Definition of False Teacher: One who presumes to teach in the Name of the Lord when God has not sent him.

False Teacher – Aimee McPherson

Not a Woman of God

Did the Lord put women in spiritual authority over men, or was that someone else's idea? What is the example and teaching of the servants of God? Aimee Semple McPherson came against God's order and teaching, pursued her own agenda, and, as with so many others, leads many astray in her deception even to this day.

Victor wrote this letter to a woman who used the name “Granny.” She sent us Aimee Semple McPherson’s website when she unsubscribed from The Issues of Life.

Hi Granny,

I went to the website you gave us. There is nothing there of reality. It is religious “feel good” material from the knowledge of good and evil; there is no life there. Such sites are a dime a dozen, deceiving people and lulling them into a false sense of security with God. Yes, God is good; yes, He is love; yes, without faith it is impossible to please Him. Yet, in truth, none of those things are found in that site. More than anything else, works of the flesh are manifest. Of these, it is said:

“Concerning the works of men, by the Words of Your lips, I am kept from the paths of the destroyer” (Psalms 17:4 MKJV).

Foursquare was started by a woman. God has never indicated in any way in Scripture that He has used females to teach or exercise authority over men. His apostles, pastors, evangelists, teachers, elders and deacons exercising authority with men and churches have been men in Scripture. Why did not the Lord appoint a female apostle?

As for prophets, while there have been women (prophetesses), they have not been in positions of authority, with the exception of one that I know of, and, even there, Barak was free to decide for himself. Deborah could not and did not exercise authority in his life in the matter recorded. Miriam was a prophetess, but she was not there to teach men or exercise authority over them. So with Huldah and others.

Aimee Semple McPherson was a sensationalist, a deceiver, a deluded soul, and not a woman of God, even if she started no church at all. Foursquare comes from her. Those involved are deceived. They do not serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

So this explains why we must preach that which your reject. In your darkness of “love,” “faith,” and “righteousness,” you are perishing. Read Our Testimonies, Counterfeit Christianity, The High Places and The True Marks of a Cult, that is, if you are truly interested in doing God’s will rather than your own, or any other. Also read Religious Images, Icons, and Likenesses.

We have removed your address from the mailing list of The Issues of Life.

Contending earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints, addressing the ungodly who destroy themselves in their “godliness,”

Victor

Granny’s response:

🙂

Victor’s reply:

“So he said to him, Friend, how did you come in here not having wedding clothes? And he was speechless” (Matthew 22:12 EMTV).
