Sir I was raised in United Pentecostal Church my entire life I am 57 years old at this time and have not attended church for the past 20 months because reasons I will disclose later. Numerous things led up to my departure from the church and I Have Become somewhat Disturbed by not believing now the things that I was told all my life to believe examples are speaking in tongues is a sign of receiving the Holy Ghost and a mandate to pay 10% tithing. Don’t get me wrong I believe in tongues and interpretation if it is from God but when people walk around with their eyes wide open blabbering I am disturbed by it.My life has been plagued by tragedy and I have fallen short of my goals but I really want to be a true child of God.

After reviewing my post to you I was reminded of the scripture that admonishes everyone to work out their own salvation and realized that I know what I believe because of what I know of and through the word of God.
I will also add that Jesus equated baptism with believing as a prerequisite for salvation.
He said he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. Mark 16:16
In Acts when Peter was asked what they must do to be saved he said repent and be baptized.
There is no virtue in the water The Virtue is in obedience.
May my Lord and savior Jesus the Christ the only begotten son of God who sits alone on the throne who made the world and reconciled it unto himself bless you.

Your subject line says: “Desiring to be free!”
Yet here you are, asking for help from one you deem to be free, a true child of God, while you lecture him contrary to what the Lord has given him. Shouldn’t you also recognize that those who are with the Lord are also with Him on His throne? Would you knowingly talk to the Lord the way you’re talking here? Should you be so confident in your understanding and reckless regarding those who have received their understanding from Christ?
You may desire to be free, but I don’t see you as prepared to be free until you come down from your throne of carnal knowledge.

The Bible says that it is of no private interpretation and here I find you setting up your own salvation plan apart from what I read in the scriptures with my carnal mind which after reading the scriptures gives me a spiritual mind you are like all the others who have decided in their way is the only way and I found that to be disturbing that is the movement that I left and will be no part of. If in fact that God has given you a revalation that does not line up with the Bible then you too may be of a false Doctrine. The Apostle Paul said follow me as I follow Christ I don’t find your name in Bible so I will stick to what the Apostle says. Thanks for your correspondence and may God bless you.

You think the Scriptures gave you a spiritual mind because you’re a Bibliolater, David. We received our spiritual mind from Christ, which you find offensive because it comes against you and the idol of the Scriptures you’ve made in your own image.
You don’t follow the apostle Paul. “For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the Gospel; not in wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect” (1 Corinthians 1:17 MKJV).
You follow Diotrephes (3 John), which should suit you fine, seeing his name is in the Bible.

Neither as being Lords over God’s Heritage but being examples to the flock 1st Peter 5 verse 3.
You have a haughty spirit and a lot of pride.
God has millions that have not bowed their knee to Baal.
I believe you are a false teacher because you show no love only contemp.
1st John 3 verse 8 says he that loveth not knoweth not God for God is love.
You live in a glass house but I pray you will be saved.

The one who practices false love also doesn’t know God’s love or God. That’s you, Dave. You hate those who love God and who love you by telling you the truth.
“Have I then become your enemy by telling you the truth?” (Galatians 4:16 ESV)
You’re a preacher of False Love – Satan’s Last Stronghold.
“If anyone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar. For if he does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God Whom he has not seen?” (1 John 4:20 MKJV)

You keep company with whited sepulchers and their disciples, worshipping Baal and Ashtoreth as you promote counterfeit love and speak blasphemous things against God. Should we not hate these things and those who champion them? Surely! Your days are up for both you and your companions.
