What are you selling?

To Whomever,

I'm trying to understand your teachings, yet they lack any real clarity parallel to the Holy Bible.

I read your expositions about the many speakers of our day, yet you never really use any clear interpretation of scripture to prove there falsehoods. With all due respect, the writings sound like a used car salesmen wrote them, never committing to any real point other than to discredit others.

Maybe you could just use the Scriptures, instead of your vague interpretation.
Many Thanks,

Jason

Would you consider me a false teacher if I told someone:

In order to be saved you must first humble yourself, admitting your sinfulness then turn away from your wickedness with a truly repentant heart. Living everyday thereafter believing and confessing through obedience; Jesus Christ lived, died and was resurrected by God as an example of His great love for you, a sinner!
Many Thanks,

“Did not even Satan marvelously transform himself into an angel of light? Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works” (2 Corinthians 11:14-15 MKJV).

Jason, as valid as your gospel may sound because expressing some truth, it has the subtle influence of the enemy, that which men savor to be able to boast somewhat, so we would most certainly consider you a false teacher. Here's what the Scriptures declare to counter your deceptive and self-righteous lie:

Ephesians 2:8-10 MKJV
(8) For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God,
(9) not of works, lest anyone should boast.
(10) For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.

The enemy's gospel is a close counterfeit to the true. To try to deceive the elect who should know better, it must be powerful:

“Then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ! Or, There! Do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders; so much so that, if it were possible, they would deceive even the elect” (Matthew 24:23-24 MKJV).

It is called “strong delusion”:

“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie, so that all those who do not believe the truth, but delight in unrighteousness, might be condemned” (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 MKJV).

As to your inability to understand the Gospel we do preach:

2 Corinthians 4:3-5 ESV
(3) And even if our Gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.
(4) In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, Who is the image of God.
(5) For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord….

John 8:43-47 MKJV
(43) Why do you not know My speech? Because you cannot hear My Word.
(44) You are of the Devil as father, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and did not abide in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it.
(45) And because I tell you the truth, you do not believe Me.
(46) Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do you not believe Me?
(47) He who is of God hears God's Words. Therefore you do not hear them because you are not of God.

You say, “I read your expositions about the many speakers of our day, yet you never really use any clear interpretation of scripture to prove there falsehoods.

The Pharisees had rather good doctrine on the surface of things. They believed in One God, the resurrection, in the spiritual (unlike the Sadducees); they fasted, prayed, attended temple, diligently studied the Scriptures, sacrificed, gave alms and testified to the ends of the earth to disciple others. The Lord in a measure of acknowledgment of some right with them, said of them:

“The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, observe and do. But do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do” (Matthew 23:2-3 MKJV).

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithes of mint and dill and cummin, and you have left undone the weightier matters of the Law, judgment, mercy, and faith. You ought to have done these and not to leave the other undone” (Matthew 23:23 MKJV).

Jason, your stance is in the Pharisee tradition and spirit. You need to repent of your righteousness.

Luke 18:10-14 MKJV
(10) Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a tax-collector.
(11) The Pharisee stood and prayed within himself in this way: God, I thank You that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax-collector.
(12) I fast twice on the Sabbath, I give tithes of all that I possess.
(13) And standing afar off, the tax-collector would not even lift up his eyes to Heaven, but struck on his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner!
(14) I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself shall be abased, and he who humbles himself shall be exalted.

I thought I was a Christian. I guess it takes too much intellect to be one, according to you, I should give up trying to understand how to be one. Thank you for weakening my faith in Christ. I believe I will go back to my old ways now. Your teaching has just released the spirit of sinful desire into my life, a former addict, murderer, sinner. The faith that has transformed my life has been extinguished by this teaching of yours. I appreciate your time and I hope (no longer pray) that you will have a good life.

Thank you,

Jason

In the name of Christ Explain your contradictions.

“Did not even Satan marvelously transform himself into an angel of light? Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works” (2 Corinthians 11:14-15 MKJV).

Do you not claim to be yourself an angel of light? Apparently, you are to be the only man who follows Christ (or do you) you never really admit to be a follower of Christ. Your vague intellect, is quite frankly teaching falsely. You do not, in any way know how to defend your position, nor offer loving discipleship to another. All you do is create division in the Body of Christ. For a doctrine to be true you must have supporting verses, do you not? If not, we could beat our children, murder our friends and commit unmeasurable sin all in the name of a few verses. Your doctrine has no substance, other than your personal revelation.

Therefore, refer to your selected verse above. I was very disheartened by your teaching this morning, it made me want to walk away from my faith. Living a right life worthy of the bride of Christ in this world is hard, it has no glory nor does it make me proud. I understand the minute I become self-righteous in my attitude toward others, is the moment I have lost the hold on Christ and exalt myself above Him. You sir need to:

Humble Yourself Before God! -- Romans 3:9-18 - supported James 4:10, Isaiah 5:15, Luke 14:11

9 What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.
10 As it is written:
“There is none righteous, no, not one;
11 There is none who understands;
There is none who seeks after God.
12 They have all turned aside;
They have together become unprofitable;
There is none who does good, no, not one.”
13 “Their throat is an open tomb;
With their tongues they have practiced deceit”;
“The poison of asps is under their lips”;
14 “Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”
15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood;
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways;
17 And the way of peace they have not known.”
18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

--- You sir, have exalted yourself above the word of God. You are adding to its teaching. Repent of your delusion, humble yourself accordingly. ----

Believe that Christ is Propitiation for our Sin -- Romans 3:21-26 - supported 1 John 2:2, Hebrews 2:17, 1 John 4:10

21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Rejoicing in Christ is not Pride - it is Respect! -- Romans 5:6-11

6 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

--- You sir have no respect for Christ. To declare and judge everyone who does not accept your vague doctrine as a sinner and false teacher, assumes you have the authority to do so. Consider the consequences of your attitude and actions you carry forward in the name of Christ! ---

Get on Your Knees before God and Confess He is Lord not you! -- Romans 10:9-10 supported Matthew 10:32, 1 Timothy 6:12, Hebrews 4:14

5 For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.” 6 But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'” (that is, to bring Christ down from above) 7 or, “'Who will descend into the abyss?'”(that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

-- Good Sir, you need to confess of your own false teaching. You claim I teach falsely, while using the word of God. My teaching is sound, just as Christ taught it to be so. I alone have no authority, but only Christ who speaks through me as it is His word I share with boldness.--

Proverbs 26:4-5 - If you are not the fool referred to, then you are full of pride. Apart from Christ, we are all fools - look up the definition and receive a measure of humility.

My faith in Christ is reinforced and even stronger now, thank-you. I pray you will repent and turn from your false teachings that weaken people's faith in Christ, confess that Jesus is Lord and not yourself. Humble yourself in the sight of God, and stop manipulating the word of God to give understanding your personal revelation.

Many Thanks,

Jason

Victor and Paul,

I wish to ask for forgiveness of my self-righteous attitude in previous mailings.

I want to thank you for initiating a deeper study of the working of the Holy Spirit in my life. God is slowing revealing to me that a true saving faith cannot not be as simple as a calculation of physical changes in one's life. This is awakening for me along with those of my congregation. Somehow, the church has become a representation of the early day synagogues and NOT a representation of the Body of Christ. Please continue to pray for me (I know you are already, I feel it) as I journey farther into the Spirit. I know now, if man can explain it in terms of intellect, then man with manufacture a falsity, one they can control and manipulate.

Once again please forgive my attack and disregard for your ministry. Your ministry awakens the verse Revelation 11:3 in my heart. I do not claim you are the witnesses, however; the reception of your ministry upon my flesh was received as they will be received.

My only constructive criticism, gentleness is best when dealing with a small child. In light to the revelation you have spoken into my life, 99% of Professing Christians are mere infants in the sight of this understanding. Consider praying to God to reveal a parable like understanding that you can share with the children of God. Similar to the Ark, maybe relate to the submission and trust that once in the Ark, it is the Ark that sustains the crashing waves and delivers through the storm. However, to remain in the Ark we must be completely surrendered to the Holy Spirit and dead to our self-interests. Desiring nothing, completely abandoned to the Truth that Jesus calls us and not us who call Jesus. He saves us, and nothing of our own power can come close to Salvation worth. I'm still grasping the depth of the liberty in Christ.

Either way, please forgive me.

Many Thanks,

Jason

Hi Jason,

We forgive you, though it may help you to know that we didn't take personal offense at your emails. It wasn't us, but the truth you were coming against. We're thankful you're now reconsidering things in God's light, The Light of All Men, in order to be reconciled to Him. We hope you'll continue in what He's given you to see. And surely if you do, we'll have fellowship in Him.

This realization is true:

God is slowing revealing to me that a true saving faith cannot not be as simple as a calculation of physical changes in one's life.

If the Light is dawning on you, it's a miracle, a work of the Holy Spirit. Many who become religious are changed in even dramatic ways, but unless one is born again, he won't see the Kingdom of God and be joined to the saints in Heaven (Hebrews 12:22 and following). Keep going - knowing that only the one who endures to the end is saved (Matthew 10:22).

As for the “constructive criticism” you've offered, we're not sure what you're suggesting. Are you saying we were too rough on you? We know the truth is particularly rough on those who don't have the heart for it, and to justify themselves they must fault the messenger. On this count we have often heard your critique, so qualifying things further would be helpful.

Consider: Why were the Lord and His apostles persecuted and killed? Was it for speaking “kindly” and “gently” to vipers? All the gentleness in the world won't help those who love lies and are given over to strong delusion. Indeed, they are already under the power of the kisses of the enemy:

“Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful” (Proverbs 27:6 MKJV).

You should know that the “99% of professing Christians” of whom you say they are without understanding in the things we speak, aren't, by and large, “infants” in the Kingdom of God. The vast majority of these are tares, those from whom God has hidden His sayings:

“In that same hour He rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, 'I thank you, Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was Your gracious will'” (Luke 10:21 ESV).

If you walk in the truth of the Gospel we preach, you'll see this with your own eyes. You'll be persecuted by those you thought were the children of God.

John 16:1-4 EMTV
(1) These things I have spoken to you, so that you should not be made to stumble.
(2) They will excommunicate you; but a time is coming when everyone who kills you will think that he is offering God a service.
(3) And these things they will do to you because they did not know the Father or Me.
(4) But these things I have spoken to you, so that when the time comes, you may remember them, that I told you.

We look forward to hearing more about your spiritual journey, Jason. Tell us about your congregation, too.

As a side note: By your email address, we noticed the product your company deals in and passed the information on to a brother in Christ in Ontario, Michael Demerling, who owns Sensorsoft. You or your company may hear from him.

Re: What are you selling?

Greetings,

Thank you very much for your encouragement. Miraculously enough my new found insight into the working of the Spirit has begun a change as to what I find acceptable in the sight of our Lord. Every day disgust grows in me for what Man has created with its hands to represent the church, therefore; the Bride of Christ.

I believe, open to your correction of course, that Man has rationalized the Christian Faith into a manufactured equation. "Admit, Believe, Confess = Salvation" Man has done this so they can recreate a false belief, manufacturing once again a false religion based on self righteousness. Our mainstream Christian belief today differs very little from the Jewish belief in the time of Christ. We have manufactured a feel good, add a little Jesus to your life false religion. May God forgive us all. With this understanding it is quite possible only 144,000 souls will make it to the New Jerusalem.

The awakening of this new Faith in my heart, is exactly where it needs to be seeded, in my heart. It has become a feeling and no longer a process of control. I am truly wondering though, terrifying me as I am no longer in control. Truly dead to self and belief.

I must embrace James 1:19. Your position is correct as to offer straightforward rebuke to those who manipulate the word of God.

With regards to my congregation it is one of concern to me, however; I have been part of the internal redirection. To start out it is a Philippines planted congregation called Jesus is Lord. I have not taken full membership in my heart as I have issues with how it is structured. First of all there is no elder not deacon board as established in the New Testament mandate. My wife is the Pastor, which is a contention in our marriage. I do not agree with this, it is against the mandate established in the New Testament. These concerns, have been expressed to the Bishop. However, fallen on deaf ears.

God encouraged me to receive licensing from GMCI (an independent full gospel organization) so He could use me in schools and hospitals. God has a men's ministry, as well; youth ministry growing through His Spirit upon my life. Upon my life the Spirit's gifting is in preaching and teaching. Little patience for pastoring, now I know why - a lot of Christians need open heart surgery to be right with God. The eternal victory is non-existent in their life because they want to understand the healing process - such as myself.

I look around and most fellowships have little right and quite a bit of established false belief. God will sort it out, faithful witnesses need to press in with out reasonable service for our Master.

I do have a question about your belief in water baptism. Your statements against it I find hard to understand as Jesus himself was baptized along with a commandment to His disciples to do the same. We can clarify that he meant physical baptism as it is recorded as such. Even looking at Acts 8 with Philip and the Ethiopian. If it was against the principles of God, it should have grieved the Spirit. Instead, the Spirit was encouraged by Philip's obedience so much so that it "caught" him (transported) farther North. Been meditating on this since this transformation has started.

Thank you for forwarding my information onto our Brother, it is very much appreciated. Our company is comprised of three Christian salesmen. God has brought us together every Monday morning to pray for blessing and direction. It is a great opportunity for us to build each other up.

Thank you,

Jason

Hi Jason,

Your congregation is what you've described of mainstream Christianity - a rationalized faith with a manufactured equation and conversion based on self righteousness. Obviously then, it's not the work of the Lord Jesus Christ. The only reason it may not be clear as to what you must now do is because personal associations (particularly your wife) cloud your vision. You must take up the cross and deny yourself in order to see clearly, if you will go on with the Lord outside the camp.

Water baptism is a non-issue. Our point isn't that we stand against it so much as we've gone on with the Lord in what He's doing today. We're not circumcising as Abraham did with his household or water baptizing as Paul did with the household of Stephanas. Even there, Paul was leaving that behind. As with Paul, Christ hasn't sent us to baptize, “but to preach the Gospel; not in wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect” (1 Corinthians 1:17 MKJV).

We don't have a problem if you were water baptized, but it won't save you or anyone else. For that you need to take up the cross, which the Lord is presently manifesting in your life by His gracious intrusion at this juncture, showing you the way to life through forsaking all for Him and the Kingdom of God's sake, the Pearl of Great Price.

We also must tell you that it wasn't Him encouraging you to receive licensing from GMCI in order to “use [you] in schools and hospitals.” That was your own spirit and leading from another “God,” the man of sin within. Yes, that man does many fine and noble works, highly esteemed by men. But the true God doesn't train His ministers in men's institutions or allow for any mixture in His Holy Temple.
