all His laws, I will never make you suffer any of the diseases I made the Egyptians suffer, because I am the LORD, Who heals you’” (Exodus 15:26 GW).

If we are with the world in their customs, philosophies, and activities, we are with the world in the consequences for same. The two go hand-in-hand, and God is no respecter of persons.

Many a prayer has gone out for your Rebekah and healing has not come, as it did for those who were healed as recorded in the Scriptures, whether by Jesus, the apostles, prophets, or other saints like Philip. God is not a liar; neither is He slack concerning His promises. Here is one for you:

“If My people, who are called by My Name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14 MKJV).

You have prayed and prayed, and others have done so. But you must humble yourselves, and what is left of that promise in terms of requirement but to turn from your wicked ways?

Do not get into the “condemnation” bit. I do this not to condemn but deliver and not by carnal reasoning, either. You must cleanse yourselves of idols and worldly ways. You must become violent and “storming.” I do not believe that it was age or natural tiredness that I witnessed there. What I saw was compromise, in the name of nonjudgmentalism, rationalization resulting from getting no desirable and needful results from God – discouragement, skepticism, defeat, and even cynicism.

Mr. Warnock, from your own lips I heard numerous confessions of justification and rationalization, which ought not to be there. In your home, I also saw, without looking, many things that ought not to be. Please do not get offended, seeing as how we were guests, as though we are ungrateful. For your sakes and for Rebekah’s, and all your family, please listen.

I’m sending some papers; please read them, all of you.

“And He said to all, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me. For whoever will save his life shall lose it, but whoever will lose his life for My sake, he shall save it” (Luke 9:23-24 MKJV). Read also verses 25 and 26 before you go on.

Those who are ashamed of the Lord seek this world’s good, be it financial, social, whatever.

You say you did not know the truth about vaccinations. But why did not the Lord inform and/or keep you? You were flowing with the world. You still are.

When there is repentance and wholesale identification with the Lord, and a forsaking of acquaintances and relationships with the world, “Christians” or otherwise, that are not pleasing to God, I believe that healing is going to come, not only for Rebekah but for others, not only in terms of physical health but all other areas as well.

There is much that could be said. For now, I will see if truth or pride will win. I believe I speak in answer to those prayers gone up for Rebekah’s healing, and you must hear what the Lord requires of you and do it if you are ever to see the desired results – desired by Him even more than by yourselves.

Dear Victor

Evan and his friend dropped by yesterday, and we enjoyed a good time of fellowship. They dropped off some of those videos you mentioned…which we have not had opportunity to see as yet. They also gave me the envelope containing a personal letter to be shared with Ruth and with Sharon and Warren – which I will do. Also some of your writings, which I will pass on to them.

I think of what Paul said concerning the outworking of his ministry. He found the approval of God in different ways…both in the positive and in the negative. I think it is good if we can learn God’s approval in both ways, without having any bitterness in the heart. And so Paul discovered God used both ways to work out a good purpose in his life and ministry, and to enlarge his heart. “By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true (2 Cor. 6:8). When the report is ‘evil’…I have learned to seek the Lord in the matter, and search out my heart, praying as David did: “Search me, O Lord, and know me…try me and know my thoughts. See if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting”. And so either way, if our hearts are right, we will discover that He “giveth more grace”. In the ‘the good report’ we find a lot of encouragement. Yet we know that somewhere down the line there will be an ‘evil report’…which leads to heart-searching. We have felt the Lord would have us keep our hearts open to receive God’s people – knowing full well that there will be from time to time some who might see a few cob-webs on the ceiling – but we are thankful for the many who go away refreshed and renewed in their faith, and encouraged to fight the good fight of faith.

May the Lord bless…and lead you and your family into the good pastures of His grace and truth.

Sincerely,
(Signed) George H. Warnock

Mr. Warnock, Paul again.

What happened at that time was that pride, and not Truth, won the day with you. You brushed aside the Word of God in order to keep your life, and so there was no answer to your prayers for healing, as you were warned there would not be if you continued in your ways.

What other losses have you sustained because you didn’t listen? [Rebekah, his granddaughter, had died.]

Living in defeat while presuming to minister Christ to others is a terrible thing in itself. You have no idea what you have been missing because you rationalized away God’s warning to repent and to forsake the corrupt ways of men. Instead, you continued in your accommodation with man and false religion that kept you separated from God.

You liken your compromising in the things of Christ and His righteousness to a few cobwebs on the ceiling. You were being addressed regarding something more akin to eating out of the toilet, while you chose to throw the good food of God down the garbage disposal. This is not poetic exaggeration; it is the reality of what you chose for yourself.

Is it any wonder that you and those following you are suffering in so many ways? How can you renew and encourage others in the faith of Christ when you rejected His Words that would have led you into His faith? You have been teaching doctrinal knowledge, not faith. You are in delusion and hypocrisy.

Will you continue to write off the Word of God that came to you through Victor? We write you again, not to condemn you, but in the hope you will recognize your sin and God’s mercy in sending someone to warn you by exposing the agents of death and destruction in your lives. Whether you believe us or not, we are not speaking to you in vain. The Word of God accomplishes His will. It is His will that every person comes to a place of repentance:

Philippians 2:9-11 MKJV
(9) Therefore God has highly exalted Him, and has given Him a Name which is above every name,
(10) that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of heavenly ones, and of earthly ones, and of ones under the earth;
(11) and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Mr. Warnock, despite your many years of religious life and works, you have not been bowing to Jesus Christ and confessing His Name. You are doing your own thing in His Name.

In your letter to Victor, you wrongly applied the apostle Paul’s words to the Corinthians about how he was proven to be an approved minister of God by the good and evil reports circulating about him. The report Victor gave you of yourself was not an evil report of the kind Paul was referring to – one of darkness, hearsay, and false accusations made behind the back. What you received were the wounds of a friend – light from God for correction for your sake. Your rejection of correction manifests God’s disapproval of your works rather than His approval.

But this doesn’t mean that all you have taught or said is untrue. The Pharisees taught the resurrection and other true things. That did not make them right with God.

We have found some of your statements to be true and of great significance, because God has given us the very things you write about. Here is a glorious one. You write:

I am confident God will yet raise up a true Testimony of Jesus to carry this Gospel of the Kingdom to the land of Israel, as well as to the four corners of the earth. And I do not mean a message only, or a teaching from the Bible only, but a living Word that will go forth: ‘not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power’ (1 Cor 2:4).

The Lord has done this with us. We have been prepared and sent by Him to carry the true Testimony of Jesus Christ to Israel and the world. I am enclosing the capstone writing of a series of writings prophetically spoken to the dead bones and nation of Israel, which God has given us to raise the Jews from the dead (The Key for Israel and the Jew).

You also write in The Vision and the Appointment about a new man (created in Christ) in whom God rests, and who rests in God. The Lord said to Victor many years ago, “You are my Sabbath.” In 2000 Victor entered into this rest, the fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles. I have also included his testimony that briefly goes through the steps the Lord took him.

There is much more on our site, Mr. Warnock, available to you if you wish to have anything printed off and red to you. If your heart is turned towards the Lord, you will no doubt do that. But if it is not, you will walk away once again, insisting on your own righteousness and perishing in your sins.

To: Paul Cohen

I received your envelope a few days ago, containing your letter, and a testimony of Victor Hafichuk, and an article entitled “The Key for Israel and the Jew.” You may recall I mentioned that I really did not have time to read a lot of material that comes my way .. but at your insistence I agreed to receive what you wanted to send — with a promise I would go through the material and read some of it at least, which I did. I get many articles in the mail, and if and when I have time I look through it. But with failing ‘eye-sight’ I do not attempt to read all these articles that come my way. But I did appreciate Victor’s testimony how he came to know the Lord Jesus, and the struggles he went through in the process of God’s dealings in his life. And how eventually he found peace through our Lord Jesus Christ.

As for his personal letter to me, I was a bit shocked to hear him judge me this way. He said when he visited us, what he saw was “compromise, in the name of nonjudgmentalism, rationalization resulting from getting no desirable and needful results from God, discouragement, skepticism, defeat, and even cynicism”. And after a few more comments he said, “For now I will see if truth or pride will win”. So he clearly takes the place of my judge. He also accused me of allowing our little grand-daughter take that crippling vaccination. Their parents allowed it innocently – and they are in charge of their home, and I knew nothing about the vaccination till some time later. In his letter he charged me as one who disobeyed the Lord, by refusing to follow the counsel he gave me.

Then you Paul, saw fit to enlarge on the “judgment” with words like this: “You chose to throw the good food of God down the garbage disposal. This is not poetic exaggeration; it is the reality of what you chose for yourself”. A few other ‘choice’ but very ignorant charges: “Your rejection of correction manifests God’s disapproval of your works..” And then when you found those words in my writings about God raising up a true ‘testimony’ in the land of Israel, you boasted “The Lord has done this with us”. And again,. “God has given us the very things you write about..”

Frankly, I do not recall a word from either you (Paul, or Victor) disclosing our errors .. except that one about the vaccine given to our grand-daughter .. which neither Ruth nor myself knew anything about at the time. But there were plenty of unfounded judgmental words. The Lord burned into my heart His will for my life, as I was earnestly seeking Him in prayers.. sometimes with fastings: it was a passage from Micah the prophet:

“He hath shown thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” This was quickened to my heart when I was in my early thirties, (I am close to 92 at this time). Many times the Lord has reminded me of it. I know I have failed God many times.. but the Lord has been faithful to remind me of this high calling .. and bring me to repentance. For many years after having received this message .. I was inclined to think somewhat lightly of it. And then one day I realized my failure: and I discovered the full impact of that vision. Why did I not understand earlier, that there can be no higher calling than “to walk humbly with thy God”?. How could I have waited so long to appreciate this ‘call’ of God in my life? Then it became clear: it was because I did not know God well enough! Since this revelation to my heart, I cannot now conceive of any higher calling, in this world, or in the world to come: than to humbly walk with my God!

Sincerely,

(Signed) George Warnock

PS Please do not send me any more of those Judgmental letters. God is my Judge, and I do not care to receive any more letters like the one you sent .. much of it based on a misguided concept of what you have seen or heard.

Our final response to George Warnock, which, although he asked that no reply be sent to him, is published for the sake of all others who will read and learn from his evil example, or choose to follow it and be destroyed.

Mr. Warnock,

First, let’s set the record straight: I didn’t insist that you receive the materials, but when I told you what they were, you readily volunteered that you wanted to receive and see them. I didn’t have to urge you to do anything.

And why would I insist on going to the trouble of copying and mailing you letters and writings, if you made it clear you were not interested, but would only agree under duress? I have learned there is no point in that and would not have wasted my time or resources.

But if I were to have insisted or reasoned with you on reading these things, why do you assume my motive was evil? Your language implies I did something dishonorable, if not deceitful and despicable. You imagine I compelled you, when it was your freely-made decision to receive and read the materials. If you see evil in what I did, it is only coming from your own evil imagination, the prime source of the accuser of the brethren.

I have an important question for you (though you have shut yourself off from any two-way conversation from the beginning): If you knew that what you had to say to another person was vitally important, wouldn’t you possibly urge them to read something? Are you telling us that you have been a minister of Christ all these decades, and you have never felt or acted in this manner, compelled to speak to those who did not want to hear?

Jeremiah 7:25-27 HNV
(25) Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt to this day, I have sent to you all My servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:
(26) yet they didn’t listen to Me, nor inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff: they did worse than their fathers.
(27) You shall speak all these words to them; but they will not listen to you: you shall also call to them; but they will not answer you.

Your lack of understanding or recognition of the weightiness of spiritual matters, the Ways of the Lord, and how men react to His Word, says much about your ministry, Mr. Warnock. It says you are a liar and a phony.

However, I didn’t urge our materials on you, not for lack of recognition of the value or importance of what we had to say to you, but because I knew you were hardened in sin and would reject them whether physically receiving them or not. Having been offered the personal letters and writing, had you simply said “No,” our part would have been done, because, after speaking to you once and explaining what we had for you, rejecting our offer out of hand would have meant that your blood was on your head.

But you didn’t reject. Instead you chose to see what we had written you (and the writing fulfilling your words that God would raise a testimony of His living Word to His people, Israel), condemning yourself afterwards by your reaction. You took the bait, so to speak, which was not meant for evil, but has evil consequences for you because you judge and contemn the Truth.

You say that Victor has wrongly taken the place of your judge. Why? Because he said we would see whether truth or pride would win out by your reaction to the Words the Lord gave him for you. Have you not rejected His Words, showing that your pride has won? Jesus said this of Himself, which Words also pertains to those He sends, who speak His Words:

“He who rejects Me and does not receive My Words has One Who judges him; the Word that I have spoken, the Same shall judge him in the last day” (John 12:48 MKJV).

You betray your ignorance of, and contempt for, the Ways of God.

You say we did not disclose your errors. The problem is not that we did not disclose them, but that you are blind. What is worse, you hold your hands over your eyes, refusing to see. You act as if there is no offense on your part, but if this is so, then why does God not hear your prayers, forgive your sin, and heal your land?

After being given notice of your offending ways, you were told that much more could be said, yet you did not for a moment seek to know or understand. You dismissed it all out of hand, calling it “cobwebs.” But there will be those who see and understand, who will review these letters and see your sins for themselves, plain as day:

“From one month to the next and from one week to the next all people will come to worship Me, declares the LORD. Then they will go out and look at the corpses of those who have rebelled against Me. The worms that eat them will not die. The fire that burns them will not go out. All humanity will be disgusted by them” (Isaiah 66:23-24 GW).

You say we boast of ourselves because God has raised up His testimony through us to the nation of Israel, according to your prayer. You are so wrong. If we boast, it is in the Lord, Who has done such a marvelous thing, and not in ourselves, who are merely His instruments and witnesses to His work. You have despised God, not man, Who has fulfilled your own words of hope, for which you have absolutely no care or interest. You show yourself to be a brute, who is only interested in filling his belly.

You say the Lord has given you a revelation of your high calling, which is to walk humbly with Him. You do anything but walk humbly with God. If you did walk humbly, you would believe what He has given us to speak to you. You are altogether a son of destruction, a liar and deceiver.

You mislead all those who would follow you, in essence declaring to them, “Here is where it is at! Isn’t it wonderful here?” while you entertain them outside the gate of the celestial city of God.

“Forget judgment,” you say, “ignore that flaming sword over there, why should you die? What a feast we can have here!” – with “the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and makes a lie” (Revelation 22:15 MKJV).
