The Very Clear Message of Islam
(presented very clearly)
Here is a 2006 blog worth reading, since many have still not heard,
or gotten, the message. For answers, go to our Islam
section.

Showdown in Sin City
We have been engaged in an on-going and intense discussion with
professors of Christ who dispute God's sovereignty and His ability
to deliver on His promises. It makes for some very interesting reading
as the contradiction of their claims to believe in the Lord Jesus
are contrasted with His words, acts, and ways.
Here is the blog address. The top two blog postings contain the
discussion; to access the comments (where things have been happening),
go to the “(#) comments” link under each posting. You
can read the conversation in chronological order if you start at “Path
of Truth?” and then move to “Heresy: The Sequel.”

What Is the Christ?
“But Saul all the more was growing strong, and was confounding
the Jews who were dwelling in Damascus, proving that this Jesus
is the Christ” (Acts 9:22 EMTV).
“For he was powerfully refuting the Jews publicly, demonstrating
by the Scriptures that Jesus was the Messiah” (Acts 18:28
EMTV).
Yes, it is Who is the Christ, and the answer is,
of course, “the Lord Jesus.” However, we can also ask What is
the Christ? The answer is exciting.
The Christ is:
THE One
The Anointed
The Promise
The Holy One of God
Emmanuel, or “God with us”
The Seed of God planted in the Earth
God in the flesh
The Source of Life
The Bread and water of life
The Hope of Israel
The Manifestation of God
God’s Love to man
The Deliverer, Redeemer, Savior
The One Mediator
The Bridge between man and God
The Door to Eternal Life
The Manifest Will of God
The Purpose of God for man
Eternal Life
The Sure Foundation
The Beginning and the End
The Light of the world
The Only and Sure Hope of man
The Hope of Glory
The Way, the Truth, and the Life
The Supreme Example of the destiny of man
The Fulfillment of all things
The Victor over all things
The Union of God and man
Suffering
The Consumption
The Fire of God
The Wedding of Life and Death
The Prophecy of mankind’s future
The Recreation and Reconciliation of All Things
The Elimination of All Enmity in the Universe
The Seed of the Great Harvest
The end of the Law for righteousness
All the Treasures of Wisdom and Knowledge
God

Objectivity? Part 2
It is said that one person’s “terrorist” is another’s “freedom
fighter”; one man’s garbage is another man’s treasure;
and that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. No two translators
will give an identical message, and no two witnesses will report
a matter identically. One may try to be objective. “I will
see things from his point of view,” says one sincerely in
pursuit of objectivity. Unless he is prepared to betray and deny
himself, and be another, or be at another’s complete disposal,
how can one possibly see anything as does another? Unless they are
the same person, with the same input of influence, emotion, knowledge
and experience, and, indeed, of the same nature, can anyone be truly
objective?
That is why the new birth changes everything, if indeed a true
new birth it is. Being born of God, one will begin to see things
as God sees them, and to think as God thinks. They are now one in
spirit and nature, the fruit more evident as time passes. There
is no other way to see as another. Until that new birth, it is impossible
for one to be “objective” concerning matters pertaining
to God. One will have his perspective and opinions growing out of
the varied knowledge and experiences of others, with limited information,
misinformation, bias, ignorance, imaginations, and selfish desire.
But when the person denies himself and dies to himself, accepting
the mind and will of another, then he becomes “objective,” that
is, he sees as another sees, not preferring his own way, but that
of another.
Objectivity ought never to be adopted by submitting to how another
human being perceives things, if contrary to how the one adopting
has seen them. To do so sincerely would require nothing less than
to put full faith in that other, in short, worship another. No human
being on earth deserves that kind of trust or respect, not the best
husband, wife, boss, religious leader or any other. Even if that
person trusted remains true to his or her position, is there any
guarantee he or she is right? If he or she is right, is there any
guarantee he or she will continue to be right on that matter, much
less be right in all? Only with God is there true guarantee. Only
with God is there a sure footing to warrant “objectivity.”
-Victor Hafichuk (October 13, 2007)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Objectivity?
What is that? One dictionary defines it as “judgment based
on observable phenomena and uninfluenced by emotions or personal
prejudices.” Obvious emotions and prejudices aside, are we
not all influenced one way or another to see things as we do?
Is God “objective” or does He see things His way only?
Can unregenerate mankind be nonpartisan? Is it capable of true justice?
Will a Catholic or Mormon judge, district attorney, or crown prosecutor,
for example, be impartial when charges are brought against a religious
group, whose doctrine, lifestyle, and belief are not in harmony
with theirs? How can it be? Unless a judge is plainly, publicly
constrained by the letter of the law to pronounce sentence, knowing
there are consequences not acceptable to him if he should be inconsistent
with the law, chances are he will find as he sees fit.
History is brimming with decisions, judicial, political, economic,
social, or otherwise, especially in the name of religion, which
are anything but “objective,” whatever that means. These
decisions are made by all classes and levels, right up to the highest
authorities in the land.
Does objectivity preclude having my own perspective? Must I be
the common politician who does not his own will, but the will of
the people who elect him? Why should I be willing to see things
everybody’s way at once? How can I? Of course, objectivity
in itself does not mean that I see things everybody’s way,
but that I am willing to let a judgment be in favor of those with
whom I do not necessarily agree on other matters or even the matter
in question, as long as they are right or their cause is just, assuming
there is a “right way” of seeing things.
Objectivity is a pipe dream that can only be otherwise if defined
in the context of truth, which is of certain definition and standard,
and not something “objective.” God’s mind and
law take precedence over man’s. Without the knowledge of God,
man is a brute beast, pleasing his passions, however refined, educated,
and objective they may seem to be.
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; but
the foolish despise wisdom and instruction” (Proverbs 1:7
HNV).

We Do Not Live By Bread Alone
We rarely mention our worldly business on this site, for the obvious
reason that it is not normally related to the subject matter at
hand. But we have also been reticent to talk about it because we
have wanted to avoid all appearances of using this site to gain
business. However, we have had little cause to worry. What has been
more common is that we lose customers when we speak out on matters
of life in our business newsletter, as you will see in this posting: What
Is Important?
We are very thankful for this honor because we are not talking
religion, but Reality and Life for everyone, by the Lord Jesus Christ,
with Whom we are most desirous to identify, though undeserving of
the immense privilege.

Last week, I was having some pretty sharp pain in my back. I knew
it was not anything serious or of concern, but it was sharp enough
to prevent me from sitting or standing comfortably (and any kind
of twisting motion was excruciating). I suffered through the
Sabbath, thinking it would go away, but awoke on Sunday with
more pain. During prayer before breakfast, I asked the Lord to show
me if there was anything I should do for it. I did not want to go
to a chiropractor, as it seemed like too much fuss, and I was quite
busy with my work. I immediately saw a vision of me laying on the
floor, and Paul standing on my back. When I told Paul about it,
he said we should do that, and I felt the same way. Later that afternoon,
we did. Paul stood on my back (but not with all his weight), gently
pushing with his foot up and down my spine. When I got up, the pain
was gone, and I had full flexibility back.

The Last Days - When?
Many say that we are in the last days, as if this is a new thing.
When exactly did the last days begin, and what are they all about?
The answer is in the Scriptures:
“[Jesus Christ] having been foreknown indeed before the foundation
of the world, He was made manifest in these last times for you” (1
Peter 1:20 EMTV).
“Little children, it is the last hour; and as you were given
word that the antiChrist would come, so now a number of antiChrists
have come to you; and by this we are certain that it is the last
hour” (1 John 2:18 BBE).
The last times have come when Jesus Christ is made manifest to
you, and the last hour is when the antiChrist is revealed to you.
AntiChrist is a spirit - the spirit of men who worship God, but
not in Spirit and Truth, as spoken of by Jude to true worshippers:
“But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken beforehand
by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, how they told you that
in the last time there would be mockers, walking according to their
own ungodly lusts. These are those who cause divisions [denominations],
worldly, not having the Spirit” (Jude 1:17-19 EMTV).
When you fully see the antiChrist, it is because you have seen
and are of the Christ, Who has opened your eyes. You will have entered
the last days, and have been brought to your end. Henceforth Satan,
who comes as an angel of light, is no longer hidden from your eyes.
The last hour has come; you are in and of the new world, the Kingdom
of God, and you bring the last days for others.

“Neighborhood Bully”
http://mideasttruth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6726
We recently received the above lyrics and link to the Bob Dylan
song, “Neighborhood Bully.” How true it is that the
world looks upon a small land and people as the instigator of trouble,
when the record shows that the opposite is true!
On this site you will find the spiritual Food that raises men from
the dead, which comes by the truth we speak about all men, including
yourself. For speaking thus we are also called “bullies,” but
know this: A bully seeks his own, belittling others to make himself
larger, whereas a friend seeks your welfare, acting at his expense
to enrich others. Only the truth will make you free.

The Secret
The Secret is storming the world. It is the same, age-old
philosophy and science falsely called, saying, “You can lift
yourself up by your own bootstraps if you believe and do it right.” Multitudes,
with money in hand, flock to these teachings, because they seek
only gain, and do not have the heart for the truth, which is free
and which would make them free indeed, if they believed. I was there
too until God gave me the grace to know that He (The Truth) was
much better.
Pursuing the false, people are disappointed, disillusioned, disenfranchised,
dismayed and disgruntled. Some walk away wealthy by selling the
idea. This process repeats itself time and time again with nobody
bettered, especially not even the slick, though sincere salespeople.
