Are we to believe that unbelievers will spend an eon in Hell before being burned up or to parish.
Forever and Eternity and Everlasting Translated from the Greek word as an Eon? …A beginning and an end…………When believers enter either Heaven or the New Jerusalem for ….forever, or eternity will they only be there for an Eon instead of eternity? There are proofs of an unbelievers will not spend an eternity in the lake of fire………..So, on the other side will we believers spend only an Eon with Christ? We can’t have it both ways……But on the upside once the believers receive their immortal bodies and be like Christ…..whats the point? Perhaps once we have these immortal bodies God will use us for other uses because he owns the universe and there will only be about 4 billion of us who are the elect will be higher than Angels and like Christ…Could it be we will be in a teaching mode for an Eon to correct others in Gods Universe????

I was trying to ask a very simple question and I get this for an answer? I have been a Christian since I was 9 years old. I’m 73 and one of my hobby’s is to research the scriptures…………..My simple question was why did the translators use “forever and eternity” for the translation of Eon? Does this Eon mean the same for an unbeliever to spend and eon (forever) in the lake of fire? And then use the term “forever” to spend our lives with Christ an Eon…………..Which has an beginning and an end. How can the translators use this term of forever and eternity with Christ if its translated to an Eon?

Yep! your exactly what I have suspected with your non answers. Its obvious you are living in your own bubble (another false prophet) spewing your venom by using the word of God out of context. A Christian does not question another’s faith in Christ. “Do not judge, lest you be judged”
You cannot handle a simple question because you don’t have an answer…..You are like a lot of pastors out there who also have no answers or don’t want to answer them. They only can speculate what Revelation is about. God gives insite to us for the first 6 chapters and 19 and on. The Bible was written over a 1500 year period and is God breathed. However the translators have had problems in the past from Greek to English.
I think I’ll take my ball and go home because I can see you don’t know how to address the question.

Ben,
I read your earlier response and I was gonna say, don’t get angry or offended. That is not the way you want to go here. But reading your latest e-mail, I see you got both angry and offended. Paul did answer your question; it just wasn’t what you expected or wanted to hear. As Paul has pointed out, you are eating from the Tree of Knowledge; that is the reality of it. I have been there; that is being in a bubble.
What I noticed and wanted to point out to you is that you call researching the scriptures “one of your hobby’s.” Doesn’t that tell you that something is very wrong with where you stand with the Lord? So please, reconsider, get un-offended, and earnestly read the papers.
