Accidental Death

Hello,

I read your article on David Wilkerson and Carter Conlon. I couldn’t disagree more with each point that was in it. It was very mean spirited especially referring to his sudden “accidental” death. His death was not accidental. God knew exactly how and when he would die. As for his ministry and Teen Challenge, God has richly blessed his ministry many times over. Remember that every good thing comes from Jesus Christ. I was attending his church in 2001 when he was given word that something terrible was coming to New York. The regular church functions stopped six weeks before 9/11 and we in the church were all called to repentance. The fruits of his ministry speak for themselves.Without God’s blessings on him and his ministry, nothing would have and still continue flourish.

God Bless You,

Ernie

Hi Ernie,

We agree with you that God knew exactly how and when David would die. In fact, that’s our point – the Sovereign God and Lord Jesus Christ took him by an accident (“unexpected” or “unintentional” death on David’s part – not an accident in that it happened without God). It was a tragedy, not a natural death or one of a martyr. God doesn’t take His faithful sons through tragedies. He did this with David because of sin, as with these other “accidental” deaths:

“Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were sinners above all men who lived in Jerusalem? I tell you, No. But unless you repent, you will all likewise perish” (Luke 13:4-5 MKJV).

So what if David called on people to repent? The pope did that with the mafia last year. And this year he prays to Allah, the moon god, with the Muslims, facing Mecca. David remained in the place of uncleanness instead of coming out and leading people to safety in the bosom of the Father:

“Therefore come out from among them and be separated, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing. And I will receive you and I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty” (2 Corinthians 6:17-18 MKJV).

David was under God’s wrath, and so are you:

“And I heard another voice from Heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people, that you may not be partakers of her sins, and that you may not receive of her plagues. For her sins joined together, even up to Heaven, and God has remembered her unjust deeds” (Revelation 18:4-5 MKJV).

You’ve gone for signs and wonders, like the alleged 9-11 warning, because you haven’t received a love of the Truth.

“For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders; so much so that, if it were possible, they would deceive even the elect” (Matthew 24:24 MKJV).

2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 MKJV
(8) And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming,
(9) whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
(10) and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, so that they might be saved.
(11) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie,
(12) so that all those who do not believe the truth, but delight in unrighteousness, might be condemned.

David gave many unspecified warnings; this one happened to be closer to a tragic event. Such generality does not constitute the fruit of a prophet of God. Can you point us to any example in Scripture where a prophet of God said something like, “I feel like something is going to happen,” and not say what it was? Is that how God talks? Foolish man, show us in Scripture where God speaks that way. Or do you really believe the Scriptures to be authoritative and profitable for godly guidance and instruction (2 Timothy 3:16, 17)?

The regular church functions stopped six weeks before 9/11 and we in the church were all called to repentance.

So the “functions” stopped and you “were all called to repentance.” Did that stop the tragic event? What are you saying? What does all that prove God was doing anything with you, except giving you over to, or holding you in, strong delusion? What are the fruits? You give us nothing!

Remember that every good thing comes from Jesus Christ.”

Is an unexpected, messy, undignified, tragic car accident a good thing, Ernie? You tell us.

These things are in our posting on David and Carter, and in links given there for further illumination and judgment on the matter. You obviously haven’t red or considered those. Your uniformed and unsubstantiated opinion amounts to nothing with the Lord.

You bless us and we are blessed by God, Ernie. For your sake, review the posting and read the links I’ve mentioned. You are under God’s wrath and in His strong delusion as you speak. Repent; turn from your gods! Cease being a Baal worshipper, or perish.

Hello Paul and Victor,

You never addressed the fruits of Teen Challenge. This has been the most successful drug rehabilitation program in the world and has brought countless addicts to the loving salvation of Jesus Christ. This kind of program does not prosper without the help of God.

1 Corinthians 13
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

I placed this scripture here for you and I. Your email was not kind and was quite boastful. You have made a lot of assumptions about me and my walk with God without knowing who I am. I have accepted Jesus Christ into my heart. He has forgiven me of my sins. I am also reading and trying to do his Word with the help of the Holy Spirit.

By the way Mr. Wilkerson is not a false prophet because he never claimed to be a prophet to began with.

I will be praying for you and your well intentioned but hugely misguided ministry. Many cults such as yours ( and the devil) quote the Bible for their own purposes.

Sincerely,
Ernie

“And though I give out all my goods to feed the poor, and though I deliver my body to be burned, and have not charity, I am profited nothing” (1 Corinthians 13:3 MKJV).

Hi Ernie,

We understand what you’re saying and where you’re coming from; we HEAR you, though you won’t believe us, not comprehending how we can say the things we’re saying.

Are those persons to whom you refer genuinely converted to Christ or are they merely proselytized twofold children of their converters? Do they know the Lord or are they tares, taking upon themselves the Lord’s Name in vain? We can tell you that of all those who name His Wonderful Name, only a tiny fraction are genuinely the Lord’s born again servants and brothers.

We have met many who claim the Name and even fame for playing the game but are lame and not tame, not the same as those with perfect aim – it is a shame.

Pardon the poetic approach here, but it speaks truth, Ernie.

You “place the Scripture” for us and we can place that very same one for you. You are beating a straw man, with His Word not rightly divided, but misapplied. You accuse us of pride and boastfulness. How so? We have nothing to be proud of, but if we boast, it is, and only can be, of Jesus Christ. Perhaps you mistake for arrogance our godly knowledge and His assurance and sure conviction of what He has given and done with us.

Have you ever considered how deceptive the works must be of the false ones that they should, if possible, deceive the very elect? Have you honestly considered that? Yet, you speak boldly yourself as though you know that you know that you know? Are you so sure you are the elect and not vulnerable to God’s strong delusion that He sends to those who don’t love the truth (2 Thess. 2)?

You say, “You have made a lot of assumptions about me and my walk with God without knowing who I am. I have accepted Jesus Christ into my heart. He has forgiven me of my sins. I am also reading and trying to do his Word with the help of the Holy Spirit.”

Do you not realize that your own words give you away as a victim of “another Jesus” and “another gospel”? Do you not believe the Scriptures that declare we can assuredly know that which you say we don’t or can’t know? You say we make assumptions. Have you considered that you are guilty of the very things you say we’re guilty of? Ernie, as born again saints and His express servants, we see these things. You need to consider that you are the blind and ignorant one here. Not putting you down, just telling you what we’re given to see for your sake. Talk to us.

I will be praying for you and your well intentioned but hugely misguided ministry. Many cults such as yours (and the devil) quote the Bible for their own purposes.

You contradict yourself and are blaspheming. If our intentions are good, they would be of God and not of ourselves, for the Scriptures clearly declare that men have no good intentions. If our intentions are of God, then we wouldn’t be misguided or false.

Notice, and we remind you once more, that while we have given substance from God and the Scriptures to support what we say, you have given us nothing, Ernie, nothing at all other than your opinion. Don’t you see that? Is that good? Is it valid?

So are YOUR intentions good? They can’t be. Your intention is to defend your partisan position, assuming that your spiritual mentors are messengers of Truth from God. You speak and act against God, “killing” us thinking you do Him service, even as Jesus said would happen (John 16:2).

If you are the fruits of Wilkerson’s ministry and Teen Challenge, and we’ve seen much of such, you only confirm what we see and prove our words. How foolish must you be? How sharply must we rebuke you so that you might come to see? Consider soberly. Repent, if you still can – not sure that option is any longer available to you!

Thank you for your response but your email has a very angry tone to it. If you and your ministry do not have and show the love of God, then you are the deceived ones. Jesus always showed loved to those he ministered to and we are called to be Christ like.

“For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7 MKJV).

Ernie, there’s no anger here whatsoever – none at all. Now either you deliberately fault and falsely accuse us to justify yourself in rejecting the truth we speak so that you may retain your gods and sins, or it is your corrupt perception out of ungodly fear that blinds you to the True Love of God, or both. Which is it? I believe it’s both.

The truth is that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that there is no other way to God but through Jesus Christ. Salvation is only through Jesus Christ. He shed his blood for the redemption of our sins. We must accept Jesus into our heart and repent of our former sinful ways. We can not work our way to salvation through our own efforts. We must have the help of the Holy Spirit to follow every word of the Bible. The Holy Spirit guides, directs us, and helps us to understand the holy word of God.

No other man or man made organization like your own should be interpreting to word of God of other people. This is not Biblical and is spiritually very dangerous My prayer for you and all others in your organization is that you find and come to the full saving grace of Jesus Christ. Then, instead of all of your “war of words”, you will have the peace and love of Christ.

Your sole interest seems to be to tell me that I am not saved and deceived. My interest for you is that you could be saved and find the peace and joy that I have through Jesus Christ.

No other man or man made organization like your own should be interpreting to word of God of other people.

So why don’t you do as you say, Ernie?

And why does the Lord provide apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists and teachers, if not to teach from the Scriptures by the Spirit of God? Why did Philip have to teach the meaning of the Scriptures to the eunuch? Why are wives commanded to learn from their husbands and children from their parents? Do you not see just how foolish and in darkness you are? Of course not! That is the state of the deceived.

Because you haven’t had the love of the truth, the Lord has sent you strong delusion that you should believe a lie.

As we’ve told you before, you’re following another Jesus and a strange gospel rather than the True Word of God. Our God, the Lord Jesus Christ, gives us discernment and revelation to speak of many people, especially those who have falsely presumed to speak in His Name.

“Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men, saying, ‘Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment against all, and to convict all the ungodly among them about all their ungodly deeds which they have committed impiously, and about all the harsh words which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him’” (Jude 1:14-15 EMTV).

“But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged by no one. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:15-16 MKJV).

You’re living in a fool’s paradise, Ernie. It won’t last, especially now that you’re speaking against the Lord.

“There is no peace, says my God, to the wicked” (Isaiah 57:21 MKJV).
