Definition of False Teacher: One who presumes to teach in the Name of the Lord when God has not sent him.

False Teacher – Andrew Wommack

Faith in Christ, Not in Wommack

The children of God don't judge false teachers by their signs and wonders (if they have any), but by their fruits. The religious children of this world judge by signs and wonders, and are taken in, because their confidence isn't in the Living God. They believe Pharaoh's magicians and are drowned, following Pharaoh into the sea.

We received this note in response to Andrew Wommack – God Is Sovereign: Man Is Presumptuous:

To whom it may concern:

Who made you judge about those you believe are false teachers? It’s quite a collection and I only know a few of them; in particular Andrew Womack. You question if he really raised his son from the dead.

Didn’t Jesus say before he ascended to heaven, that we can do all the things he did and beyond, if we just have the necessary faith. It‘s obvious to me that Andrew is a man of faith I have seldom seen in anyone else. This does not give me the right to question his claims, just because it has never worked for me, the cause being the doubts in my heart.

Doubts in the heart of the person who authored the writings on your website is obvious. You describe Andrew’s actions as carnal and not in touch with the spirit of God. I really believe you have no idea what you are talking about. I really urge you to ask God for revelation.

G. Stender

Victor and Paul’s reply:

Hi G,

We never questioned whether God can raise the dead by His servants today. We know He can and has because we’ve seen it happen. We have believed and do believe in miracles and all the gifts of the Spirit of Christ, so you’re beating a straw man on this point. This isn’t an issue of unbelief in God and His present-day activity, but unbelief in Wommack. Big difference.

Are doubts obvious by the writers? Doubts of what and of whom? You don’t say, and can’t. If you red our postings responsibly and extensively, you would find conquering faith and defeated doubt. Read Our Testimonies and tell us if we haven’t believed. Read wHaT tHe LoRd HaS dOnE wItH mE and tell us whether you find faith or unbelief. But it sounds like you have your mind made up because you have an idol, and that idol is Andrew Wommack.

Can you tell us how your life was dramatically changed by the Lord and how He spoke to you and how you have heard His voice? Not if you follow Andrew Wommack or any other false teacher.

You may believe you know what you’re talking about and we don’t. You may have great faith in Andrew Wommack. You may believe you have us all sized up, but what do you really know, G?

Opinion and criticism only demonstrate that you lack knowledge and understanding of the Lord and His Kingdom. Note that while we have given specifics and Scripture to substantiate what we say, you give us nothing more than your opinion, which is worthless to both man and God. So doing, you speak against the Lord. Keep it up and you condemn yourself. Repent of it, and perhaps the Lord will show mercy?

You ask an important question and we will answer it, not that you deserve an answer. You ask, “Who made you judge about those you believe are false teachers?

The answer is the Lord Jesus Christ:

“Having made all haste to write to you about the common salvation, beloved, I had need to write to you to exhort you to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints” (Jude 1:3 MKJV).

“Then Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace to you. As My Father has sent Me, even so I send you’” (John 20:21 MKJV).

“And Enoch, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied to these, saying, ‘Behold, the Lord came with myriads of His saints, to do judgment against all, and to rebuke all the ungodly of them concerning all their ungodly works which they ungodly did, and concerning all the hard things ungodly sinners spoke against Him’” (Jude 1:14-15 MKJV).

“Do you not know that we shall judge angels, not to mention the things of this life?” (1 Corinthians 6:3 MKJV).

Let us now ask you a question: Who made you judge of us?

Victor

G.’s response:

I pray that you will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, repent of your false condemnation of Christians and humbly submit to Jesus Christ as Lord.

Please refrain from trying to communicate with me any longer.

Victor and Paul’s reply:

G,

You asked us a question and we answered it, though you didn’t think there was a valid answer to be had and you didn’t have one coming.

You’re the one who started this conversation and you did so with false assumptions and faultfinding defiance. Now we have asked you a question and you don’t answer.

As for the prayer you make for us (in letter, not in the Spirit), we will have you know it was answered many years ago. Now we can only wait for it to be answered for you; however, in your pride and presumption, it seems that won’t happen any time soon. You’re the one who needs to repent of idolizing men and condemning true Christians.

May God lead Andrew to the Truth, drawing him to the Son and turning him from his own way.

If we don’t hear from you again, it’s unlikely you’ll be hearing from us.

Victor
